CHAPTER TWO
Five years later.
"I want the ice cream mama"a girlish voice said,the girl had a cute and round face with large black eyes,quite similar to Li Yanshu's,the girl who looks around the age four had a dreamy look as she pointed to a ice cream shop at the other street.
"Ice cream is bad for your health and can give you cavities"The girl's mother say rubbing her hair.
"Mama is bad,i won't talk to you again"The girl's expression was cute as she crossed her arms over each other and faced the opposite direction.
A snort came by her side and a boy who had similar features between him and the girl said"Why do you still behave like a child?,ice cream can make you teeth black and dirty and nobody will play with you again. Do you want that?".
The girl's eyes widened when she heard that,she hugged her mother's clothes"Mama,ice cream is bad not you. Will you still play with me?"tears were welling up in her eyes as she talked.
Li Yanshu smiled,her son cares but he just doesn't know how to put his words.
She carried her daughter in her arms and said"Mama will always play with you"she then boop her daughter's nose which made her giggle.
Li Cola grunted"Mama,i also want you to carry me"he said with a pout.
"Alright"Li Yanshu smiled,she bent down to carry him with her free left arm. Now both her children were held in both arms.
Most parents would have dropped them down because of their weight but for Li Yanshu,she wished she could hold them forever.
She kissed their forehead"Am here, let's go"Li Yanshu and her children turned to see who talked and their eyes lit up.
Li Yanshu dropped her children on the floor,Li Cherry ran with her chubby legs to meet Uncle"Uncle, you're back"she said hugging Mu Ze who smiled and ruffled her hair"Of course,i wanted to meet my cute bunny".
"You're not our dad so stop pretending to"Li Cola mumbled loud enough for all of them to hear.
Mu Ze eyes darkened for a few seconds before he said"Let's get to the airport, okay?".
"Li Cola,behave yourself and soon you'll call him dad, okay?"Li Yanshu said,Li Cola snorted"I'll never call him dad except his sperm was part of what created me"he then entered the car.
His mother was immediately dumbfounded, where did he learn such words?.
'i'll never call him dad' his cold voice sounded in her ears and his words kept on echoing within her.
All this years,he still refuses to accept a new dad.
Still in a daze,she heard a horn and saw that everybody were all settled in and was waiting for her.
She got into the car and sat at the back seat.
Li Cherry sat in the front seat with Mu Ze while Li Cola sat with Li Yanshu at the back seat.

Few minutes later,they all alighted from the car and stopped at the entry to the airport,Mu Ze, out of thoughtfulness saw a ice cream truck and said to Li Cola and Li Cherry"Do you want ice cream?".
Li Cherry expression changed at once, she immediately became frightened and went to hug Li Yanshu"Mama,Uncle wants to buy me ice cream so that you won't play with me again"She was on the verge of tears as she tightly held the fabric of Li Yanshu gown.
Mu Ze heard a chuckle by his side and saw Li Cola laughing and showing him a mocking smile.
This brat!.
He squatted down upto Li Cherry's height"I'm not gonna buy you ice cream again,okay?".
Li Cherry blinked her teary eyes at him,her black pupils shining so brightly,she sniffed and said"Really?"her voice had become so soft that it could be called a whispher but Mu Ze was close enough to hear her.
"Really".
"Li Cherry,no more ice cream. So let's get going"Li Yanshu said carrying her off the floor.
She sniffed hugging her tighter,Li Yanshu walked in the front holding onto her daughter leaving Mu Ze and Li Cola in the back staring daggers at each other.
"You don't love Mama?"Although Li Cola asked,in his mind,he already knows the answer.
Mu Ze smiled,he made sure that Li Yanshu and Li Cherry were at the front away from hearing them before speaking.
His face turned to nonchalance as he spoke"You're still a kid, you won't understand the affairs of the heart"Li Cola sneered"As if you have one. You don't think i know how you've gone out with different women and then come to our house pretending to be our step dad".
Mu Ze was shocked but before he could say anything else,Li Cola beat him to it"And if you dare do anything to hurt her, I'll tell her everything I've heard and seen and my mother will always believe her son over any stranger"He said emphasizing on the word 'stranger'.
"Why you!...You this brat,how could Li Yanshu give birth to an annoying imp like you"One could almost see the smokes steaming out of his ears.
Li Cola was happy that he could make Mu Ze angry"Mama, wait up"he then ran to catch up with his sister and mother.
