Try and Try Again

"Oh, there you are. I've been looking for you."

It was a pleasant surprise for Bob to find that Lavanuk suddenly perched on his head.

"Cluck!" she clucked and flapped her wings in happiness, she then removed her fedora.

Oddly enough, neither of them felt hunger.

During the chaos, Lavanuk took the opportunity and flew off from the Mother's gigantic head and landed on top of Bob's as he was thrown. She didn't panic at all because she also grew fond of the Mother's presence.

"You wanna come with me to fight this thing?" Bob inquired Lavanuk.

He was worried that Lavanuk's presence in this fight would be unnecessary. Putting the golem before them on fire would not yield the best effects because stones aren't vulnerable to fire.

"Cluck. Cluck cluck cluck," she replied. Her wings continued flapping about.

"Okay. You just sit still there, okay?" he said as he pats Lavanuk's tiny head.
