"Why me?" I cursed myself for the inevitable when I heard people envy me and the stares of jealousy fell on me.
Despite the envy of others, I was heartbroken. Shouldn't I be happy? I should be but... I know it's too late for me to regret it now. But I don't wanna end up going to the soul hall where I will be imprisoned for the rest of my life.

Her heart pounded in dissolution and her mind tried its best to come up with a solution but unfortunately, she had no choice other than to accept her defeat.
She stared at the glowing white crystal in her hand but her thoughts pondered on how to escape from this fate. She blamed God for showing no kindness to her. Her heartbeat raised when the words of envy invaded her ears.
She was standing in front of her peers who were showering their jealousy on her. They couldn't help but envy her, their jealousy rose like a tree that would have no limits but grow beyond the sky.
"My lady, may I please know your name" a calm, polite but a bit geriatric tone invaded Lily's ears.
She calmed herself a bit "Lily Gaoth" she bowed to the old man with respect.
***
I respect him. I won't lie about such a matter but I won't get away from my goal. Am I not allowed to live my life on my own? Can't I love to have a life with the freedom to choose what I love?
The place I would go to will be hell so I will try my everything not to go there.
***
She clenched her hands on her thighs and forced a smile on her lips when she resumed her standing position.
The old man saw those tightly fisted hands and smiled at her "My lady, you must have misunderstood"
"Ain't I the youngest here? Why should the stone of wind choose me?" she queried from the bottom of her disappointed heart.
The old man looked oddly at her but when he saw the single tear trying to drip off from the corner of her eyes "it choose you because you have the traits of its previous owner" he stated in with a calm yet clear tone.
She turned to her left facing away from the old man with wrinkles on his face while her face portrayed melancholy in her heart.
***
What a pity! here I think I can escape fate. Previous traits of its owner ha! I should laugh at myself for having high hopes.
Looks like I have made a joke at myself.
***
Her eyes unconsciously poured some tears but it was not visible to others. All they wondered was 'how lucky was she'.
No one discovered her silent cries and moans of pain. Her dazzling green eyes dimmed as if the light of her life turned off. Always the delighted girl who would often fool around with jokes while calling everyone 'senior' was now lifeless to the point where she could feel herself no more.
Her hands loosed the crystal she held in her hands. To anyone's surprise, it didn't fall to the ground instead it floated in the air and stayed where it was a moment ago. Realizing where her dumb luck had brought her, she sniffed and took back the pendant-sized crystal, and ran off the crowd.
***
I heard the voices of my peers around my age speaking about how lucky I am. But do they know how heartbroken I am? Her heart began to brood about how to overcome the strife.
***
She didn't even realize the tears dripping out of her eye. She pondered over something that is stopping her from being happy about everything that happened around her now. What will it be? No one, not even her seniors close to her know why she felt betrayed, much less her tears.
She ran in the corridors as fast as possible and when she reached a particular room she stood and thought for a minute. She got in only to see a young man looking at her.
***
I was speechless as my heart was throbbing rashly. He would tease me whenever he sees me in this state. No matter what, I have to convey the matters to him. But before I could voice he stood up from his seat and walked toward me.
His dark silvery eyes mesmerized me; my body felt warm, and my mouth gasped for air as he neared me and locked me in the locked doors behind me. Before even I could blurt anything I felt the hot sensation of his lips on mine.
I extended my arms to push him away but they betrayed me by embracing him and my legs sprang on their own and wrapped around his waist and my body submitted to him in no time. The initial thoughts disappeared out of nowhere; only his face and his actions filled my mind.
He gripped me gently on my rear and kissed me on my lips. The feeling of his lips is enough for me to be seduced but rather than deceiving me with his mesmerizing sweet words he always lit me up by action that I loved the most.
I forgot everything and started to follow his tempo. Rather than bashing my head to avoid the inevitable, I would gladly cherish the time I have with him.
He is mine. I belong to him. The ineludible fate made me whimper since the pain plagued my heart. But the moans I made because of him were very substantial and made me forget the whimper of the past.
After a few minutes of cuddling, I hugged and rested my chin on his shoulder. I sniffed and cried till I was out of tears. I cried to the fullest and then I feel nothing but the warm presence of the handsome man with me who held me in his embrace and still stayed calm to not let me feel weak.

Her mouth staggered and her words stuttered but before she could speak anything "I learned everything. I will find a way again" his deep voice calmed her. Her hopes were built again and her shattered dreams started to get restored.
