Second guessing a Harem

Everyone's hearts were filled with joy after eating the new salted roast. Their physical strength had been restored and everyone was in high spirits so their pace was extremely brisk.

At dusk on the third day of marching back towards home, they finally saw their cave. Under the setting sun, a silhouette of a person stood in front of the hole of the cave. Edward recognized it at a glance. It was Night.

Night apparently saw him from afar. Yelling loudly, she rushed down the hillside of the cave like an arrow shoot straight towards Edward while fluttering her long hair. It was truly a picturesque reunion.

Roc commented from the side:

"Light bro, I've never seen sister Night this happy and crazy before! Hahahahhaha…"

Ignoring Roc's teasing, Edward rushed forward to meet Night mid-way.

Night slammed her body against Light and hugged him.

Drunk at the moment, Edward kissed her little lips. Night was surprised to see such an action coming from Light and just stared back at him with a smile on her face after the gentle kiss.

"Light it's been 10 days and finally you're back!"

Night hooked her hands around his neck and clung her soft body against his. Even Edward didn't felt like letting go for a long moment.

"I was so worried about what if something bad happened along the way? I couldn't sleep at night."

Night looked at Edward with her big crystal clear eyes. This was the most someone had ever worried about him.

Edward's heart had been melted.

"Night, I missed you too! Go and check out what I brought back for everyone!"

The Chief was back!

The entire tribe began to gather around the entrance to look at the arrival of their Chief and Edward accepted greetings from everyone. He smiled and talked with the various people of the tribe that had come to greet his arrival.

Naked children ran and surrounded the accompanying tribesmen that followed Edward for stories of their adventure. Women with their breasts out in the open and jiggling started to tend to the arriving men and especially their Chief while the men especially from the hunting team left behind gathered around the mysterious new item called salt.

Even in the midst of all the crowd, Edward looked around hoping to find a figure he was hoping was there amongst the crowd.

"Light, are you looking for Daisy?" Night giggled by the side.

Edward was a little embarrassed. For someone who was from the 21st century, this was like having to look for your second girlfriend while you were with your first girlfriend. This may not be awkward in this era but for Edward, it was something embarrassing.

'How can I get used to this era's way of thinking?'

"Light, Daisy is bleeding and her stomach hurt so she is currently lying down inside the cave."

"She is bleeding? What!?"

Edward screamed but as a married person, he immediately realized that Daisy may be having her periods.

"I copied from what you did the last time, I cooked willow leaves with water for her. She just slept after she finished drinking. I came out from the cave once she was resting to wait for you. I was lucky to see you coming back at the same time." Night said with a smile.

"Well, very good! But next time anyone bleeds use the same method for them too."

The two walked into the cave where they lived and found Daisy to be deep in slumber.

"Light, she was like me in these few nights. We both couldn't sleep in worry. Do you know that you have a special place in her heart?"

"This....." Edward did not know how to respond to Night so he just smiled and thought:

'Is this some sort of test to check my loyalty to you, Night?'

But after thinking about it, Night was just a primal girl and couldn't be compared to the 21st century back stabbing and double meaning women. Edward suddenly felt like a villain for thinking to such extremes when Night was just telling her honest thoughts.

"Night..." Edward made Night sit down before he continued. Edward felt like there was a need for a serious talk before anything could be considered.

Edward added a few pieces of charcoal to the fire pit and sincerely said:

"In my original tribe, a man can't be together with two women at the same time...."

After he was finished, he looked at her waiting for her response.
