Elites From Another World

A fairy tale about a Forgotten Knight remembered by many, reuniting with his Heavenly Saint, who is known by none. A cursed tale about a damned youth encountering the demon of the battlefield. Both tales tell different stories, but only the people involved know what truly happened, and what stories remain untold. ... Fate? What does that have to do with anything? Sometime we meet the most unusual people, and other times we meet people we've met once before, but had no idea we did. Arcane High is a place which has a lot of "fate" surrounding it. For a place which falls outside the bounds of a normal school, it managed to do what any normal school always did. Bring people together. Ean, Heaven Kinston is the Third Young Miss of the Kinston family. She has never gone to any normal school before, and her first is Arcane High. Due to unusual circumstances, she manages to get into this school, and she meets the most unusual people by… fate? Despite the grandeur of the Kinston family, their youngest daughter, Heaven Kinston, is pretty much unknown by everyone but everyone somehow knows her. Her life until she gets to Arcane high can be described in one word, Unknown. Ean's life is unknown to so many people, including herself. How so…? Her life, though it had its ups and downs, had seemed very normal to her, until she gets to Arcane High and starts to realize how sheltered she's been. Sometimes, she wonders if she's ever met anyone apart from the people she currently knew. Other times, she forgets she ever has such thoughts. And most times, she recalls fleeting memories of those thoughts, that was probably one of the reasons she had agreed to go to Arcane High. Calm seas appears calm to whoever looks at its surface, but only those who go into it, know how turbulent it is within. The saying can describe Arcane High's current situation. Unbeknownst to everyone else, not just Ean, Ean's entry into Arcane High set something into motion, which uncovered more secrets than those who were involved knew existed. Come along and unravel the mystery behind the word "fate", and what role it plays in this unusual tale lived by one and many others.

The Juvenile Student Council

Mason Pov

I watched in confusion as she walked off, and as the Juvenile Student Council walked towards me.

They were like a normal Student Council, except their abilities and authority were highly restricted, due to the difference in our social statues.

The real Student Council didn't pay attention to trivial matters like, a student riding their bike into the school premises. But had their power based in a different area, and if they were to ever come over here, all hell could possibly break loose.

We already had a prankster, a truant and a playboy. And as meaningless and insignificant as their titles may seem, they actually hold more power and clout than any of the other students at Arcane High.

"MASON HARVEY!!! It is you!! How many times did I tell you not to bring your bike into the school?!", A rather loud voice rang into my ears, and disrupted my thoughts.

I covered my ears and glanced at Daisy, who was expecting an explanation from me. I had nothing to give her, so I was just planning on waiting it out.

"Daisy, would you believe me if I told you I totally forgot about your warning…?", I said slowly, waiting for the school bell to ring and dismiss her.

Daisy eyed me up and down, and on seeing my dazed expression, she realized I had something else on my mind.

She frowned slightly and was planning on exposing his thoughts, and reprimanding him some more, when a gentle but cheerful voice called out to me, interrupting whatever was going on between us.

"Hey Mason! I didn't know you were this bad with the ladies", The owner of the voice said jokingly and giggled upon seeing Daisy's flush.

I turned around to meet the gaze of a fairly handsome teen with chocolate coloured hair, and dark brown eyes. There was a wide smile on his face as he approached me, dressed messily in his school uniform.

"Hello Daisy~", He smiled cheekily and swung his arm around my shoulder.

"Hey Nick… if you're here to defend Mason then-", Daisy replied shyly at first, but as if remembering something, she returned to her old self and started to warn "Nick", but "Nick" interrupted her with a frown.

"Come on! We aren't enemies right? So why would you call me like that? I told you it's Nicholas Nicholas! Not Nick-", Nicholas responded to Daisy's statement pettily and with suppressed anger, but daisy wasn't calm either.

"You want me to call you normally? Call you Nicholas?! Fat chance!. The day you decide to stop calling my name in such a flirtatious manner, each and everytime we meet then I'll agree to call you Nicholas!", Daisy seemed tired of Nicholas' antics, so she left after saying her piece, but not without glaring at Mason.

I turned to look at my life saver, who flashed me a smile. "Thank you, God knows what she was going to make me do if you hadn't intervened"

"It's no big deal, happy to help a friend out", He smiled again and brought out his phone to reply to a text he had just received.

