'Ok. So let's do the math. Magik was stuck here for 8 years of Limbo time. That's 365.25 times 8 which is 2,922 days. That happened over the span of 5 minutes of Earth time. Which are 300 seconds.

That means the soonest that I would be able to leave here would be about 10 days if she opens another portal the next second. And that is if she opens the portal to the same location and didn't send me to the future or past. If not, my stay would be even longer.

I will need to set up a parameter around wherever I am and make a base since I have no idea what the environment is like.

The only good news is that now I have a bunch of beings I can kill without discrimination and get a bunch of powers.'

Using his time in the Dark Zone, Jack thought up a plan for himself. After making sure he thought it through, he picked out the [Regenerative Healing Factor]. He didn't know how many demons there were or how powerful they were. The best way to ensure his survival was to get himself a healing ability.

Jack got into position and exited the Dark Zone. As soon as he did, he saw the body of a blue demon that had his arm in its neck.

'So that answers how I killed it.'

Jack pulled his hand out of the demon before looking around. He saw that there were over 20 demons near him and even more further away. All of the demons looked at Jack in surprise and shock.

[Echolocation!]

Jack immediately used his ability to determine how many enemies were truly around him.

'There are over a hundred demons here? Just where the fuck did she send me?'

Jack tried to control the nearest demons and turn them into his allies so he could even the numbers but realized that his telepathy was not able to affect any of their minds, similar to Magik.

'Is it being in this realm? If I stay here long enough, will I be immune to telepathy too?'

Jack didn't have any time to think. His strongest power was turned useless, his knife was damaged from the fight with Magik, and Jack had left his guns on the ship. He was truly in the worst situation he could have been in.

When Jack tried to probe their minds, most of the demons had recovered from the shock of seeing a human in front of them.

"@%$#! #&^ ##$$#!" one demon, in particular, yelled in a language that Jack did not understand and pointed toward him. All the nearby demons immediately jumped on Jack.

Jack used all the skills his body could handle at once and charged right back. Playing on the defensive in such a situation would only result in his death.

One demon had their neck ripped apart. Then another would be shocked before Jack reached into their chest and crushed their heart. Jack had even bitten into necks with his fangs and tore them out apart.

Over the next few days, Jack battled with his life constantly on the line. Each demon that he slew was replaced by another if not two. At first, it was barely worth it to Jack. He had gained about 10 skills and abilities from the various demons but after that, there were no more skills or abilities to get, or he had gotten the highest level of the skills/abilities that he could get. The rest was just him trying to survive.

It was 5 days later when the final demon fell to the ground without any life in its body. Jack stood over it with his body bleeding and exhaustion filling his entire being. As much as he wanted to sleep, it was too dangerous.

'I'm finally safe. I'm so tired. So hungry.'

Jack looked at the bodies around him and found the least disgusting demon there. Using his new, red claws, Jack tore off a piece of its flesh. He then set it ablaze with a fireball before biting into it. The taste of the meat and juices going down his throat nearly made Jack cry.

'My god. I never knew food could taste this good. I have never been this hungry and tired before, though. Maybe it is the exhaustion that makes it better.'

Jack continued to eat that piece of meat before he grabbed another. Then another. And another. He kept eating until he was full and even after that. Even while he was eating, he kept his guard up.

Once he was finally done with his dinner, Jack tried to summon his bug wings to fly away but remembered they had been torn apart the day before. He then summoned his [Demon Wings] and flew to the tallest tree he could see. There, Jack landed.

He then used [Echolocation] to check his surroundings. Once he was sure that there was nothing near him, Jack could finally feel at ease and rest.

Abilities gained:

- Demon Wings: Users can summon a pair of bat-like wings from their back. These wings allow for flight even when they are not beating, as long as they are not damaged severely

- Fireball: The user can create and shoot a ball of fire

- Demon Claws: The user is able to use a set of claws from their hands and feet that are capable of matching steel while being as light as normal claws

- Regenerative Healing Factor (Level 1) (Passive): Wounds and injuries that take weeks to recover heal in days.

- Gender Swap: The user is able to swap their gender at will

- Demon Magic (Apprentice): The user's skill with using demonic spells

- Magical Potential (Moderate): The user possesses a small amount of magic in their body that is just barely able to be used

- Permanent Prime: The user stops physically aging when they reach their prime

- Fusion: The user is able to combine their powers to create new powers. Previous powers are permanently lost

- Limbo Forged Body (Weak): The user is strong enough to lift up to 5 tons, can move up to 60 miles per hour, and can withstand the blows of weaker demons.
