Chapter 9: Finally safe

The injured cub couldn't help it and roared even fiercer!, it wasn't that he was ungrateful or trying to commit suicide, but because it knew that if this continued the cave would undoubtedly collapse completely, forever berrying the both of them here.

With it's discerning eyes, it was able to tell that the caves entrance wasn't able to hold on much longer!, within a few breaths time, it would naturally collapse here sealing them both!!!.

with newfound determination, the injured cub couldn't hold it in anymore and abruptly applied pressure on its injured limbs, instantaneously a wave of unimaginable pain assaulted him completely causing him to almost fall back once more but with the thought of this unrelenting female cub he clenched his fangs tightly enduring it without a second thought, his once anxious eyes suddenly turned fierce!.

Rarrrr!!!!!"

he cried out once more towards the now stunned female cub before looking towards the caves door, his meaning was completely clear to the the other.Seeing him get back on his feet once more, the stunned cub was filled with unimaginable joy before she soon calmed down and followed his gaze towards the caves opening, even as stubborn as she was she knew now wasn't the time to celebrate but RUN!With her agile limbs the female cub ran towards the opening with the injured cub following suit, even with his nerve paining injuries the cub still persisted without any hesitation, his speed matching that of the female cub as the two of them speed forward with all their might!!!!.

RARRRRRRRR!!!!!!

They both cried out simultaneously as their adrenaline reached its peak, with unrelenting fighting spirits the two cubs charged forth resolutely under the collapsing debris!, The caves entrance slowly crumbled under their eyes as they charged forth!.

BOOM!!!!!

The cave finally collapsed once and for all but not before two little silhouettes leaped out in the nick of time, the female cub quickly stabilized herself with her front paws, slowly bringing her charging body to a halt, as for the injured cub, the moment he narrowly escaped from the caves treacherous jaws he finally gave in, with his little stature it was already stunning for him to be able to withstand all that nerve wrecking pain but the very moment he escaped from the cave, his little body went limb and forcefully crashed onto the ground, rolling a few feet before slowly coming to a stop in the 1 meter tall grass outside the cave.Rarr" The female cub cried anxiously before sprinting to his side as she quickly went to lick his wounds in panic, only after seeing the injured cubs reassuring gaze did she stop.

After glancing around a couple of times to make sure that the surroundings were safe, the injured cub finally calmed down.without so much as a warning his little body slumped down, as he slowly closed his eyes to take a breather.
