Chapter 6. Grilled fish.

Ace walked up to the gate and simply opened it.

He walked inside and found lots of fishmen having a feast. But no one seemed to notice that a human had walked in.

Ace walked through them but they seemed ignorant of his arrival, after all, who'd expect a human to walk inside of their camp.

"Then I shot her husband in the leg and threatened to kill him if she didn't follow my orders, best part, after I defiled her, I still shot her husband in the head gzahahahah, you should've seen her face."

"We found some good stuff this time, look at this case. A brat was protecting it with his life saying that it was a family herloom, the only thing he has left of his parents."

"I didn't get anything, Just the look of fear on their faces as they cried for mercy made the trip worth it!"

Ace heard different dialogues as he walked past them, until someone accidentally bumped into Ace.

"Ah sorry bout tha... huh, who are you, Ah! A HUMAN!" The fishman suddenly shouted.

The lovely camp suddenly still and everyone turned towards Ace.

"Hahaha, one of them found their way here, now we have even better entertainment for tonight." One said happily.

Looking around, Ace found a fishman that looked like a shark with a saw for a nose, which he assumed was Arlong.

"I am just a weak human, I'll die if you play with me, is there anyone that can save me from this situation." Ace shouted while looking down, his hat hiding his facial expression.

Silence took over.

"Phahaha, sure, come here and I'll save you!" A fishman said in a mock voice.

"I see, there is no one here worth redeeming." Ace said, he remembered that amongst the Arlong pirates, there was one fishman that was supposedly good, but he doesn't remember who.

And seing that no one spoke up for him, he didn't care if that person would later become good or not, at this moment, Ace would show them the future flame emperor.

Suddenly a powerful force of Haki erupted from Ace and enveloped the whole of Arlong park, making all of them pass out except for Arlong.

"HAKI!" Arlong shouted. His easygoing attitude had disappeared and he stood up looking very tense.

"What are you doing in these seas!" Arlong asked, almost offended. The Conqueror's Haki hadn't touched Arlong, which made him realise that the person that had walked inside his camp had great control over his Haki.

Someone of this level wasn't supposed to be sailing the weakest seas. They were all renowned, powerful people.

Yet, infront of him stood a young man, looking to be in his teens and showcased a fine control over his Conqueror's Haki.

Arlong realised that he might die if he's not careful.

"WAIT DONT KILL HIM, LET ME TAKE CARE OF IT, HUH??!" Suddenly, NAMI ran through the gates, looking worried, but she stopped in her tracks as she realised that the scene she imagined was just that, imagination.

All the fishmen were on the ground as if they had seen a monster and passed out.

When she neared the gates she heard Ace shout for help, so she thought that he was in a dire situation, but looking around she felt confused.

"Nami.... did you bring him here." Arlong said in obvious anger, yet he couldn't speak more as Ace started walking towards Arlong, not sparing him a moment.

"Ace be careful, he is stronger than you think." Nami shouted, but her words made Arlong even more angry, he understood the difference between himself and someone that could control Haki at that level. Those people had pride, and Nami's words might anger this "Ace" fella, which might end up with Arlong dying.

"I am Along, please allow me to welcome you to..." he couldn't finish his words as flames started erupting from Ace.

The flames spun around as if it was a vortex, spinning around and swallowing the whole of Arlong park.

Nami got a fright but she soon realised that the flames weren't hurting her, they felt slightly hot but that was it. She couldn't see anything as there were gigantic flames everywhere.

Arlong felt the flames burn away his skin, muscles and then he died, but the flames didn't stop, within a few seconds, arlong had turned into ashes, not a single bone left.

Soon, the flames receded and Nami found the whole place burnt down, not a single body was left, and Ace stood where Arlong had previously stood.

Looking around, Nami couldn't help but to fall to her knees and cry.

"WAAAAH It's finally over" She cried.

Ace simply walked toward her and put his hat over her head.

"It's been raining a lot recently." Ace said as he turned around, letting her weep.

After a minute or so, he felt a hug from behind.

"Thank you." Nami said.

"Anything for my nakama." Ace said with a slight smile.

This time, Nami didn't respond. Instead she slumped down again and cried, in relief mostly.

Ace turned around towards her and put a hand on her head to comfort her.

At this moment he heard lots of footsteps and found all the villagers had come here with tools on their hands. They walked over the fallen walls and saw that everything had been burnt.

They had originally seen a huge vortex of fire in the area of Arlong park and assumed that Arlong park was being attacked, so they decided to revolt against Arlong and they hurriedly came together.

When they reached Arlong park they found that most of the wall had fallen over and as they reach inside they found that everything had been burnt down, and in the middle of it, they found a young, strtong looking man with his hand ontop of Nami's head, she was on her knees crying.

They got afraid, thinking that he was about to kill her for being a member of the Arlong pirates.

"WAIT, SHE IS INNOCENT, SHE WAS FORCED BY THEM TO BECOME A PIRATE, PLEASE SPARE HER." A purple haired woman ran forward, hoping to save Nami.

She was followed by a middle aged man with scars and a mustache. He had a hat with a pinwheel on it. He wore a police-like uniform.

"Huh, why would I hurt Nami, she's my friend." Ace said in confusion.

"Huh?!" The two stopped in their tracks looking confused.

"Young man, I am the sheriff of Cocoyasi village, Genzo, did you see what happened here?" The man with the pinwheel on his hat asked.

At first Genzo thought that Ace was the one that destroyed Arlong park and was about to kill Nami, but his words made him think othersise.

"I destroyed Arlong pirates then you guys came here." Ace said confused.

"Nami!" The purple haired young woman said as she hugged Nami.

"Thank you for saving us young man, might I ask who you are?" Genzo asked thinking that the young man must be someone well known if he is this capable.

"Captain of the flaming pirates, Ace!" Ace said nonchalantly.

When the villagers heard that he is a pirate they all tensed up and readied their weapons.

"He is a friend!" Nami said as she saw their reaction.
