11. Laxus

As soon as we got to the main floor, gramps jumped at the table and announced in a loud voice "We have new members" and gestured towards us.

I took the cue and said with a smile "Hi everyone, I am Elior and this is my little sister Erza. We look forward to working with you" and bowed a little with Erza bowing with me.

On seeing us, all the ladies' eyes started shining and they stared at us with an intense look. Their eyes were practically telling how much they wanted to pinch our cheeks. I even sensed someone looking at me with lustful eyes. 'What the fu- Oh my, she's a beauty. I wouldn't mind sleeping with her but Sigh, it's still a few years till I hit puberty, should still keep the option open. '

So I gave her a charming smile and she fainted with a 'kyaa!!! '.

What, don't judge me, I was a virgin in my past life, considering I was only 19 but still. I have no intention of keeping my virginity in this life too.

This was the women's reaction. As for the men, they were commenting something like "damn brat" "tch, good looking bastard".

Though, this didn't last for long as " What are you waiting for, IT'S TIME TO PARTY" gramps shouted at the top of his lungs and everyone started cheering. " OOOHHHHHAAAAA"

After some time, Erza got comfortable and left with the ladies. I approached the bar and ordered a glass of apple juice. The barmaid was a busty brunette with a pretty face.

"You are quite the charmer, aren't you? asked the brunette while pouring the juice into a glass.

"I aim to please" I gave an exaggerated bow. She served me my drink and giggled with a hand covering her mouth. I offered her my hand for a hand shake which she accepted.

"I am Elior. Nice to meet ya." I introduced myself and raised her hand near my lips and kissed her on the knuckles.

She raised her brows at my action but replied with a sweet smile "I am Makino". "It's a beautiful name, just like you" I complimented while still holding her hand.

She freed herself from my grip, raised both of her hands and pinched my cheeks " You should grow up a little before you start flirting" she commented to which I just replied innocently "I was just speaking the truth."

"Hahaha. Well, if that's the case then thank you" she said with a smile.

"H-hey, I am Laxus. It's nice to meet you" our conversation is interrupted when a shy blonde tapped me on the shoulders.

"The name's Elior, nice to meet you as well" I introduced myself when Makino questioned" What would you like to have Laxus" to which he replied " Same as him" while pointing at me.

"Thank you sister Makino" After she handed him his drink, she left to serve other people and it was only us left.

There was a weird silence for a few minutes which I broke because I was getting uncomfortable.

"Are you the grandkid gramps was talking about? "

"Oh, if you mean grandpa Makarov, then it should be me.... probably?" he answered in an unsure tone.

" Hahaha, why are you asking me? I am the new member, remember?" I said while laughing.

"What do you mean dude. I was just nervous" he raised his voice in embarrassment while I just continued laughing.

After that, the atmosphere got very cheerful and we kept conversing for a few hours. We went to the couch after a little while because it is more comfortable and sometime during our talk, Erza returned back and slept with her head on my lap and her legs spread out on the couch.

We got to know a lot about each other through our talk. He is a good kid and more mature than other kids back in the village so it was also fun for me.

Some other guys and gramps also joined us and started bragging about their achievements while drinking. All in all, it was a very good experience.
