The Family business
'Cress Star' was not a small business. It has evolved over time to became a well-known business and the investor feels insecure without any proper successor to succeed it.
Even with such a stressed look, Mr. Cress tried his best to keep the business things away from the Felix family.
No matter how trustable the Felix family were, they can't become so close that the Cress family for whom 'Cress Star' was like their baby could be handed over to.
Mr. Felix frowned but kept it to himself, "How can you believe that in such a terrible situation, we won't even try to help you. As your family we can do the least things expected and even mother-in-law thinks the same".
The mother he is talking about is the step mother of my father.

Cynthia pushed a full egg in her mouth with her bare hand. Her cat like eyes staring them continuously after leaning on the table while mouth bulging as she chewed.
My father's step mother hates him even when he gave up his inheritance right of the business for his step sister and now, they shamelessly want to have something my mother and father build over years.
She snorted hearing Mr. Felix kind proposal and as she rolled her eyes, it met Arial.
Arial was continuously staring her.
Her eyebrows twisted seeing Cynthia bad tableware manner whereas Cynthia harrumphed staring her back.
Taking her tongue out and then smirking to irritate the dear daughter of Felix, Cynthia acted like a five-year-old making all that weird kind of faces.
Arial frowned and gritted her teeth but was ignored by Cynthia. It enraged her more but that couldn't stop Cynthia from ignoring her as she deeply got lost in her thoughts…

Then she took a big bite of chicken leg while using her bare hand and staring Arial.
Chewing loudly while moving her mouth roughly, she made her cousin feel disgusted.
Huh! Such bad manner while eating, she is nowhere like a lady from a big family. More like a beggar hungry and thirsty, ready to devour everything.
No wonder she stayed inside her room to hide her foolish manners. She is a shame to every family. Arial sneered while badmouthing Cynthia inside her head.
Even after staying silent for the whole time and eating without any manners in front of Arial to annoy her, Cynthia had the strength to get all her enemies down on their knees.
Her sharp eyes remained at the three members of Felix family.

Mr. Cress felt depressed. He was well aware of how the Felix family wanted to help him by letting their eldest daughter take the position of successor though he wasn't aware of their ill intentions.
Not getting any response from Mr. Cress, Mr. Felix spoke again after clearing his throat, "Shu can become the temporary successor and seeing her achievement in arts, no one will have any problem with it. Once Jess comes back everything can go back to how it used to be".
And I am sure you will give it all to make sure my brother never comes back, uncle! Cynthia frowned hearing his cheap offer.
Shu short for Shreya Felix, their eldest daughter studying under Ms. Lia Cress, who is a famous jewellery designer.
Ms. Lia is a professor in the field of design. She teaches others on how to design different jewels differently and her antique jewels are often shown in museums.
Therefore, Mr. Jun wants her daughter to take over the famous enterprises from her teacher, who is Lia Cress.
As if ignoring Lia Cress clear words of reject, Jun Felix continued to pester Mr. Cress who was the most vulnerable in the family.
Irritated by his continuous bothering, Lia Cress brushed her fingers through her hair and pursed her lips while taking a deep breath to calm herself.
She was about to clear it once and for all when Cynthia words widened her eyes.
"No need for that," Cynthia said eloquently and took a sip of water before clearing her throat.
Sigh… looking at my silent and distressed parents, they might have no any idea on how to refute and maybe they are also feeling guilty to disagree while thinking that the Felix family are giving their all to help them.
Once again, I can't help but think that they are too naïve! So, I have to step in now.
A small smirk left her lips as she spoke again but a little nicely this time.
"How can we afford to waste cousin Shu time by asking her such a favour. Since this our family issue, I as the second child has to step up and do the work instead of my brother until he comes back".
