19. The battle

After my conqueror awakening, every bandit fell down to the ground, except the boss who just flinched a little but now he had a panicky face.

"What did you do, bastard" he shouted but when I didn't answer after a few moments, he regained his composure. 'looks like he is an experienced fighter. It might be a little tough'

"Who or rather what are you? You are not a human, that's for sure?" I questioned while making a light sword in my right hand.

"You can find that, impressive. Fine I will let you witness my true form before I crush you with my own hands." and then his body started expanding, his skin turned into a grotesque green colour and wings started coming out of his back.

"Kekekeke, I am Rashkel, rejoice for witnessing my true form-ugggh" He was still transforming but of course, I was not stupid enough to just silently let him proceed. As soon as he started transforming, I could sense that he is at least S rank so what I needed was a surprise attack.

And what better time than this, so while he was transforming I rushed at him with my full speed and slashed downwards at his heart or core whatever he has, but at the last moment, he shifted a little and my slash ended up cutting off his entire left arm from the shoulder.

Swoosh~

"Aaaaahhhhhh, what is this vile energy. You little shit, that's light magic and such a strong one. Fuck I can't even regenerate." he roared in agony. I was now standing behind him with his arm in my hand.

He had fully transformed by now and I identified him as a demon. Since he is a demon, my light magic will be more effective against him. It will also cause him a very agonising pain on getting hit and even prevents him from regenerating.

"You will pay for your sins" I told him still seething in anger and crushed his arm with my hand coated in light magic. There was no explosion or spilling of blood, that arm just disintegrated completely.

I again rushed at him and continued slashing at him but he now blocked my attacks while covering himself in a dark and sinister energy. We kept going at each other for a 15 minutes. He had a lot of a lot of small cuts on his body by now and was missing one of his legs.

I could feel that the dark energy he was using can harm me, even if a little but I still had no wounds because I could predict his attacks with my future vision and made space in my body wherever his attack was going to hit.

But he didn't know that. "How can it be? How can my attacks have no effect on you?" He roared.

From his perspective, all his attacks were passing through my body and I could feel that he is close to a mental breakdown so I decided to end him before he does something drastic.

I dropped my sword and it disappeared in motes of light. I floated a few feet above the ground and formed a spear in my hand. I arched my hand while pouring about 30% of my magic and focused it into the tip of the spear.

"You bastard, I will kill you-kill you-KILL YOU" he shouted while looking at me with hate filled eyes and mana from the surrounding started gathering near his heart or core whatever it is but before he could gather much-

"Perish. And repent in hell. HOLY JUDGEMENT" I said with a solemn face and threw the spear towards his core. He could move a little to protect his vitals and I knew that.

So, I focused within myself and there was another conqueror flash that flinched him and he could not dodge in time. My spear pierced him and his body started disintegrating.

I floated near him and said " be a good person in your next life, if there is any" and he disappeared completely.
