Chapter 23: Please don't harm him!!!

"Raarrrrrr(Get out of my way!!)" The golden lioness cub roared angrily at the encirclement of wolves, her enraged eyes still staring coldly towards the ever cold black wolf that slowly made her way towards where her friends body had brutally landed.

The more she tried escaping the encirclement, the more a sense of urgency rised within her as she watched the merciless black wolf who calmly made her way towards him.

"Grrrrrrr(Get out of my way!!!)"

Swish! Swish! Swish!

She swiftly sprinted about trying to elude the surrounding wolves while also looking for an opening to escape the encirclement.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

But her actions proved to be useless, for whenever she was close to leaving the encirclement, she'd be knocked back by several random paws.

"Karrch!..."

"Arrrgh..."

"Graaaa..."

In under less than a minute her little body was knocked back several times till the point that she was starting to feel light headed, her body covered with several rough marks and slight cuts that left a few little blood stains on her body.

Thump Thump Thump

Even though she felt dizzy while struggling to remain standing, her sharp ears were still able to pick up the sound of the black wolfs paws as she made her way towards the unmoving black lion cub, the closer she got the faster her heart rate sped up in panic, if there was still hope that the unmoving black lion cub was still alive, then that hope would ultimately be gone the moment she made her way towards him the golden lioness cub thought inwardly in a panic.

After her several failed attempts she found the thought of escaping the sentinel type wolves a fleeting dream!, no matter what she did, whether clawing or biting or even skimping in-between them, she found it impossible to elude all of them at once, maybe 3 or 2 of them would've been possible but over 7 of them was just to much for her current self to handle!.

"Raawwrr?....(is this were our paths are supposed to end....)" she muttered under her breath in melancholy, a hint of grief in-between. To her dismay her bright golden eyes already seemed to have lost their earlier glorious luster, now no dimmer than a lamp who's light was about to fade away...

"Kuahhh..." a wave of sadness suddenly choked her, her lips trembling while she gritted her teeth in unwillingness, her eyes soon moistened till the point of almost dripping tears as she gazed towards the black wolf who was finally upon the unmoving black lion cub.

"Rawwwwrrr!!!!!( Please don't do it!!!)"

"Raarrrrrrr( Don't kill him I beg you!!!)"

"Garrrrrrrr( Please I beg you don't do it!!!!!)"

"Rarrrrrrrrwwrrr( if it's prey your looking for I'll gladly risk my life to get you any prey you want!!!, so please, please do–)" She pleaded with bawling eyes while gazing towards the cold black wolf, her former air of superiority and pride completely forgotten as she plead for his life continuously only to suddenly stop when the black wolf turned to gaze in her direction.
