'Spiraling towers where evil Gods await. Dragons who fly through the heavens. Caves that only lead to Hell. Princesses that tempt heroes to settle down. A labyrinth you can never escape from. Vast riches, deep dungeons, waging wars, handsome men, beautiful women, magical animals, and secrets to be found.' The World has become a frozen wasteland, filled with powerful demonic beasts known as the Bestia Macht, monsters with souls so cold they freeze everything around them. Hero Law sets out on a long quest, joining an organization known as the Enforcers! Mighty warriors who wield superpowers known as the Equation! A fragment of the Sun that allows them to slay the Bestia Macht. Along the way, he meets several allies, such as Ken Red and Amon Nine. Together, the three of them might just be able to save the World... 'What do I want? Well, the destruction of everything you stand for sounds pretty fun!'
"So... Sure has been a while since you wrote for this novel huh?" Hero Law asked raising an eyebrow at the man who stood in front of him.
"Eh. I guess it has been." RainyLiquid2020 said giving a half shrug. "I've been busy with stuff though lolz."
"Gonna explain?" Hero asked.
RainyLiquid2020 let out a hum rubbing his chin. "Nah? I don't really feel like giving any big excuses as to why I haven't been here."
"Too bad. Explain bitch."
"No-" Hero kicked up with his leg slamming it in between RainyLiquid2020's legs, causing the poor, poor authors eyes to go wide as he dropped to his knees grabbing at his crotch. "W... Why did I write that?!?"
"Don't know. Now explain!" Hero demanded shoving his finger towards the man.
"I was just super, super busy with real life things! I mean the virus kicked up again, and then I went off to deal with real world issues, like work, family stuff, and also got into writing another book-"
"You're cheating on me!"
"-so it became hard to write for this random novel not a lot of people like or read. I mean I make zero money off of this... You really don't pay the bills Hero... Anyways I'm back now. I'm gonna try and post a chapter about once a week, and slowly get back to uploading more if I can. Hopefully we can get more fans! In other news my real-world novel is doing well. I just finished it, and now have an editor looking it over. I'll let everyone know when it's up on Amazon. I put all my heart and soul into it and spent a long time on it. I plan on writing for this story, and finishing it, and also finishing all my real-world novels. Thank you all for being patient with me also. It'll take me a few days to get my notes ready and remember where my plot line was going, so until that happens please enjoy this one off, non-canon chapter, while I get all my things sorted!"
"Question..."
"Yes Hero?"
"Am I gonna have a cool fight in this one shot?"
"I guess?"
"Nice. Well then what are we waiting for! The tale of the Black Heart is about the begin!" Hero announced pointing up to the sky above him. "Let's watch me kick some ass, and get powerful. After all this is the volume, I get the you know what!"
Spoilers!"

Night Three Hundred And Three
Age ???
Location: ???
In a small wooden room, that was nearly pitch black, two figures could be seen. The first was an old woman who rested in a wheelchair. She had long black hair with her normal silver streak, though now many flicks of grey ran along with it, and her eyes were a tired and dull silver. In the bed itself a much younger Lee rested.
The girl couldn't be older then eight years old.
This must have been a dream, or flicker into the past of Lee's life.
"Stay silent my dear." The older woman hushed gently shushing the young woman. "It'll be night soon. That is when they come out for the longest, I have found. We'll need to remain silent... With your Grandparents now all gone I fear that I am one of the last Enforcers around." The older Ken said.
"Enforcer?" Lee asked cocking her head up. "Whats that?"
Ken seemed to give a small smile. "The Enforcers were-" The old woman seemed to go silent all of a sudden as memories passed through her mind. She seemed to think about a lot in that moment. "The Enforcers were... My family of sorts."
"But they're gone now aren't they." A harsh voice sighed out. In the corner of the room with her arms crossed a much older Lee could be seen. The one of present day. The one who went to the past to stop all of this. She stood in the corner, the two memories not seeming to notice her. It was like she was a ghost. Not there. "My Gram-Gram, already told me about this trick. You can go ahead and stop with this. There is no need to try and fool me with illusions and memories of the past. Come on out foul devil."
"Devil!" An annoyed voice hissed out echoing from all around her. Everything in the room shattered apart into a hail of white liquid. Even Ken and the younger Lee faded away leaving the present Lee standing in a massive puddle of red liquid. She was in the Void.
"You're just as I've been told you are. An immature brat." She sighed turning around and rolling her sleeve up ready to begin a fight.
"Brat!" The voice seemed to take more offense at that then the devil bit. The red liquid rose up bubbling as Row Law stepped out of the red pond a large scowl on his face as he glared towards the woman. "Well... Here I was coming so we could have a nice lovely chat..."
"A chat?"
"Yeah." Row glared at her an aura slowly forming around him. "We need to talk."

