"Yes, we can discuss it tomorrow," Seraphina mumbled in a barely audible whisper. Her gaze shifted downward, fixating on the ground, while she suppressed her desire to ask further questions.
Gazing at Damian, she released her lips. In the warm glow of the surrounding candles, he exuded an intimidating yet captivating aura. She stared at him as though he were a masterpiece crafted by divine hands.
Damian sighed, becoming aware of her unwavering gaze. Initially puzzled by her attention, he soon grasped the focus of her eyes. Clearing his throat, he diverted her attention away.
The moment of silence that surpassed between them became something unbearable for a quick second, but soon, he gathered himself.
