Chapter. 14. Helping hand.

The next day Aai during her break walked through the school grounds. She visited her usual place and even the terrace, she didn't find anyone. For few days she walked into the library but there too she didn't see her.

One day, when she was in her class reading, through the window she saw few girls laughing, walking out from a direction and after sometime she saw Belis coming out from the same way. She seemed weak. Seeing her Aai immediately got up but as she was about to walk away she stopped and got back to her seat, when she looking down, there was no one.

For few days there seemed to be rumors about lower grades.

Aai in her class was putting her head down, she heard girls talking,

: "You know few days before a girl was bullied by her own grade girls".

: "Yeah and nowadays our middle school girls befriend their seniors and harass the other girl.

: "God, our juniors sure are scarier than the seniors...".

Aai listening to that thought.....

Two days after, in the cafe,

As Aai was serving the customers, she saw Chub walking in.

She walked to him, "What are you doing here?"

He seemed to be worried about a thing.

Chub: "Aai!....actually I wanna talk to you".

Aai: "...". She looked around and was called by a customer.

Chub: "No worries I'll wait till you finish your work".

After finishing, as Chub walked Aai home he said,

: "Hey you might be knowing Belis right? She just transferred here this year. I know that she's not that good with people but this time it seems there something. She has locked herself in her room and even refused to eat anything".

Aai: " ...You are her brother right, why are you telling me this?".

Chub: "I tried talking to her but she just...You know, whenever she talked about her interactions with you she seemed to be happy. I think she might open up to you if you...-would you come home and try talking to her?....Aai please she's my only sis".

Aai know that deep down she might be knowing the answer and if she refused her conscious would keep pricking her, so she agreed to meet Belis.

The next day, in 'THE ARTHUR'S MANSION'.

Chub and Aai walked to Belis's room.

Chub: "Hey Belis, would you please come out?".

She shouted from her room, "Just Leave Me Alone!".

Chub: "She's like this since past few days".

Aai walked close to the door, knocked and said, "Hey, it's me!"

There was no sound from inside. Aai continued, "You see, your brother brought me here without even letting me eat anything. So could you.... come out so we can eat together?".

After a moment,

Chub: "Listen you can only eat after my sister starts eating, you heard that!" He said in loud voice.

When he looked at Aai, she was looking at her.

Chub: "What?".

Aai: "...Seriously! That wasn't needed".

Chub embarrassed by his acting just cleared his throat.

As there heard no sound coming, Aai sighed and whispered to Chub.

Aai: "I would like to leave now!"saying she made some footstep sound. Then Chub shouted, "HEY AAI!!".

The door suddenly unlocked and Belis ran out. She saw Chub and Aai just standing in front. Belis looked at Aai hugged her and began crying.

Aai: "...." She didn't know what to do.

Belis: "...Sniff Senior...."

Aai: "...hmm could you stop coming at me like that" saying she just patted Belis's back.

After calming down Belis was given to eat in the dinning while Aai and Chub sat in the living room.
