07.THE CHOCOLATE MAID LATTE

I arrived at "The Chocolate maid Latte". It is a maid theme latte shop.

They have different themes every month and the waitresses wear specially designed maid outfits.

We give our customers the experience of being treated like the ancient noblemen and ladies. The outfits are normally in black and white color gown. It is quite a famous shop and we have plenty of regular customers too.

I only work four days a week and that is from Tuesday to Friday. My shift is for three hours from 5 pm to 8 pm. I enjoy working here.

My smiling face attracts a lot of customers so I agreed on being the waitress.

I entered the shop through the back door.

I went to the ladies' room, wore my outfit, and an apron. I went to the kitchen.

I usually do the waitress job. But I am good at cooking too. Especially lattes and pastries.

So, upon my shop manager's request, I also prepare special recipes on Tuesdays.

Of course, I get paid for the extra works. But it really does not matter to me. Since I am only working here, out of passion.

I started working in order to make myself busy so that I won't have any time to feel lonely or overthink.

I have already befriended everyone here and Lila is the closest one to me here.

She is a fan of the superstar Viola who is none other than my mom. She only recently realized that I am Viola's daughter.

Lila comes to greet my mom occasionally when she returns home.

She usually comes to my house to plan for weekends and also stays overnight sometimes.

We are quite close because we have lots of common interests and we live close to each other. The main common interest is novels. We both love to read novels. That's how I spend my time when I am free.

Her house is just two blocks away from my home. So, we walk home together after our shift.

" Hey Tiara, you are a bit late today!" [Lila]

"Oh right! Sorry about that. I missed my metro so I was delayed."[Tiara]

The manager is a friendly person. She is still in her twenties.

She opened her own shop because of her creativity in hotel management. It was surely a success indeed.

"Tiara, hurry up and come here. Our regular customers are already here and they are asking for your pastries now. We can discuss the details later." [Tiara]

Yes, some of our regular customers are well aware of our shifts.

This shop only hires female workers and they are usually students. So, we get along with each other very well.

I went to prepare my famous delicacies. After preparing a few pastries and lattes, it was almost time to close the shop.

The shop closes at 8 pm since there are only female employees. I changed back into my dress and put the outfit in my locker at the ladies' room. I walked out of the latte with Lila.

"Lila, mom is back from Los Angeles. Do you want to have dinner with us tonight?"[Tiara]

Lila gleamed with her sparkling blue eyes.

"Omg is she back already? Of course, I want to go with you."[Lila]

I chuckled at her expression.

"Then how about sleeping over tonight. Inform your parents quickly now. We wouldn't want them to worry about you again, do we?"[Tiara]

Lila quickly called her parents and informed them. We got down the metro at our junction together. I bought the ingredients for dinner from a nearby supermarket.
