"Toga!" Deku ran over to Toga, calling out her name. The second they were a meter away, they both jumped and gave each other a high five, shouting "Yay!" like kids in a playground. Uraraka chuckled, but still felt a little down. Toga looked back and saw Uraraka and Iida standing silently.
"Who are these people?" She asked out of curiosity, but mostly looked at Uraraka.
"My name is Tenya Iida, it's a pleasure meeting you!" Iida was as serious as ever, Toga was disappointed and knew herself that he wasn't any fun. Uraraka was next to introduce herself.
"I'm Ochako Uraraka, nice to meet you!" She was friendly and let her personality shine. Despite not having the brightest of heart in the moment, she still tried her best to keep a smile on her face to not worry anyone.
Toga was intrigued by Uraraka as she was able to see straight through the smile. Instantly, Toga knew what was going on by the look in her eyes but decided not to mention anything for her own personal entertainment.
"I'm Toga! Toga Himiko!" A beam of energy radiated from Toga, almost blinding the Iida and Uraraka. Deku, however, was used to it already. "Izuku, Izuku! Where are we going first?" She instantly turned her attention to Deku, ready to leave for their shopping spree.
"We'll go to whatever shop looks interesting, then we'll get pudding and drinks somewhere else and chat! Iida and Uraraka will be coming too!" Deku pointed back to Iida and Uraraka, who were both slightly shocked that Toga used Deku's first name so freely, but just assumed that they had been long and close friends.
After a few seconds of talking at the entrance of the school, they finally made their way to the mall to begin the fun. It only took a bus ride, Toga sat next to Deku and Iida sat next to Uraraka for the whole trip and they all talked together to get to know each other more. Uraraka had warmed up to Toga and felt more calm than she was before.
"We're here!" Deku walked out of the bus and gave a slightly dramatic introduction to the Musutafu Mall. There were many people walking around, couples, families and friends all in groups and enjoying their time, "Now! Onto the first shop!"
Deku walked in front like he was a soldier, Toga chuckled and followed. Iida and Uraraka looked at each other, confused as they had never seen this tide of Deku before.
They went to many shops, but no matter where they went, almost nothing suited Toga. On some occasions, Deku even relied of Uraraka to pick something out but there was still nothing that stood out to them. Eventually, they just picked out a couple of sets that worked best out of the ones available.
"Oh well, you're cute enough as it is." As they left the final shop, Deku concluded the hunt for clothes with a compliment, "So what did you guys get?" Deku turned to Iida and Uraraka.
Iida held up a pair of plain pajamas up in the air like he was presenting them to office workers. Deku, Toga and Uraraka all just sighed, letting it run from their heads. Deku then turned to Uraraka, who he had only just noticed was wearing the casual clothes.
"Whoa! Not bad!" Uraraka looked cute in her pink cardigan, black top and blue short-shorts. She blushed at Deku's compliment.
"Thank you! I thought I might as well get out of my uniform whilst we all hang out!" Uraraka got excited and happy by Deku's compliment as she spun around to show both the front and back of her clothes.
They stood in silence whilst Deku though about what to do next, but the next thing on their to do list was to get some food.
"How about we get food, I'm dying for some pudding!" Deku looked up on his phone for the best dessert restaurants near by and found on in the mall that they were standing in. Toga looked over Deku's phone and saw the menu, her eyes lit up and looked at Deku as if she was begging to go, "Looks like its decided! This way!"
Toga jumped up in excitement, Uraraka laughed and Iida followed Deku as if they were a mix of personalities ranging from serious to heavily optimistic. They walked for a couple of minutes until they arrived at the restaurant.
Everyone looked in hunger as they saw all the delicious desserts being served and eaten. Without hesitation, they walked in, got their seats and stared at the menu.
"Foods on me, get whatever you want!" Deku thought he would gift them all with free desserts out of his pockets.
"Are you sure?" Iida wanted to make sure that Deku was really okay to go through with it. Deku nodded his head to say yes, it was his money and he was going to choose how he would spend it. With Deku confirming his words, Iida looked at the menu.
They ordered their food and waited impatiently for their food to arrive. When it did, their eyes lit up and they began eating instantly.
"This tastes so good!" Uraraka had ordered a waffle with chocolate and cream, Iida had ordered a slandered pancake, Toga had ordered a chocolate sundae and Deku had ordered a strawberry sundae. They were all different from each other in either flavor or style.
After a few bites, Toga glanced over at Deku's strawberry sundae and then took another look at hers. She thought that maybe the strawberry sundae was the better choice.
"Izuku, does it taste good?" In her usual hyperactive manner, she curiously asked Deku for his opinion on the strawberry sundae. Deku laughed and came up with an idea for her to answer her own question.
"Here!" Deku took a scoop of the ice cream on the top of the sundae with a small slice of strawberry and offered Toga to take a bite. She looked happy and took a bite from the spoon.
