Chapter 27 Rage and rage

" Haha, I am finally free. I am free of those annoying restraints of that bastard sage. My brothers and sisters can't stop me nor the celestial gods."

Red said viciously, looking at the sky with a grin that seemed to mock their incompetence. He was sealed by the ancient mage who guarded the realm with celestials because he was the most uncontrollable demon in existence. Although his other 4 siblings were powerful, they only acted in their territory while he enjoyed creating bloodshed everywhere. He wasn't a god of war or span of the abyss, but his mere actions caused a river of blood throughout history.

Therefore the ancient sage sealed him with the help of the gods, banning him from leaving the underground that was hidden in the steppe which later turned into the City of Sins.

He waited patiently for years and years to find a person who could perceive him and help him. The cult which he had created managed to recruit incredible people, leaving only the last piece which was the cleric.

" Well done, Homenheir. I shall give you what you desire after my feast."

He said, looking at Jocylee and Golla with amusement. Despite his weakness he was a primordial demon that was born from the first creation of this planet and bred through the eons to become a perfect machine and a cancer to the planet. His will of destruction enraged the ancient gods and celestial realm, hence sealing him into the place where no living being would find him, but fate didn't abandon him as he freed himself from the chains of that eternal damnation.

The world immediately lost its color, screaming with pain and agony that warned its children to run as far as possible before cancer would devour them.

" What kind of monster did you summon?"

Golla widened his eyes with shock, feeling his hair get up from its roots as he trembled from the unknown. Even the presence of God was much more bearable than this monster.

" Ah, two great souls! I never thought I would be greeted by such great talents. Pity that you have met me. Say, do you want to surrender or die?"

Red licked his lips, observing them from a close distance. The immense power of demons was no joke as they kept their breath taken away by something.

Those sinister scarlet eyes kept close observation on them like he was enjoying their to struggle between life and death.

" Why are you doing this? With your power, you can kill all of us with rather ease."

Jocylee asked, showing her despair. If there were just two of them, now with this demon they could overpower them.

" Why? I just wanted to enjoy seeing you die. You see I feed on carnage and blood. What is the best place for me to stay?"

He said, toying with her hair. Jocylee was disgusted by the smell of the blood, but she swallowed back her disgust and looked into his eyes. There she saw only endless madness and destruction that was beyond her recognition. A thing that shouldn't exist in this world was standing before them.

" You have found me, girl. Ah, I really wanted to have you."

Red sighed, plunging his hand into her chest which was protected by mana shield.

Crack*

Without any blockage, his hand went through the barrier like it was a piece of paper and they couldn't believe what was happening. Golla pulled her to the back while being pierced through his back.

He leaned on his sword, looking at the bloody hole in his chest, but this didn't stop him as he used his strength to push them away. The slash was so powerful that even Red was surprised by such will from a mortal.

" Fascinating. You will make a fine piece."

He laughed, grabbing his arm with his scarlet claws. No matter how he tried to pull himself, he couldn't escape from his clutch, so he decided to do something extreme.

" Run!"

Golla cut off his arm, retreating with Jocylee. He held his blood loss with his mana and burned the vessel to hold it back. His vision was getting blurry, but his mind was racing toward the elixir since it was their last hope.
