Encounter With a Handsome Uncle (2)

It became a new routine for Feng Tianyi starting from that day. Whenever he arrived at the cafe in the morning, the two cute little buns were already in their spot, waiting for him to join them for breakfast. They said their mother always left before daybreak for work and they have no one around except for their Auntie Lu, who was looking after them while their Mommy wasn't around.

However, this morning, only the little girl arrived and that too after Feng Tianyi had arrived. He looked around to look for the boy, but he was nowhere to be found and there was a commotion that almost hurt the girl in his presence.

Little Star excitedly ran towards him and bumped into a woman who was carrying two tall cups of hot coffee. Feng Tianyi reacted fast and pulled the blanket on his lap and threw it over Little Star's head, horror written all over his face as he pulled the little girl into his arms and covered her from the splash of hot coffee that was about to hit them.

"Hiss…" Feng Tianyi sucked in a breath when he felt the spilled coffee on right arm as the cups tumbled right on his laptop with a big spill over his table and on the floor. However, he ignored his laptop and focused his attention on the child in his arms. He was afraid that Little Star would be hurt from it.

When it was over, Little Star peeked beneath the blanket and saw their handsome uncle in pain. She then saw the mess that she'd caused behind him.

"Are you blind?!" The woman yelled at Feng Tianyi and Little Star. "Who the hell allowed their kid to run around here! Look at what you've done!"

Feng Tianyu frowned and glared at the woman who was arrogantly pointing at Little Star. The girl in his arm trembled in fear and her eyes turned misty.

"Please don't blame the child. Don't scream at her. She didn't mean it." His lips pressed in a thin line.

The woman was so enraged that her face twisted in an ugly expression.

"Then look after your child!" She then gave Feng Tianyi a head to toe scan with a look of disgust. "You're already a cripple and you can't do one damn thing to look after a child?" She sneered.

Fang Tianyi's right eye immediately twitched. He wanted to correct her that this child wasn't his, but he was already annoyed and was having a hard time controlling his tongue in front of Little Star. If the girl wasn't listening and looking scared, he wouldn't have held himself back.

"Then what do you want?"

As if taking it on cue, the woman smirked evilly and rested a hand on her hips.

"I want compensation." She shamelessly announced.

"Compensation? Shouldn't we be the one who asks compensation from you, you old fatty whale?"

Right then, Xiao Bao's cold but soft voice reached their ears.

Everyone turned to look and saw Tang Feiyu dressed up in a child's suit with a man standing behind him in a stiff manner. Feng Tianyi arched a brow. He knew what this meant.

He had assumed that these little buns weren't just simple kids that took a liking on him. It was obvious from their clothes that they were living a good life that was out of the ordinary. Now, they showed up with a bodyguard.

Without looking around, the boy made his way towards them and checked for injuries. He then looked at Feng Tianyi and saw the small red patch on his arm. Tang Feiyu raised his head and glared at the woman. He seized her up and down.

The iciness in his eyes and voice wasn't lost to Feng Tianyi.

The woman snapped at Little Feiyu's glare and barked at him.

"Who are you? Don't you know kids like you shouldn't be talking like that to your elders?! Your mother must have not taught you well."

"If my mother knows what you've done to my sister, you would be praying to all deities for forgiveness. I finally understand now what she meant by retards pretending to be adults." Tang Feiyu said in an innocent tone that sent the woman's blood pressure to another level. He gave her a nonchalance glance before taking the hand of his sister, pulling her out of the gray blanket Feng Tianyi used to cover her.

"Are you alright, Little Star?" He asked in a gentle tone which made Feng Tianyi wonder where the vicious little boy went.

"I'm okay, Yu Gege. Uncle protected me from the spill," Little Star sniffed, slipped down from Feng Tianyi's laps, and held her brother's arm.

"And you? You wouldn't get any compensation, but I'll make sure my mother will press charges against you for trying to harm our Uncle and Little Star." He pointed a finger back at the woman and said with a commanding tone.

"W-what did you say?" The woman couldn't believe she was being berated by a four-year-old kid. She was so angry that her whole body was shaking from it. She raised a hand to slap Tang Feiyu which shocked the onlookers.

He was just a child. How painful it would be for him to be slapped by that woman.

Feng Tianyi's reflex made him pull the boy close to him, ready to protect him from the hit but even before the hand reached them, Xiao Bao's bodyguard had stepped forward and took the hold of her arm.

Xiao Bao's face darkened.

"What? You didn't understand me? It's not a sin to be ugly, but how can you also be so stupid? Looks like a con-woman like you can't even use her head. Didn't you think the CCTV cameras here had caught how you purposely obstructed my sister as she ran and how you tripped her with your foot?"

The woman's face suddenly blanched upon hearing his words. She was astonished by this revelation. She hadn't thought that someone would find out her scheme.

"I-I…"

Tang Feiyu then shifted his gaze to the laptop that was also a casualty in this farce.

"And you also ruined my Uncle's belongings, huh? You are one stupid woman." He added. "Uncle Su, can you please bring this woman to the police station and secure the evidence from the store manager? I hope this would teach her a lesson not to harm young girls and people with disabilities next time."

Feng Tianyi was left flabbergasted upon hearing Xiao Bao's words. He had a really poisonous tongue! Ah, wasn't he also like this when he was younger, before his accident happened?

Just what kind of parents did these cute little buns have for Tang Feiyu to have a temperament like this?

Feng Tianyi shook his head. It wasn't his place to question how their parents raised them. However, if what Xiao Bao said was true, then this vile woman was in deep trouble by trying to harm Little Star.

"If the police need a witness, I'm willing to volunteer," he told the twins' bodyguard.

Those who also witnessed the commotion followed his lead and extended their help to pin the woman for her crime. To think that this woman tried to hurt the little doll? Where on earth did she find the gall to hurt an innocent girl?

Once the crazy woman was taken away, Tang Feiyu turned his attention back on Feng Tianyu's arm.

"Uncle, you are hurt. Let's bring you to the hospital."
