Nereus and Ruth

"I already told you I don't want to be no king" Nereus exclaimed. "Not a king like them a kind of king you want to be" Hathor replied. Hathor finally rode them to a near by village. "There is some food with fruits in the carriage eat and gain strength the villagers would be approaching any moment from now so you can gain strength to confront them" Hathor explained. Nereus opened and saw some pork meat which was prohibited to Jews and acient Egypt at the time but he still eat it anyways. It was pork served with some maize porridge and beside him were some avocado fruits. "This looks so delicious Hathor, thank goodness you appeared don't know what would have happened" Nereus exclaimed. Nereus didn't get Hathor's response but wasn't really afraid because he knew nothing could harm Hathor he wasn't human. Nereus quickly finished up the food came out to check up on Hathor. "Hathor did his usual again leave without saying goodbye" Nereus complained as he turned his head around examining the place he was. A young woman about the age of Nereus appeared and asked him weather he was lost. "Yes I am can you help me please?" Nereus asked. The young damsel laughed as she replied "I don't even know you how do you expect me to help you what if you are a serial killer". "Come on you know a serial killer when you see one and a man who is just lost when you see one" Nereus exclaimed. "You are not yet a man you are a young man" the damsel jokingly replied. The young lady left Nereus smiling. "Thank you lord I got lost in the middle of no where and you sent me the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life to put a smile on my face" Nereus joked as he smiled. The lady burst into laughter. "I'm Ruth daughter of Kush and you" the lady introduced. "Nereus son of I never knew who my father was I'm bastard" Nereus replied.

"No you're not you are only what you believe and say you are talk isn't cheap" Ruth replied. "Come with me I'll take you somewhere you can lay your head for today" Ruth continued. "Why just for today can't I stay the same place till I get somewhere of my own" Nereus asked. "No because I live with my father the women of our village are only allowed to live their father's house on the condition she's entering into her husband's house" Ruth replied. "I guess I'll have to marry you then" Nereus answered in a flirty way. "We will see about that" Ruth replied. "I don't have a problem with where to stay that's my carriage back there very comfortable than most homes I'll be fine I just need food to eat " Nereus explained. "You own that? Who are you?" Ruth asked. "I want to know more" she continued. "You will but first let me drop you off at your home" Nereus replied. Nereus rode Ruth in the carriage home as she showed him the direction to her house. After Nereus had dropped Ruth off he began to search for a work he can do to be able to survive but couldn't go too far from his carriage with the fear it would get stolen it was the only home he had left. A grown man confronted him. "Nereus let's go back to the carriage" the man commanded. "Hathor you are full of suprises" Nereus exclaimed as he followed Hathor to the carriage. Hathor gave him a business plan of how he can earn a living from the use of his carriage. Hathor suggested they go see the king of the village and discuss the plan with him. After they discussed with the king he agreed to give them the permission to do the business in the village under the condition he pays ten percent of his earnings to him. They shook hands and the king sent the village announcer to announce the business to the villagers. Nereus business was growing well because he started small and charged little and as time went on he became established. Nereus later asked for Ruth's hand in marriage as he had his own house in the kingdom he. By that time Nereus was thirty years of age and was finally ready for his main mission.
