Tea Talks

Alexis' POV

I was watching wizards of Waverly Place when Jarvis told me that it was time for breakfast. I snapped some socks on but they were both different lengths and different colors. I sighed and shrugged it off. This better be a 24 hour thing. I grabbed a thin blanket and wrapped it around myself.

Before I left the room I caught a glimpse out my window. I see a the rubble of a building I have only seen in my universe. "Jarvis?"

"Yes Alex?"

"Can you do a private search for me?"

"Yes I can"

"Ok. . . Um can you give me the location on someone? If it makes it easier they lived in that penthouse right there. Where all the rubble is. Her name is Kate Bishop. She is probably like 5 years old. I need you to send me her temporary location."

I grab my phone as soon as it ding, and left to the kitchen.

I meant to summon a yellow blanket but it turned into a blue blanket. I payed no attention to it and just walk to the living room where, I hear bruce, Steve and Natasha watching the news. "Good morning alexis." "Some what good morning to yall."

I walk pass by them and walk into the kitchen half of the large room. Tony and pepper are whispering something to each other. Im guessing it's about me or they are flirting. Tony hears me come into the area and they both turn to see who it was. "Pepper meet the kid, kid I'm guessing you know who she is already." Pepper smiles and puts out her hand for me to shake it. "Good morning, I'm pepper."

I give her tired smile and shake her hand, "good morning, um im alexis. " She smiles and nods. "yeah i heard you where sick, and i didn't know what kids your age like to eat, so i made you a bowl of oatmeal with bananas." she slides the bowl to me and I give her a small thank you. I eat a spoonful of oatmeal and banana, i don't really like oatmeal and she doesn't know that i only trust a handful of people to make me homemade foods, so I'm polite and smile at her. she nods in excitement and leaves the kitchen. tony was standing there the whole time drinking his coffee and watching my awkward interaction with pepper.

"you're not really a people person, are you? because that was hard to watch. " i shake my head, "nope, but people naturally tend to be attracted to me." i eat some more of the oatmeal, "what like a magnet?"

"eh, sorta. it sorta runs in the women from my mom's side. Like once i was in my business information class doing my computer work and random girl who only came to the class like twice sat next me and basicly told me her life story to her darkest secrets. only listened as she talked to me, occasionally asking about small details." tony stares at me in awe, "did you ever talk to her again?" I shook my head again, "nope, by the end of that class period we never spoke again and after about a month she never came back to the class. I'm guessing she either graduated early or dropped out."

"does that happen alot or is it a one time sorta deal? if so don't let fury hear about it, he'll want you out with natasha and clint." l shrugged, "i wouldn't mind being out on missions, but as long as they are like undercover missions. i think i would be good at that." i press my forehead on the cold counter, "do you have ginger and cinnamon?" "yeah, i think pepper came back with groceries, why?"

"my head and throat hurts, I'm going to make tea my mom makes me when I'm sick."

"do you want me to make it, I'm sure it can be easy to make." i cringe of people touching my food, but shrug the thought out of my head. "um, only if i watch you make it." he looks a bit confused, "why? its not like im going to mix ingredients up." "i hope not but, its kinda a peeve i have. i sorta need to watch people make my food, i only let certain people cook my food without me watching." he puts water in a teapot and lets it boil, while doing so i can basically hear his mind wondering why i have this peeve. "do you have a food allergy?" i use my magic to put my empty bowl in the sink. "yeah, I'm allergic to shellfish and most fish." "that must be rough when eating out." I open the fridge and grab the ginger with my magic but i sneezed accidentally slammed the door and almost dropped the ginger. "why do use you powers so much?" I place the ginger on a cutting board that he placed on the counter. "ummm I'm lazy and i like the feeling of the whisps, like little butterflies on my fingers." he hummed in response, and scraped the ginger skin with a spoon, i took out the cinnamon from the cabinet. tony took out the tea pot and put water in it and placed it on the stove. i put the cinnamon and tony put in the teapot.

while the tea was heating up, tony sat on one of the stools with his coffee, "how do you feel about school?" I shrugged, "i like it, i was good in school." he took a sip from his coffee, "well legally im now in charge of you, and fury wants you in school." i get excited, "wait does that mean we get to go school supplies shopping?"

"well yeah you sorta need that to go to school. why are you so excited for school supplies? kid, do you collect school supplies?"

"um sorta. . . i like to collect pens and journals."

"you're a weird kid."

"Well legally im your weird kid."

"touche."
