Magicals

"So, how about me and the Adventurer's camp?"

Yvonne was feeling more excited about what the old man was saying, which he noticed, but didn't know whether to be worried or happy about it.

"Now aren't you the impatient one for one who has control of time?" He chuckled.

"Well then, where to start?

The lots of all supernaturals and humans without any supernatural abilities are called magicals combined. They are included for the reason being they tend to adapt to their rivals' powers. People without supernatural abilities tend to be able to make very powerful objects and tools, like a gas poison that could only kill a magician, or a blade to kill…your likes, mirages."

Yvonne hummed. She had given the thin dagger the fennel used to stab her to Moirai for safe keeping.

"All these sound like what those alchemy guys would do."

"Admittedly." The old man got up from the bench, and beaconed Yvonne to follow him.

They walked along a path in the thick brush behind, until they reached an old statue. The statue had moss and algae growing around it's edges and some of its surface. It was the statue of a man wearing a glasses and holding what looked like a test tube.

"My mother told me this man here was a great alchemist back in the day. He actually originally owned this place, hidden from the world."

Yvonne had a wow look written all over her face. "What happened to him?" She turned to the old man and asked.

"Greed!"

"Oh…" Yvonne turned back to look at the statue. She looked at it, trying to get something from it.

"Sometimes when humans without powers, or just humans as I like to call them, collaborate with a supernatural to concoct something, it's mostly never good. My mother told me back in the day humans were quite the hated bunch, and started numerous wars. Now-a-days they all just live happy go lucky lives, in blissful ignorance if what happened in the past. In truth though Yvonne, I don't actually what happened in that past."

There was a brief quiet after master Gabi finished talking, with Yvonne wondering how the normal world she knew could possibly be so wrong. It just wasn't sounding right anymore.

"But you do know my family's…human, I was just an ordinary human until I could bend time and it was infact a supernatural cunt…two infact that kick-started these events for me. Yeah. Twas two supernaturals who bombed my home city two years ago during new year's eve. How would you describe that eh?"

The old man stared into Yvonne's manic filled eyes with a face without expression, safe for his wrinkles.

"Guess I really am feeding you with a serving spoon instead of a teaspoon. I'm apologize if something came out wrong, you yourself have had your unfair share of the true realities of this world, of the universe. Can I continue?"

Yvonne calmed down a little. She herself felt she sounded disrespectful.

"I'm sorry too."

"No. It was me who triggered you. Let's sit at the base of the statue. My legs ache."
