There were many reasons, many strong and big ones which led Renna Amaryllis to leave him.
The lady was mentally zoned out when Cara held her by shoulder and jerked slightly, while Mr Morris could sense and by now he had judged Renna keenly.
Observant old man knew that whatever Renna was thinking held some deep effect on her life and heart, because the young lady was not an easy target to hurt at all.
"Come on, move young lady! You are slacking!"
Cara walked upto her husband and chirped behind loudly to Renna, who continued to see the old lady taking in the little kid.
Renna smiled, unknown to her that she had gotten soft in that interminable moment and that was when the mysterious trailing couple got stunned!
Yes, stunned.
The couple which was following Renna Amaryllis in shorts by keeping a distance though, were none other than her own men!
The couple in their forties, wearing shorts and floral t shirts, were not really unarmed. The man had an odd combination of long boots despite there was trace of rain approaching.
What do you expect from him, hidden in those boots? Of course, guns! Loaded with bullets, Renna's skillfully trained men did not require more than six bullets.
The young heiress had already trained her men for any type of combat, they were skilled enough to defend themselves and their master against any danger.
The lady with that man who had a creepy yet forced smile on his, wearing a floral long dress had guns and sharp blades under the hem tied with guns.
She was a skilled warrior among the squad to access the weaponry under the long dress was not a big deal for her. The tricky woman had torn apart the inner of pockets, as expected.
Renna Amaryllis had already planted her people in every corner of the New York city, a few as city dwellers, workers and with various professions in case she needed back up.
The game of her kind of chess had already began, way before the young lady arrived to the country!
Renna finally heaved a sigh of relief and glanced back at the mysterious duo, who was chattering with each other as not to arouse suspicion.
Anyone who was residing there in the area would have known that the couple used to dawdle around after lunch time. After all, Renna Amaryllis strictly instructed her men to mingle with the commoners.
No one would have imagined even in their worst nightmare that those two belonged to a powerful anti mafia force. On the top of that which was led by a woman, in her late twenties!
"Yes, coming!"
Renna was about to turn around when in the sensation of emotional wave, she did not see the cart coming into their way.
An old man was pushing his cart full of redish apples quite big which could be held in a fist, he was wearing a tattered cream coloured robe covered in dust, the man was hardly pushing.
Drenched in sweat his grip loosened around the handle and he fell, the cart got out of his hands and began to move in the middle of the lane.
The protecting couple geared up their loins to jump in front of their master but Renna glared at them, which was a gesture to halt in their positions.
Can you comprehend why she preferred to come under the cart, which was rolling towards her?
"Watch out Renna!"
Mr Morris shouted on the top of his lungs but what was supposed to be done, the distance between the cart and Renna Amaryllis was not that much.
Only because of little sloppy road the cart approached her with some acceleration.
The lady intentionally bumped into the cart and fell on her right arm, scratching the upper skin while the cart was stopped by other people around.
The shopkeepers nearby watching came to help her, the old woman from the bakery came close along with Cara to check. Both the ladies slipped their one shoulder under Renna's and lifted her with strength.
"Are you alright, honey?"
Cara voiced out her worry, and same question was proposed by the bakery lady. Though her voice was shrill but sweetness was in her way how she questioned.
"Y- yes, I'm fine."
Renna replied while she stood up, it was the moment when the cart owner approached her running towards their direction.
"I- I am sorry! Are you alright? The cart just slipped...ahh....did I hurt you?"
The old man's tone held a sincere apologetic tone which could fool anyone, but not Renna Amaryllis.
"Uh? Oh no, sire. Don't be apologetic it is not your fault, you did not do it intentionally. I'm doing good."
Renna waved her hand which assured everyone that she was fine apparently, except that little scratch on her upper arm.
The man stretched his hand out and held hers, while he slipped a small note in her palm.
"Ah! I'm sorry again, I needed to be careful. I'm sorry."
