Chapter 197: We are getting married again.

" Clere, Come. Lets go ! " Jenny reached for her hand and left with her.

" Don't mind about her. She has become stubborn these days. " Juliana said with a thin smile.

" I think Clere has a point. " David made Juliana anxious when he said this.

" We divorced when she was only 8. It must have been hard for her to grow up without both of us. " He said.

Jenny pouted her lips. " Whenever we left the country, She would ask me when we are coming back to see you and Calcel. School is the only excuse I gave her . " He said.

" I am sorry. I never noticed that. " He said.

" This time round I will leave her with you. I think there she won't ask many questions. You, Calcel and Jenny will keep her company. " She said.

" Juliana..I think Clere is right. You come back to the mansion. " David declared.

Juliana was mesmerized to hear this but she couldn't just accept it. " We divorced, How can..."

" We can get married again.." David said.

Juliana couldn't believe what David said. "...I.. am..are..you serious about this ? " She asked in stammers. He heart was over whelmed with joy.

" For Clere's sake. Let's..." David was still talking when he felt Calcel hands moved and he turned to face him.

Juliana got off the bed and stood before him again.." Calcel.." David called.

Cancel slowly opened his eyes and the first person he saw was David.

" Father..." He called in a low murmur. He moved his head and saw a figure standing before him in blur so he forced himself to get up. David supported him by the shoulders to allow him sit and lean on the head board.

When his eyes fully opened he recognized Juliana and became angry. His face was very pale, his lips dry and he looked very weak.

" Calcel.." Juliana called after knowing that he was angry because of her.

" What are you doing here ? " Calcel asked and looked away from her.

" Calcel, Don't be mad. Your mother traveled the whole night just to come and see you. " David said.

" Who told you to come ? " Calcel asked looking up at Juliana.

" Your father called me. " She said.

" Since you have seen me. You can now go. " He said.

Juliana got up and said. " I know you are still angry with me. But...it's a relief and you are now fine. I will leave immediately .." Juliana said and turned to leave when David grabbed her hand.

Calcel was surprised by this. He looked at both of them with questions.

" Juliana and I have decided to get married again. " David declared.

" What ? How can you marry her again after what she did to you ? " Calcel argued.

" Calcel, Juliana is your mother. The person who is supposed to be mad with her is me. But...I forgave her. Can't you forgive her too ? " David asked.

" Father , You can't ! "

" You have no right to decide for me. Juliana is Clere's Mother and I am her father. Clere needs both of us . Don't you understand that ? ",David asked.

" I understand Father. And for Clere's sake, I can allow you two to get married. But I personally hasn't forgiven her for hurting you. " Calcel solemnly said and lied back on the bed with his back facing them.

Juliana looked at David in whammy. David was still holding her hand..

" Don't worry about him. He just needs time to think it over. For now you can leave. " David said to her.

" David..Thank you for forgiving me. " She says when he released her hand and after this she left the room.

David sighed and sat on the arm chair again.

" Calcel..She's gone. " He said and Calcel turned to face him.

" Did Clere come too ? ",Calcel asked.

",Yes. She was here while ago but Jenny took her away. " David said.

Calcel sat on the bed again. " Father, How is Alyssa ? " He questioned.

" She gained her consciousness last night. And she was actually here with you the whole night. " David said.

",Is she doing well , Didn't May hurt her ? " He asked with much concern that made David to smile.

" Look at you. You are all pale and weak and all you think about is Alyssa's condition ? " He asked and said. " She is very fine . May has been arrested. "

" That is good news. She is finally paying for her deeds. " He said.

" Yeah. I told you that God will punish all the wrong doers. ' .

They were talking when the door opened again and Clere entered.

" Calcel.." she called after seeing him on the bed and ran to hug him. David smiled when he saw his children like this.

After hugging Calcel cupped Clere's face and smiled at her.

" Brother, You look so pale. Have you recovered well ? " She asked.

" " Of course. I am now fine. " He said.

" I missed you so much. "

" I missed you too. "

Jenny too joined them with breakfast and put the dishes on the table besides the bed.

" You must be hungry. So we brought you something to eat. " She said.

Alyssa, Gladys and Robert went forward to Marvis' grave with flowers.

" My daughter, I am sorry for everything I did to you. If it wasn't for me , You couldn't have died like that. I am a very terrible father . i don't even deserve to come and see you here today. But I know that you are now in a more peaceful place and I know that you are very happy than how you were with me. Please continue to rest in peace. " He said.

Alyssa also stepped forward and said.." Marvis, I am sorry for what happened to you. If I had not gone with you that day, This wouldn't have happened. I am going to take care of father from today onwards. And...I am going to make sure that Derrick and Matt rot in jail. I am going to keep up with your name and make it known to the world. And, I will make all your dreams come true. " She said.

After they put their flowers on the grave stone and after they left.
