I looked at the message and decided to respond to the message.

Me: I don't know who you are. You may have gotten the wrong number.

???: Nope! I got your number from Faylen! She seemed happy to give me your number. I noticed you were also is Ms. Desiree's Class and I wanted some help on my notes. I am planning to take the test I missed, but I'm confused about Power Levels and how they operate...｡ﾟ(ﾟ´Д｀ﾟ)ﾟ｡

'They answered pretty quickly..' I thought to myself then texted back.

Me: I'll be back in Old Wellspring soon. Meet me at the Wellspring Diner. Also can you send a picture so I know who to look for?

???: Ahh sure! Here you go!

The person sent a picture of themselves. It was a selfie of a beautiful girl holding a cup of coffee in her hand. She had long brown hair and brown eyes. She wore a necklace that had a cat charm on it and a bracelet with a stone in the middle.

Me: Wow...you're really cute.

"Why did I send that..?" I sighed and facepalmed.

???: Ahh~ Thank you, I don't take pictures often, but I really liked that one! (｡>﹏<｡)

I looked at my phone then my Lover Finder buzzed.

I waited for her to text back, but received no response. I looked up from my phone then heard some someone call my name. I looked to my right.

"Heeey!" A girl said, waving her hand in the air, oblivious to the attention she's attracting to herself. She let out a giggle then stumbled.

She stopped in front of me and I looked up at her. She had on a white button up shirt that was tucked into a brown skirt. She wore black stockings and brown boots.

"You dressed up for a friendly meeting amongst peers." I said then stood up.

"I wanted to make myself presentable! Don't I look cute?" She smiled and twirled around.

I looked at her then smiled and placed my hands in my jacket pockets. "You do look really cute."

She giggled and her cheeks became a bit rosy. "By the way, I'm Kali. Faylen calls me Brownie because my favorite color is brown."

"I'm still pretty new to it as well. I paid attention in Ms. Desiree's class. Power Level is pretty important in this world it seems. To calculate Power Level you have to uh..." I started.

"You logically can't calculate power level." Kyu-Pit whispered in my ear.

"Now that I think about it, there's a reason why Ms. Desiree never spoke about calculating Power Level. You can't logically calculate it." I said and looked at Kali.

"So...what's the use of Power Level?" She asked.

"Well Power Level is used as a ranking system to see how strong one is. There are five categories, Human, Peak Human, Enhanced, Supernatural, and Absolute." I explained.

"Wow! So there are that many categories for Power Levels? I didn't know that!" Kali said as she wrote down the notes.

We had lunch at the diner and I paid the bill. We left the diner then went to a park. We sat by each other and she took out her phone and earbuds. She plugged the earbuds into her phone. She handed me the left earbud. I put the earbud in my ear. Music began to play, it was an instrumental made from Music Maker XL.

"You made this?" I asked.

"Mhm. I don't have enough money for real music production equipment, so I have to make due with what I have." Kali answered.

We sat in silence and listened to the music. Kali began to hum a bit then began to sing. She closed her eyes as she sang. Her voice was beautiful when she sang. I picked up a few of her lyrics as she sang.

She opened her eyes and blushed then paused the song. She looked at her phone then looked at me. "I uh.."

'How do I approach her..?' I thought to myself.

I tapped her shoulder then she looked at me. She took her left earbud out of her ear. "Hey, Kay. I didn't expect you to be here as well."

She rolled her eyes and looked back at her phone. "Whatever...Fuck off."

"Boy I fucking hate bitches like these. I'm so glad Aubrie isn't like this anymore because I would've had some words for her! Anyway these are the kinds of girls I hate, Angsty Girls. Ugh...Can't believe you had eyes on her. Just...I don't know. Say whatever to her." Kyu-Pit rolled her eyes.

I looked at her then scratched the back of my head. I didn't know how to approach the situation. Her energy was so dreading that it just only made me feel dread. "Isn't it funny how everyone around here is so happy..? Like what is there to smile about in this world?"

"Like life is so pointless at this point. The only reason I keep living is because I'm trying to find a sliver of light that could only come out from this dark world I live in." I sighed and looked off into the distance.