"You two must be close. How long have you known each other?" Uraraka asked the question that had been on her mind ever since she had met Toga. Deku and Toga both looked at each other and then at Uraraka in confusion.
"We only met the other night?" They spoke simultaneously, almost like they had read the thoughts of the other. Uraraka was now also confused. Only a few nights and yet they were on first name bases, it seemed weird.
"We met each other one night and well, we had very similar tastes in entertainment and we just got along really well in general!" It was hard to believe that Deku and Toga had only met a couple of nights before, but it was true.
Toga then whispered into Deku's ear before she got up and joyfully skipped away.
"What is she doing?" Uraraka asked. For a moment, Deku didn't give an answer as he admired Iida aggressively eating the pancakes he had ordered.
"Oh!" Once Deku realised he was asked a question, he moved closer to Uraraka and whispered, "She's going to the toilet." Deku then sat back down in his seat and carried on eating his sundae. Uraraka looked at him with a down expression until she began eating again.
Uraraka, Iida and Deku had finished their dessert, but Toga was still yet to come back. Although they did eat their dessert really fast, it was strange how long it had taken her. Out of concern, they decided to get up and check on her.
"Thank you for the food, Midoriya." Iida thanked Deku before they left the restaurant with their bags, leaving Toga's dessert behind.
Once they left the restaurant, they looked over in the direction of where the toilets were located. When they looked, they noticed a crowd of people all looking at the same place. Deku wondered if Toga had killed someone in the open, but knew that she wouldn't have. Just to see what all the commotion was about, they walked over and through the crowd to see Toga standing in front of a man.
The situation explained itself: A man with a perverted smile, his friends laughing behind him and a cute girl standing in front of them. Deku knew that Toga had it under control, but she found a more efficient way of dealing with it.
Toga noticed Deku and had a great idea to get him to help her and have the situation be sorted as quickly as possible. She ran over to Deku and grabbed his arm.
"Just scare them and be done with it." Deku looked confused, but before he could question it, Toga dragged him to the center of attention and in front of the men.
"Are you supposed to be her boyfriend or something?" The man that looked like the leader of the group commented on Deku's arrival first. As Toga asked, Deku came up with something intimidating enough for them to leave Toga alone.
"Die." It was a strong and short sentence with an aura that made the air around everyone become heavy, Deku's expression was dark as his eyes glowed green with the intent to kill. This made the men in front go weak in their knees, falling onto the floor, eventually picking themselves up and running away.
Everyone was shocked by what happened and nervously just continued on with their day.
"My hero!" Toga used the same joke as the one she used when they first met, but they joke was only one that they could understand out of all the people around them.
"You could've dealt with them yourself." Deku laughed at Toga's joke, but didn't understand why he was dragged into it.
"But you dealt with it!" Toga jumped up like she was celebrating a victory. Iida and Uraraka were frozen by what Deku had done as they had never seen that side of him before. Though, not even Deku himself had seen that side of him.
"By the way, you missed out on the rest of your dessert." Deku then moved the topic onto the real issue. Since they had left the restaurant, Toga missed out on finishing her dessert when a waitress took the sundae and put it in the garbage, thinking that they had finished.
Toga looked disappointed and sad. Deku laughed at her reaction, whereas Iida and Uraraka awkwardly laughed, feeling slightly responsible.
"Don't worry, I'll make you something extra when we get home." Those words from Deku made the disappointed Toga turn excited. She had only eaten Deku's cooking once on that morning, but even that was some of the best breakfast she had ever had.
"You two live together!?" Uraraka was shocked, they had only known each other for a couple of days and were already living together.
"Yeah, the author thought he might as well get it over and done with." They all went silent in reaction to how lazy that decision was. However, it was going to happen eventually, and that was all there was to it, "Let's go get some Spacebucks!"
They began walking to the coffee shop before ending their day. After getting their coffee, they went their separate ways.
Iida and Uraraka walked home together since they both lived in Musutafu whereas Deku and Toga lived in the Kamino Ward and needed to take a train to get there. The sun was setting, turning the sky orange. Looking out of the train and to the horizon was a pretty sight to see, but Deku and Toga were too tired to appreciate it.
Once they got home, Deku quickly got the ingredients out to cook Okonomiyaki for Toga. By the time it was finished, the sky was pitch black. With the TV on, Deku and Toga sat down on the couch and watched the first comedy show they could find.
Toga was starving and ate the Okonomiyaki quicker than Deku could imagine.
"That was so good!" Toga loved it. Deku was trained to cook food for himself by Kurogiri along side his fighting training, and it all proved to be worth it.
Time went by, and eventually both Deku and Toga fell asleep on the couch together. Toga almost fell off a few times, but was stopped by Deku's embrace. They hadn't realised what happened as their sleep was forced on them by exhaustion.
