Harebrained Scheme

"You're crazy," Wayne declared,backing out of the huddle.

"You're chicken," I retorted,looking to Keanu for support.

"Jude,I don't know if it can work," he hedged,looking at me doubtfully.

"Plus I'm not sure I can do what you want me to do," Logan threw in,making me back away from them all in disgust.

"Cowards!" I began pacing back and forth while they watched me,my hunger fueling my frustration. Closer now,the war between the Drakin and Globrik waged on.The day had darkened to twilight and gusts of wind swirled dead leaves and debris.

Just like back in the meadow.

We were running out of time.

"You!" I pointed at Keanu,

"You can summon any animal in the known universe and you're telling me you won't even try to find one that can dig a hole before we get sucked into one?" He started to argue his point but I wouldn't let him.
