Reasons

Blood trickled from my arms, flowing freely ss they slowly dripped into an eternal pool. My bloodied feet making ripples as I walked on the pool. I looked at my hands, I could see small souls, crying in agony.

"You killed us! You monster! The Angel inside you only made you worse! You should have been killed! We didn't ask for an unfilial daughter like you in the first place! If only the Angel and Demon didn't possess you, you might have lived a human life."

I was possessed by both the Angel and Devil? How did such thing happen..? I didn't ask for this at all! Though I have read up, these kind of people is a rare species. People love to test them, to see how far they can go. The souls on my hand continued crying.

"Everything was set up for you! Just pull the trigger and die with us! You deserved to die anyways!" Their sayings has invaded my mind, maybe it wasn't bad to kill myself. I would meet my parents in heaven once again, not caring about anything else. In a calm voice I said.

"Equipment magic gun. Heed my call." Magic dust came to around my hand, forming a gun. A snubnose pistol? The pistol was golden with a pearl handle. I could feel my magic stamina draining fast as I placed the barrel of the pistol at my temple. Wrapping my finger around the trigger, I gently pulled it.

A bullet then fired. The gunshot echoing through this empty space. Red blood splattered onto the never-ending pool of blood. My body weakening as I fell backwards. Weakly moving my hand to my temple, I could feel my blood coming out in waves. Then gun was then let go as it faded away into nothing.

I laid there, accepting myself to die here. I felt myself losing consciousness as I slowly closed my eyes. I heard voices speaking then.

"Thank goodness she listened. She would have caused another catastrophe." Another catastrophe? Before I could do anything, everything turned black as I fell into another abyss.

I opened my eyes once again, to be meet with nothing but darkness. There were a few stars illuminating the sky. Something then pulled me so fast, I couldn't process anything. The next moment, I knew I was in a much different place. This place was full of warm sunshine and many fluffy looking clouds.

I stepped on one of them, proving themselves to be solid. A figure then came into my view. This view was of an Angel? The Angel was wearing a white robe with red stains, unsuitable for one. Her hair was neatly packed as she ascended down towards me.

"Nice to meet you, my name is Serachiel. Angel of Peace. I take care of everything in your life and your other half of your body. Now listen here, you can't die. Please, once you die, the demon can resurrect you and cause another rampage. My powers won't be enough to help you." I slapped her hand away from me, with tears coming from my eyes.

"You guys shouldn't have taken me in the first place! You guys caused my parents to die! You guys caused me to go into depression! Everything was all your fault! You ruined my peaceful childhood with my parents! You shouldn't have possessed me in the first place!" I knelt down during my outburst, not wanting to accept that I cannot die. I reached for my ankle bracelet, the last sign of my parents.

"I just want to see my parents again, even that I cannot ask? This bracelet, was everything my parents have given before they died. You all ruined it." Serachiel then knelt down, holding my face.

"Look here, once your flame turns black, you'll let the demon take over the consciousness of your body. That will start the incident again. Do you really want to do it?" She made my flame appear, still the same white with black swirls. She did something which made the flame black and she made an image.

Red eyes, black claws, horns protruding out of her head and wings sprouting. The thing started killing and slashing everything in it's way. Then I saw the images of Walton, Lara, Layla and Raymond getting slashed.

"N-no! No more...! Please stop..." I cried over and over again for it to stop when she finally stopped. Serachiel's cold face made me stoned.

"Now do you see what would happen if you succumb to death?" I nodded, realising my responsibility to keep the balance of peace balanced. I was the most spoiled brat, only looking out for my own needs and wants.

"I may not be the best choice... I hope you would still accept me..." She nodded and took my hands into hers.

"There will be a lot of obstacles for you to face, but please for the Balance, don't give up." I nodded and she agreed to let me hear my parents. Serachiel then summoned the two of them in spirit form. I saw the figures and ran towards them.

"Lily..! Our dearest daughter! We're glad you're fine. But you have to believe Serachiel okay? She let's us communicate with you. We don't have a lot of time since Serachiel is hosting the two of us, but do your best! You'll always be mine and Papa's most beautiful flower." They both gave me a kiss on the cheek before fading off.

"Thank you Serachiel... I will do my best.." She nodded and gave me a hug.

"Remember, the stage is set for you. It's your choice to be the Messiah or the Destroyer."
