The briefing meeting would be chaired by the Ministers of Defense and Interior, on whom depended the forces intervening in the proceedings, the National Police and the Gendarmerie, whose highest authorities were present. There was also a senior member of the Ministry of Justice. All the heads of the operatives were also in the large room, some of which were standing for lack of chairs and place. Dupont greeted Captain Bertone and Lieutenant Bressan, who had been invited to account for the actions in Venice. The last part would be reserved and only the ministers and maximum leaders of the forces would be present.

After a short wait the Interior Minister cleared his throat in front of the microphone to demand silence and expressed.

“ The summary will be given by Commander Chenie, who has coordinated the actions from the beginning.”