As I watched Nicholas busy himself with his phone, I thought about how he was part of the few people who hadn't changed after joining this school.

Nicholas is very cute, has dimples and a signature smile. I'm not a pervert and I'll only know this if he laughs right? Well he laughs a lot, he is super nice but an extreme prankster.

He has a very sociable and outgoing personality, so it's not surprising how he managed to become everyone's friend, and be on very familiar terms with them.

He got into the school through scholarship, but he was transferred from the second best school in the country to this one, and he still had to take the test to apply for the scholarship. Isn't this school something?

Normally he'd be treated differently with his "scholarship tag", but he had a way with people and his social status wasn't that bad.

Nicholas looked up and noticed Mason's dazed look, he thought for a moment and wondered if he had missed something, then suddenly realized it.

"Hey! Don't zone out on me, and don't worry your empty head about what she said" Nicholas said to me with assurance in his tone.

I snapped out of my thoughts, and looked at him. Noticing his face filled with pride, I realized he had figured something out.

Wait, did I forget to mention how smart he is? Although he is not devilishly intelligent, he is much more smarter than me, that's how he passed the scholarship exam. But what did he figure out this time?

"You must be thinking about what she said. She meant her name wasn't silver as you called her, she must be one of the lucky ten that passed the scholarship", Nicholas explained, and I realized what he was talking about, but I had to correct him about the scholarship part.

"That wasn't what I was thinking about but she's not on scholarship..." I said meaningfully, and let go of my bike to walk with nicholas, looked around then threw my keys to one of the guys around.

"Why do you think she isn't on scholarship? Didn't you see her run to school? She must be dirt poor too…", Nicholas muttered the last part, and walked forward, hands tucked into his jacket.

I stared at him in surprise, and before I knew it I had come to her defence. "She isn't on scholarship neither is she poor, I saw her come out of a car this morning beca-"

Nicholas interrupted me, "Liar! If she were a normal student and wasn't dirt poor, wouldn't she have taken the school bus instead of running?"

Nicholas argument was reasonable and I wouldn't be arguing with him if I hadn't witnessed it myself, "The car broke down and I was there. I wanted to offer her a ride but she-"

Nicholas interrupted me once again, and this time he didn't say anything. He only held me by the arm, and dragged me across the school grounds, then towards the admin office.

Once we got there, he shushed me and knocked on the door, "Sir it's Nicholas". There was no reply from the other side, then he knocked again and said the same thing, but there was still no reply. When he did it a third time, we had confirmed no one was in there, and Nicholas opened the door and pulled me along.

"What are we doing here? Don't you know-", I was interrupted once again by Nicholas.

"Shush do you wanna get caught in here?", was all he said and he continued searching the desks for something, opening drawers, flipping through files and so on.

We spent about three minutes searching, well he spent three minutes searching, but he failed to find what he was looking for.

I was about to convince him to give up so we could hurry to class, when he suddenly smiled at a filed document he had found.

I stood there in irritation, I had no idea why he was doing what he was doing, much less why he was acting so secretive. I decided to be patient and watched as he opened the file, and took numerous shots, before walking towards the door.

I followed him to an empty classroom, and assumed he had found whatever he was looking for and was ready to give me an explanation.

We entered and Nicholas showed me the photos he had taken.

On the first page, ten medium sized slots were in full view, with a person's photo in each. Seven were 'X'ed or had huge 'X'es on them.

We scrolled and scrolled until we got to her file and spotted her photo.

Her face was expressionless with a hint of annoyance on it, her hair was styled the same way as today, and she was wearing a blue and white uniform.

Although the photo only showed up to her diaphragm, his imagination made up for the rest of the picture.

She was beautiful. Imagining her wearing such a youthful uniform proved to have taken it's toll on Mason, as his ear flushed red due to his over active imagination.

Nicholas glanced over at her picture, and she was indeed beautiful but that wasn't what interested him.

Waking Mason out of his reverie, he zoomed out of her picture and in on another part of the photo, and indicated that Mason read its contents.

Although I was a little bit annoyed at Nicholas and embarrassed at myself, I did as he asked and I couldn't believe my eyes.

Hearing suppressed laughter from my side, I moved my gaze away from the screen to the giggling Nicholas.
