Elites From Another World

A fairy tale about a Forgotten Knight remembered by many, reuniting with his Heavenly Saint, who is known by none. A cursed tale about a damned youth encountering the demon of the battlefield. Both tales tell different stories, but only the people involved know what truly happened, and what stories remain untold. ... Fate? What does that have to do with anything? Sometime we meet the most unusual people, and other times we meet people we've met once before, but had no idea we did. Arcane High is a place which has a lot of "fate" surrounding it. For a place which falls outside the bounds of a normal school, it managed to do what any normal school always did. Bring people together. Ean, Heaven Kinston is the Third Young Miss of the Kinston family. She has never gone to any normal school before, and her first is Arcane High. Due to unusual circumstances, she manages to get into this school, and she meets the most unusual people by… fate? Despite the grandeur of the Kinston family, their youngest daughter, Heaven Kinston, is pretty much unknown by everyone but everyone somehow knows her. Her life until she gets to Arcane high can be described in one word, Unknown. Ean's life is unknown to so many people, including herself. How so…? Her life, though it had its ups and downs, had seemed very normal to her, until she gets to Arcane High and starts to realize how sheltered she's been. Sometimes, she wonders if she's ever met anyone apart from the people she currently knew. Other times, she forgets she ever has such thoughts. And most times, she recalls fleeting memories of those thoughts, that was probably one of the reasons she had agreed to go to Arcane High. Calm seas appears calm to whoever looks at its surface, but only those who go into it, know how turbulent it is within. The saying can describe Arcane High's current situation. Unbeknownst to everyone else, not just Ean, Ean's entry into Arcane High set something into motion, which uncovered more secrets than those who were involved knew existed. Come along and unravel the mystery behind the word "fate", and what role it plays in this unusual tale lived by one and many others.

Young Master

The silence in the classroom was stifling and unnatural, considering the fact that two living human beings were in there.

Xavier yawned then stood up, "Let's go, there's no point thinking about what will and won't happen"

Alexander moved his gaze to Xavier, who had stood up from the chair and was on his way to the door. He watched Xavier till he stopped when he had reached the door.

"Are you going to keep standing there?", Xavier turned around and asked in annoyance.

"…", Alexander shook his head and finally spoke up. "I don't know, I'm just scared, I'm scared something bad might happen again", his voice turned quieter as his dialogue progressed.

Xavier nodded his head and said, "Don't be scared, you should already know by now that something bad will happen, something bad always happens. Don't humans fear the unknown? Why are you being silly by worrying about what you know will happen?"

Alexander was stunned, then suddenly broke into laughter. What was he expecting from Xavier? Comfort? Motivational words? He was being silly, wasn't he?

Xavier smiled slightly and continued to speak, "Plus I don't think she's the kind of person, who would just blab off about your identity…"

'…but she does seem like the kind of person, who would keep it to herself and use it against us or to her benefit.'

"I guess…", Alexander wasn't convinced, but he was no longer hesitant.

"Come on, let's go. I don't know about you, but I'm hungry, and if that bell rings before we get to the cafeteria, then that's another reason to kick you off Arin Island", Xavier did not wait for his response, but Alexander knew better than to waste his time.

So he ran along and met up with Xavier.

As Xavier walked out of the classroom, he glanced at the doorway of the other class which was directly next to theirs.

He moved his gaze away and put a hand into his pocket, 'I wonder who they are here for? And how long they've been there…', he thought with furrowed eyebrows.

'Is that why she said goodbye again…', Xavier frowned then sighed.

"Whatever, at least it won't be as boring anymore. This school is about to get even more interesting…", He mumbled out with a relaxed expression.

"Huh? How'd you figure that out?", Alexander who had heard his words asked.

"I just did", Xavier shrugged his shoulders, and kept on walking.

I was heading towards the classroom she was assigned to, because I couldn't find her at the cafeteria.

'What a bother!', I thought in annoyance.

I couldn't believe I had skipped the classroom earlier, to go check the cafeteria only to find out she wasn't there and wouldn't be coming anytime soon, after waiting there for a while.

"I don't get paid enough to do this!", I ruffled my hair when I finally spotted the class. Finally!

I increased my pace and was almost at the classroom, when Miss Ciara came out.

'Shit! She can't see me!', I turned around immediately but ended up bumping into someone else.

"Sorry sorry", I helped them to pick their stuff, while watching her from my peripheral vision.

I watched her walk down the hall and finally stood up. "Safe", I said in relief.

The girl who I had bumped into looked at me as if I was some sort of weirdo.

I stared back at her provocatively, 'What?! Keep moving clumsy!'

She left me alone and walked past the class, I moved forward again, but twice as fast and ended up bumping into another person.

