Elites From Another World

A fairy tale about a Forgotten Knight remembered by many, reuniting with his Heavenly Saint, who is known by none. A cursed tale about a damned youth encountering the demon of the battlefield. Both tales tell different stories, but only the people involved know what truly happened, and what stories remain untold. ... Fate? What does that have to do with anything? Sometime we meet the most unusual people, and other times we meet people we've met once before, but had no idea we did. Arcane High is a place which has a lot of "fate" surrounding it. For a place which falls outside the bounds of a normal school, it managed to do what any normal school always did. Bring people together. Ean, Heaven Kinston is the Third Young Miss of the Kinston family. She has never gone to any normal school before, and her first is Arcane High. Due to unusual circumstances, she manages to get into this school, and she meets the most unusual people by… fate? Despite the grandeur of the Kinston family, their youngest daughter, Heaven Kinston, is pretty much unknown by everyone but everyone somehow knows her. Her life until she gets to Arcane high can be described in one word, Unknown. Ean's life is unknown to so many people, including herself. How so…? Her life, though it had its ups and downs, had seemed very normal to her, until she gets to Arcane High and starts to realize how sheltered she's been. Sometimes, she wonders if she's ever met anyone apart from the people she currently knew. Other times, she forgets she ever has such thoughts. And most times, she recalls fleeting memories of those thoughts, that was probably one of the reasons she had agreed to go to Arcane High. Calm seas appears calm to whoever looks at its surface, but only those who go into it, know how turbulent it is within. The saying can describe Arcane High's current situation. Unbeknownst to everyone else, not just Ean, Ean's entry into Arcane High set something into motion, which uncovered more secrets than those who were involved knew existed. Too Early

Aidan's POV

While I was staring at Ean who was wearing her headphones, Ms Flora continued her introduction of the two new students.

"Why don't you boys introduce… Aidan aid-", Ms flora stopped speaking and called out to me, but I didn't answer her, noticing my distraction, she sensed my attention elsewhere and turned her gaze over to Ean's direction, then walked towards her.

Ean who had long sensed Aidan's uncomfortable and disturbing stare, decided to look out the window trying to shake off the disturbing feeling of being watched. She felt it was familiar, but this gaze was rather annoying, while that one felt like a safety protocol, wait, why did she feel that being watched is a safety protocol?

While Ean was beginning to get lost in her own thoughts, she sensed another gaze on her.

She looked up and met the gaze of the black haired teen, and as if they both had it planned earlier on, they glanced at the other in disinterest and with indifference before looking away.

Ean looked right out the window, "Who knew school would be so boring?", She thought light-heartedly.

She suddenly realized the class' quietness, and noticed someone was walking towards her. 'Is it that guy?', she guessed but she heard a feminine voice ring in her ears.

Ms flora finally arrived at Ean seat, she eyed Ean cockily and said with great arrogance in her voice whilst tapping her, "Ean, hand over those headphones and face the class".

If it were any normal student, Ms Flora wouldn't even bother with Ean, but she did because of Ean's scholarship tag.

I wasn't surprised the teacher already knew her name, not for normal reasons like she's a student in her class, but because of Ean's growing fame. Ean should already be well-known by now.

An average of fifty percent, a suspiciously unknown background, a beautiful face and being able to attend one of the top schools of the country. Anyone who heard about her, would definitely be curious, but only few would react the way Ms Flora was reacting.

Nobody had done anything, they were just testing the waters.

After all nobody knew her identity, it was better to be cautious than be the first to stick your head out.

Even Vivian did nothing and only approached her, because she wanted to know her.

Hence, everyone buckled up and paid attention to the upcoming conversation.

Ean turned around, annoyance was written all over her face, but the moment she saw it was the teacher there was a trace of delight and relief in her eyes, but it disappeared the moment it appeared, thus no one, including the teacher saw it.

Her expression relaxed and her lips curled up into a playful smile, and played with the few strands of loose hair that was previously tucked behind her ear.

"The music helps me concentrate", she said with no self-constraint, but in a tone that showed she was happy to disobey her.

Her voice was low and melodious, it was also clear and full of confidence, definitely different from the way she talked to Vivian.

"But it's disrupting my class take it off NOW!", Ms flora said aggressively. Ean simply brought out a napkin from her pocket, wiped the side of her face, then accurately threw it into the waste bin.

