Chapter 3: An Accident

Suddenly the bandits took a sharp turn to their left, taking a restricted path that leads to the forest area of the city.

"The bandits just took a restricted path leading to the forest, how long is backup gonna take cause am so fed up"; Raiden said to the command Centre.

"Not long, backup will be there soon"; Came their reply.

"Damn this, they've been saying this bull crap since"; Raiden said angrily.

TUM--------- TUM

Shots and abilities were continuously fired by both parties to each aiming to end the other.

Their cars were in a pretty bad shape now, with some parts missing making it look like a car that was picked from the junk yard

"Fuck, you guys have to do something fast am out of energy so I can't sustain the energy field any more, and you know the implications, we'll be doomed!!"; The bandit girl controlling the energy field screamed out to her partners.

"C'mon it's not like we are playing here okay"; Another of the bandits replied her angrily.

They were so trying to take their opponent down that they couldn't notice something falling down to their location from the sky

It looked fiery red with crimson interlining round

Like a hot meteor it flew no flew is not the right word to use because it was literally falling down at an insane speed like a meteor.

"Hey look at the sky, what the hell is t...…."; Raiden was about to say after seeing something like a bright light beam moving to their location but he was a tad bit too late...

--CRASH------BOOOOOOOOOMMMMM

It crashed down like a meteor in between the both pursuers vehicles throwing and flinging both to various locations and creating a massive crater big enough to fit in two t. rex dinosaurs.

The whole area was clouded with dust so thick that you couldn't see through it.

-Coughs-...." ugh, aaah..."; coughs continuously, blood slashes from mouth

Darkness

Thick darkness which was later followed by pain, extreme pain

I tried to open my eyes but It was hard at first

I thought I was dead but then if I was dead I wouldn't be feeling pain, right? I thought

Finally, my sight was restored and met a gruesome sight that shook me to my spine.

Ryley was obviously dead, a thick tree branch was stuck to his head piercing it straight in from the front and bursting out from the back of the head bringing out a lot of brain particles. His right was chopped off completely. His eyes were popped out from their sockets and he was all bloody.

Looking away I tried to bring myself out if the car though the pain was extreme but I have to hurry out cause the car was about to blow it was heating up

I managed to crawl out of the car and damn the pain was so damn much that I felt like crying.

My body was a total mess, broken spine and one of my leg was chopped off, I was all bloody

And I wondered how I was still alive

I met a found myself inside a massive crater and from the look of things I was the only one alive…

I tried to ascertain myself and understand my environment but that was when I saw something fast moving towards me. It looked flamish crimson and red, it was rushing towards me. It got close to me in a second and flew to my chest entering my system and I was burning from inside and…. And......…

-----BLACKOUT------

White, that was all I could see when my eyes opened again.

The place was too bright that I had to close my eyes and blink many times before it could adjust but still I couldn't understand where I was in.

And then I saw some men and women whom I couldn't really understand but they were making some kind of weird faces and looking at me strangely.

I felt like I was been rolled and the strange men on white which I now understood to be doctors brought out some tools and were working on me.

Everything was blurry and fuzzy.

Tried to move but I couldn't and then.........….

------BLACKOUT------------

When I opened my eyes for the up tenth time I saw myself in a room, more like a hospital ward room

Sime drips were fixed to my body and there was this continuous beeping sound which I think was calculating my heartbeat.

I looked around the room and it looked well and furnished with adequate hospital equipment's.

I was still taking in the rooms look when the door opened and a light skin nurse on white walked in.

"looks like you are finally awake, for a moment we thought we've lost you"; she said to me

And without waiting for a reply she started checking my body and taking note on a mobile tablet.

"Excuse me nurse, please how long have I been unconscious?"; I asked the nurse

"Ughm… say 2…3…4… yes, 4 weeks"' came her reply.

"What!!!!, 4, what? "Raiden exclaimed in shock.

"Yes, you've been unconscious for 4 weeks now"; she replied without mincing her words; "your case was kind of critical, had it been you didn't wake up today we would have thought you wouldn't wake up again and be in an unconscious state forever"; She continued

"Goodness, so it was this serious"; Raiden said out loud to nobody in particular.

"how about my wi…..."; he was cut short as the door opened and a blonde hair pretty female stepped in hurriedly.

He looked and it was his wife Silva.
