"Hope" I sighed thinking about it

Is there really such hope? Nein… There is none… There will be no hope… We cannot save everyone… I can only pray for their souls in the afterlife.. If such thing existed…

"Ah. God! Why are you doing this… What are you trying to make us do?" I shouted in despair.

"God… Please help us. Save our sinful souls. May our rest be eternal…" I bowed in front of the altar

"Ahh…" I groaned "Why are we suffering oh god!"

"Ahhh! Quit your yapping old man" a man in silver helm shouted

"Rider…? What are you doing here?"

He sat down on one of the benches and relaxed his back

"Assassin betrayed us" he said calmly as if he already expected it.

"So you were right all along"

He smiled "Of course! I am always right!" he laughed loudly like a crazy person. His laugh echoed across the halls and pillars of the church

He pointed at his head using his fingers and smiled "I am the greatest explorer! I am the greatest navigator! I have many crews under my fleet… And I know the eyes of a traitor"

"I see… is that all you want to say?" I asked "If you are done then you can leave"

"Woah there, Master"

"What is it?"

"Are you just gonna pray to you god there?" he asked

"You are asking that like you are not a believer yourself"

"I do believe in him" he nodded his head "Without the blessing of God almighty I won't be the greatest explorer"

"So? What is your problem with me praying?"

"Hehe…HAHAHAHAHA" he laughed loudly again "Ah! I wish the people of that island was a devout believer like you"

"If they were a devout believer then you wouldn't have died in the shores and your body as a war trophy"

"WE HAVE GUNS! WE HAVE THE ADVANTAGE AGAINST THEIR WEAPONS AND ARMORS!!!"

"But you were outnumbered"

"Tch" he clicked his tongue "That is why I want to fight him"

"You will get what you want" I replied

"Of course I will… I won't let anyone stand in my way… not even Spain can stop me… I will make sure. God will help me win this time"

He left the room immediately after uttering those words

"A final battle is nigh. What will be your final judgment…"