I didn't open my eyes, 'cause I thought it was Ean, but then she spoke up and it turned out she wasn't.

"Um are you okay?", she asked gently.

'Gentle… that wasn't the description I was given, so it should be safe right?', I opened my eyes and saw a green eyed brunette, crouching down with her hand stretched out.

Fortunately she wasn't holding anything but her bag, so there was nothing to help her pick up.

I reached out to take her hand and realized the first girl was still there. She had a strange look on her face, 'What do you want clumsy?!', I asked in my head, and quickly thanked the girl who helped me up.

"It's no b-bother, I have to go, bye!", She spoke quickly and immediately walked off when she was done.

"What a weirdo- Ahh I should've asked about Ean- is she there?", I scratched the back of my head, and walked around the hallway.

I stopped by the classroom and stood around the door, while waiting for the clumsy girl to go, but she stood there for a while waiting with me, before she looked down at her books, hesitated for a bit and turned around to leave.

I moved closer to the doorway, immediately she left. I have never seen such a nosy person in my life, I mean, what was she waiting for?

For me to do something wrong? Do I look like a creep?!

"Argh!", I groaned loudly.

Thanks to the nosy clumsy girl, I missed the chance to check if Ean was in the class, because of Xavier and his friend, who were coming out.

'Xavier… should I spy on him too? No, I wasn't given instructions for that but, if Ean is in there, what exactly am I supposed to do?', I was confused.

'Of all the people they could have given this job to, they gave it to me. Did he have that much faith in me?', I got carried away in my thoughts and did not notice when Xavier and his friend went back in.

Seeing no one at the door I was about to walk in when I saw Alexander at Ean's desk.

'Oh they're still here- Ah there she is, great! I won't have to go around the school to look for her, Huh?', I quickly moved away from the doorway, when I noticed Xavier showing signs of stopping.

He turned around, but I had already entered the next classroom, which was fortunately empty, and narrowly avoided Xavier's detection.

He was near the door and had yet to sit down or go deeper into the classroom, when he saw no one there, he went forward and sat on the first desk of the second column from the doorway.

'Ha! And he called them scary, look at that, I avoided them all! Of course he gave the job to me, I'm an expert!', I was carried away with my thoughts, but quickly came back to reality when I heard Ean's voice, which was full of surprise.

"Your highness…? Do you know me?"

Highness? Who is she calling royalty, is it Alexander or Xavier? Damn it, he wants me to spy on a prince!

I stole a glance at the classroom, and realized Ean was talking to Alexander.

"Alexander's a prince… then I'm gonna be schoolmates with a prince…!", I murmured softly in surprise.

'I can't believe I'll be attending school with a prince. I've decided, this is the class I'm coming to, this one!', I was distracted once again, but Ean's voice made me focus again.

And I inched closer to the doorway, but hid myself and my shadow, and tried to listen in on their conversation.

My spying was going well till Ean stood up and walked towards me, 'I've been found out!', I quickly entered the second classroom, but she didn't come out.

'Are they still talking?', I moved back to my spying position and realized they were. 'Oh good for a second there, I thought I've been caught.'

I glanced at Xavier who was holding a lollipop and quickly looked away, then at Ean who was talking to Alexander.

'I thought they were going to fight…', I breathed out a sigh of relief and focused on my job.

But I thought too soon, immediately I relaxed, Xavier suddenly stood up and joined the conversation.

And soon enough they were going to fight but then Xavier suddenly cursed, and Ean said her goodbyes.

"Ahh they didn't fight that's great. She's coming…!", I quickly moved back and Ean turned around on time, which prevented her from spotting me.

I came out of the classroom and watched her go down the hall, 'Should I follow her?'

I was considering going after her, since she was my target. But when I heard Alexander speak up, I decided to stay.

The second conversation I heard wasn't as nice as the first one, but I did learn something interesting, 'Xavier is interested in Ean, great! What about him?!'

Soon enough, the guys were about to leave the classroom and I had no choice but to hide again, but luckily for me, Xavier stood by the door so I could hear him just fine.

When they were down the hall, I stood by the door of their classroom, distracted once again, as my mind drifted back to bits of their conversation.

"Alexander is a prince from Aerorua… wait! Aerorua only has two princes, is he the mysterious first prince?! He is, Ean said so herself and so did he. Then what is he doing here?! Oh, It seems he came here 'cause he's a director of some sort, ahh~ too much information"

I sat down on what of the seats, and tried to filter the important information from the general information I had gained. But it was difficult to do so, because everything was important.

"Why was I given this job in the first place…?!", I combed my fingers through my hair, and started at the board.

"The Young Master sure has a good eye for picking girls…", I muttered despondently.

Have some idea about my story? Comment it and let me know.