Everyone knew what that action meant, the teacher had spluttered on her. But before the teacher could intercept her, Ean's voice rang out clearly in the silent classroom.

"I only hear 'you' making noise and it's seems you're disrupting your own class, so why don't you leave me alone and do your job", Ean said in a sarcastic and mocking voice, slipping her hand into her side pocket to bring out a lollipop.

The teacher was stunned by Ean's arrogance, she hadn't expected her to react that way because of her scholarship.

She watched as Ean carefully peeled the wrapper then carelessly dropped it on the floor, and put the lollipop into her mouth. Even though she seemed childish, her actions were very refined and capable of infuriating it's recipient.

The teacher heard a snigger and looked around, then she realized everyone had been watching them. Some had shocked looks on their faces, while others had mocking looks and they broke down in chatter.

Ms flora could feel their mocking gazes, even th we new students had looks of laughter on their faces. The disappointment and mockery on them were evident, all because she couldn't even take care of a measly scholarship student.

Knowing she couldn't do anything to the rest of the class, she decided to just deal with Ean, "OUT OF MY CLASS! NOW!!", Ms Flora shouted at the top of her lungs, veins already bulging on her neck.

Ean put her bag on the table, her expression was unseeable due to the few wisps of hair covering her eyes, those small movements she made like wanting to stand up, put the whole class in a fix as all those who knew her had different thoughts.

'Why is she acting like this, does she want to get expelled?' Mason thought in concern.

'Hahaha, this is my chance to be hero saving the beauty, now I'll have a chance to bring Ean over to my side.' Vivian thought in delight.

'To think she would be lucky enough to leave this early, and I liked her so much too.', Ciara frowned a bit, but thought there was nothing she could do about Ean's case, at most she would find something more fun to do.

We expected Ean to beg or something, even if she didn't I was willing to stand up for her, or do anything that wouldn't make the school expel her, because she couldn't mess this up she might lose the scholarship.

Author's POV

When the black haired teen met with Ean's impatient gaze, an image flashed through his head and he saw a dirty little girl who was saying something.

His blank and expressionless face shifted a little. He frowned as he tried to recall the memory again.

He remembered something, it wasn't same but it also was not too different from the initial memory, this time it was dark and this girl was also dirty, but she was asleep.

His head hurt a little and the more he tried to recall those two different memories the more his head felt light and blank. His half closed eyes closed up completely, but he quickly opened them up, when the brown haired teen asked him a question while staring at Ean.

"I know you're still angry, but do you think that hot girl is going to beg?", the brown haired teen whispered to his friend.

The black haired teen moved his gaze to Ean's direction, and he had a feeling he wasn't alone in this school.

"She won't beg", He wasn't completely sure why he replied him with confidence, but he knew she wouldn't. After all, she must want to get out of this place as much as he does, right?

"Huh, how are you so sure?", The brown haired teen whispered in confusion.

"I don't know, I can feel it I guess", The black haired teen whispered back and moved his gaze to the boy who had been staring at him, then the guy who was clenching his fists while looking at Ean's direction. Then he spoke up, "Even if the teacher is adamant on sending her away, I don't think that would be possible"

"Eh, why won't it be possible?", The brown haired teen felt he was really slow, how come his friend knew all this when he had just entered this classroom for the first time. This was also the first time he had come into contact with this kind of people and a situation like this.

The black haired teen didn't reply him and glanced at the teacher then at Ean, "It really is a pain for this sort of thing to happen when we're only moments away from sitting", he muttered in annoyance.

'What are they even arguing about? Can't they see people standing?', He was really annoyed and quietly watched the teacher and student interact.

Contrary to the look on her face, he felt she was actually being playful and intentional. "She knows she shouldn't act like this but she does, she must have an angle", he thought with a light smile on his face.

"Okay", Ean said decisively. The glee and delight in her voice could hardly be hidden, as she picked her bag up in a bid to leave the class.

And just as he expected she stood up with her backpack in hand, unlike others who might not have seen it. He noticed the delight and triumph in her eyes, but she quickly hid it and walked towards the door.

The black haired teen couldn't stop himself from smirking, but he quickly looked away and brought his phone out of his pocket and glanced at it.

"She won't make it", he thought as he kept his phone back in.

"Huh-", he cut his friend off before he could ask about what he was talking about.

He thought of the time, 9:12 am. "It's too early", he said softly.