Age 1992
Inside The Church
"Wow. Anyone else feel like we've been doing nothing for years?" Hero asked raising his eyebrow as he looked around.
"There he goes again..." Kitsune sighed.
It had been hours since they had been in the Church. Jackson hadn't returned. Neither had the man on the horse. It left just them waiting in their silence for anything to happen.
Light, and Ken had left, going to patrol the wall and ensure the village was safe. Shelly had left as well. Who knew what she was getting up to. Hero and Kitsune remained in the Church, Irene was there as well, holding her hands on Lee's head in an effort to break the girls fever. Maduite was still unconscious not moving, still within Lee's mind.
"So..." Kitsune hummed.
"So?"
"What do you think."
The words hung in the air for a moment as Hero shrugged. "I never know what to think. Honestly I just go with the flow now."
Kitsune snorted at that. "You still have the box right."
"The box?" Hero reached into the jacket of his Enforcer coat and found it. A black box. One he had received from Dawson nearly a year ago at this point. "This thing?" He shook it lightly. "Yeah this piece of junk that has never came in handy. Why do you ask."
"I just got curious was all."Kitsune snorted. "Actually..."
"Uh oh..."
"You wanna open it?"
Hero was silent for a few moments as he stared at the little black box. "I don't not want to open it... But I still feel we shouldn't go messing with it yet."
"Y... You two could be a little quieter." Irene grunted. "This thing is hard to cool off... Her fever is getting hotter by the second..."
"Yeah... You should focus." Hero pocketed the box and sighed. "I'm gonna go for a walk and cool my head off. Row has been silent. Somethings going on with the Void..."
"Want me to come." Kitsune offered.
"Nah." Hero shook his head making his way to the door. "Main Character stuff. I'll need you when it's time for the side characters to do stuff."
"F**k you."
"Ain't into yaoi."
Hero left the room before he could be blasted by the flames of the fox. He stepped out into the cold of the village and looked around. Shelly and the others were nowhere to be seen. With a sigh he made his way over to an alleyway.
"Sorry Kit but..." He reached into his jacket pulling out the box. "I don't think you'd be ready for this... Dawson said it was bad and should only be used in emergencies... A girl from the future is claiming undead monsters, are coming and that connection I feel from her is... Well I'd say this qualifies as an emergency. A big one at that..."
The fox was strong. More then that he had potential. More then even Hero would ever had. Kitsune was so much stronger then anyone gave him credit for.
It was because of that 'he' had to be the one to do this.
Kitsune was to valuable to the team.
Ever since Daughter had appeared he knew the balance within himself was messed up. His value was less... If this thing was dangerous Hero decided in that moment he would take the bullet.
"I hope I don't die from this..." And with a click Hero pressed the button on the box he had received all those years ago.
'Click...'

Meanwhile...
"So what did you want old man." Jackson asked with a frown.
He stood in the office of Father Darvin the old man breathing heavily. "Well sir..." Father Darvin continued to mount his horse even in doors, far to fat to even walk properly. "I have a bit of a problem."
"More? We came to deal with the Bestia Macht, then find out there is a Shadow, and then find out there is a girl from the future, and you still have issues?" Jackson folded his arms and nearly glared at the old man, bits of lightning sparking off of him. "I am Jackson Storm, heir to the Storm family, and Grandson of Master Storm, former leader of the Enforcers. Since we've gotten here so many things have gone wrong and I demand to know why."
"You are also now Jackson Aka husband to the Red Empress." Father Darvin said. "Need I remind you that my Village is not part of the Red Empire."
"And might I ask why."
"You may but don't expect an answer."
"Why does Lady Aka even put up with you." Jackson sighed.
"Her own husband calls her Aka?" A growl from the Vice Captain caused the Father to chuckle. "Enough. I merely jest. With the world too cold, it is hard to grow crops and yet where I live they grow easily. We donate them. Even the Empress is smart enough to see our value."
Jackson sighed folding his arms. "Very well. Now about this issue."
"Yes sir... See... It involves a Bestia Macht..."
"A Nest!" Jackson said alarmed.
Bestia Macht... The monster's of the world, created by God, to punish man for what they did, children of the King, the Squid, the Eater of World...
Baron, Viscount, Earl, Marques, Duke, and Prince...These monsters caused humanity to create the deadly virus of the shaodw, create the Equations, and even to this day study the beings made of pure Dark Matter. And this man claimed a Nest was the issue...
When hundreds of dust of dead Bestia Macht sits for hundreds of years, a Nest is formed and newer and stronger Beasts are created far more evil, and holding a grudge.
A Nest was something meant for Captains.
"Are you serious sir..."
"That I am. I do not joke."
Jackson frowned before letting out a sigh. "Very well." He turned about to leave but stopped. "Oh and... I know there is more to the story. Like what you're hiding. That girl Maudite... She's the Mate isn't she. Project Godslayers trigger."
The old man didn't say anything. He merely smiled as Jackson left.
"And so the pawn becomes a Knight."

Inside the Void...
"So is that the issue..." Row rubbed his chin as Lee explained everything. "You're really not Hero's kid from the future."
"No." Lee folded her arms sighing. "I'm his grandchild..."
"And Jacksons as well."
"Yes."
"Then your mom is..."
"It's complicated. My grandparents are Hero Law, Jackson Storm, Katrina Storm, and Lady Aka. my parents aren't to important I guess..."
"I get the gist of it now." Row walked towards her slowly and reached out. His hand phased through her as he grabbed ahold of something and pulled out. In his hands he held a small ball of darkness. "So this is the Shadow..."
"No... Well yes." Lee shrugged. "That one is a weak one. It can't infect people with Equations. I was sent to stop Hero, and Jackson to be infected."
"And now Hero won't leave till he stops it himself." Row crushes the shadow letting out a snort. "But if this is the weak one then..."
"The one that can infect them still exists." Lee nodded.
"I see... I get it now." Row rolled his eyes and folded his arms. "I'll help out. I wouldn't want the world to end or anything bad to happen to my body before I kill God. You heard that too right."
Before Lee could ask what the boy meant a second figure rose from the ground. Her eyes went wide when she saw Maudite. "You."
"Sup." Maudite smirked. "I've come to get you out of here." She turned from Lee and glanced at Row for a moment. "So... You're the one... Project Godslayer..."
Row didn't even have time to say anything as the two girls vanished both reawakening in the real world. He sighed staring out at the empty void. "It's grown quiet... I suppose I should check on the idiot..."
And just like that Row reappeared in Hero's mind...

Meanwhile...
On a cliff overlooking the village a lone figure stood. One with messy white and black hair, and mixed colored eyes.
"It reminds me the Lillian... I suppose this world had one too."
And with those words Hero Otoko stalked forward...
