CHAPTER THREE

Inside the airplane,"Please sit with Li Cola,Li Cherry has already fallen asleep so she should stay with me"Li Yanshu said with pleading eyes to Mu Ze who gritted his teeth,then flashed a smile.

"Of course, anything for you"he said and sat beside Li Cola"But Mama,i don't want to sit next to him"Li Yanshu rubbed her temples in exasperation.

"Li Cola, you'll sit with Uncle Ze like a good little boy,okay?"she said with a threatening smile.

Li Cola knows when to stop bugging his mother,he zipped his mouth and unwillingly sat beside Mu Ze.

"The plane is about to take off, please be sitted and turn off all phones. Thank you"A voice rang in the airplane and few seconds after,the plane took off.

Hours later,the plane landed on City D airport. Li Yanshu held her two children's arm as she walked out with Mu Ze at the back.

Just as her right foot reached the floor, balloons of different colors suddenly fell down,then there was trumpets all over playing a catchy melody.

Confused just like her children,Li Yanshu frowned"what's goi..."she didn't finish her statement when Mu Ze appeared in her front and knelt on one foot.

The trumpet seized as everybody anticipated what's going to happen next. Li Cherry who could not hold on any longer spoke up"Mama, what's Uncle going?,did he offend you?"In her own point of view, it's only when one offended another did the person kneel down so it meant that Mu Ze offended her mother which was why he was kneeling down.

Only Li Cola and Li Yanshu understand what this meant,Li Yanshu could hear her over palpitating heartbeat and could feel her breath hitching up.

"Shushu,ever since i met you five years back, you've made me feel like a real man. Yes, i was a playboy in the past and have done so terrible things but you held me and accepted me..."The rest went pass her left ear and flew by her right ear until she heard"Will you marry me?".

She was prepared for this...

No,she wasn't...

She wasn't in love with him...

But he was willing to accept her with her two children...

What the heck,she would accept him only because of her children.

She plastered a smile on her face"I will"the trumpet resumed and so did the cheering of the crowds.

Mu Ze fixed the ring on her ring finger,he then stood up and hugged her so tightly.

Li Cherry tugged her mother's gown and said with a shy voice"Mama,have you forgiven Uncle yet?,i don't like how they're looking at me"she said insecurely.

She was a beautiful little girl,so cute and innocent, so it's natural for people to admire her but the look on their faces makes it look like they wanted to kidnap her and eat her. She was getting scared.

Meanwhile,Li Cola rolled his eyes"When you're done,can we get going?"he said irritated by the public display of affection by them.

Mu Ze sent him a mocking smile just like the one the little kid showed him on their way to the airport,Li Cola clenched his baby fists in anger.

After everything has been settled,Mu Ze decided to take Li Yanshu and the twins to his family home just to introduce his soon to be wife to them.

He couldn't wait to see the look of surprise and disbelief on their faces when he tells them of the news.

Mu Ze called a cab and told him their address,for some reason he could feel that Li Yanshu was not herself,she seems nervous all of a sudden.

To comfort her,he placed his palm on his shaking one but Li Yanshu wasn't the least comforted,she was instead feeling more anxious and agitated,she wanted to remove her hand from his slowly but his grip was hard.

A little boy at the back of them sneered wondering what his mother saw in such a man, only he saw through this so called changed man but it seems his mother was blinded by 'love'.

The cab dropped them in front of a gigantic sized mansion,in the shades of white and grey,the statues gave it a mystical atmosphere. Even Li Cola was amazed,his bewildered expression was so cute that even his mother got mesmerized.

However,Li Yanshu was astonished for a slight,she also knew that she had seen and been here many times but that couldn't not diminish the feeling of surprise when she comes here.

Mu Ze suddenly felt proud seeing their faces"Shall we?"he said with slight cockiness in his voice, having broken out of his reverie,Li Cola said"Why proud when the house doesn't belong to you".

The smile on Mu Ze face cracked for a bit"Don't show care to what he said, he's just a kid"Li Yanshu soft melodious voice rang in his ears,the smile on his face suddenly seem stilled as he led them into the house.
