Snowy Hearts

Passing through the streets of Magnolia, John soon reached the plot of land under his name, he saw a small figure in front of the apartment.

When he got closer, he found out that this person is Cana, today she was wearing a cute white one-piece dress.

He got close to her and asked. "Good Morning, Cana, What brings you here?"

Cana smiled and said." I came here to see if you are in good health, after all, you just got discharged from the hospital."

"And I brought you breakfast in case you haven't eaten yet."

Saying that she took out her hand behind her back that was holding a bento box.

Noticing that she has her other hand still behind her back, John asked.

"What's on your other hand?"

She took out another smaller box and said." This is for Mr. Sebastian, a box of cookies."

Sebastian was surprised that there was also his share, but then his eyes collided with Cana's and he immediately understood.

In that split of a second when their eyes collided, a whole conversation was carried out through their eyes.

Sebastian took the box of cookies and headed upstairs while saying.

"I'll check the apartments upstairs, you guys can stay there and eat first."

"Okay." John nodded and pushed open the door to his apartment." Come in, Cana, Let's eat first."

While John was not looking, Cana put up a thumb up in Sebastian's direction. Then she went inside to eat with John.

John and Cana sat at the table, then put the bento box on the table and took out the cover, one layer for John and one layer for Cana.

The bento was divided into four sections, one section holds rice, one section is a row of tamagoyaki, one section is for miso soup, and one section is for an orange.

Cana took one tamagoyaki and held it in front of John and said. "Ah."

John was shocked, Cana was not like this, the Cana that he knew of is very pure and does not know the realms between man and woman.

So, someone must have taught her, but even with all these thoughts, John still opened his mouth and bit the food.

After eating the egg, he asked." Who taught you this Cana?"

Cana smiled as she answered. "The kind big sisters at Fairy hills taught me that... the fastest way to a man's heart was through his stomach."

While saying that she blushed lightly as she looked at John from time to time.

"You should not listen to them too much, with sincerity you can win a man's heart, here have some."

After saying that he took one tamagoyaki as well and put it in front of Cana.

Cana ate the egg in one bite while pretending to agree but she thought in her heart.

'With just one piece of advice from those big sisters and I can already spend time with you alone.'

'Then maybe with more advice from them and you would be falling head over heels for me?'

After thinking of that she clenched her fist in a cute way to solidify her determination.

John smiled looking at Cana clenching her fist thinking that she is determined to not listen to those big sisters.

They then continued to eat, while feeding the other person from time to time.

All of this was seen by Sebastian on the second floor of the apartment and all that he could say is.

"Like the flowers that bloom in spring, young love is delicate and beautiful, yet strong enough to endure any storm."

"It's really nice to be young and in love." He said with a smile.

Sebastian stood on the balcony, watching the snowflakes fall with a heavy heart. The peaceful white scene before him only accentuated the loneliness he felt deep inside.

He closed his eyes and let out a deep sigh, thinking of his master who has ascended long ago. "The snow falls gently, like a whisper in the night. And in the silence, I hear your voice calling out to me. I miss you, my master," he whispered to the winter wind.

The memories of their time together flashed in his mind. He remembered how his master had taught him everything he knew and how she had always been there for him, no matter what.

Sebastian's heart ached at the thought of his master being far away, but he knew that they would be reunited someday. Until then, he would continue to do his duty and guide her successor, even if it meant enduring the long and lonely winter nights.

As he watched the snowflakes fall, Sebastian whispered, "May the snow carry my love and longing to you, my dear master. And may it bring you safely back to me."
