Elites From Another World

A fairy tale about a Forgotten Knight remembered by many, reuniting with his Heavenly Saint, who is known by none. A cursed tale about a damned youth encountering the demon of the battlefield. Both tales tell different stories, but only the people involved know what truly happened, and what stories remain untold. ... Fate? What does that have to do with anything? Sometime we meet the most unusual people, and other times we meet people we've met once before, but had no idea we did. Arcane High is a place which has a lot of "fate" surrounding it. For a place which falls outside the bounds of a normal school, it managed to do what any normal school always did. Bring people together. Ean, Heaven Kinston is the Third Young Miss of the Kinston family. She has never gone to any normal school before, and her first is Arcane High. Due to unusual circumstances, she manages to get into this school, and she meets the most unusual people by… fate? Despite the grandeur of the Kinston family, their youngest daughter, Heaven Kinston, is pretty much unknown by everyone but everyone somehow knows her. Her life until she gets to Arcane high can be described in one word, Unknown. Ean's life is unknown to so many people, including herself. How so…? Her life, though it had its ups and downs, had seemed very normal to her, until she gets to Arcane High and starts to realize how sheltered she's been. Sometimes, she wonders if she's ever met anyone apart from the people she currently knew. Other times, she forgets she ever has such thoughts. And most times, she recalls fleeting memories of those thoughts, that was probably one of the reasons she had agreed to go to Arcane High. Calm seas appears calm to whoever looks at its surface, but only those who go into it, know how turbulent it is within. The saying can describe Arcane High's current situation. Unbeknownst to everyone else, not just Ean, Ean's entry into Arcane High set something into motion, which uncovered more secrets than those who were involved knew existed. Come along and unravel the mystery behind the word "fate", and what role it plays in this unusual tale lived by one and many others.

Arcane High

Aidan's Pov

I stood by the door and watched the drama going on in the classroom. My gaze moved to the new girl, Ean stone, who was the new centre of attraction. Not only was she beautiful, she had an air of mystery around her that seemed to be able to draw people in.

Leaning by the door frame, I looked at the information that was recently posted in our class group, N and C's work no doubt.

(Nicholas and Ciara)

That was how everyone but Vivian was able to know her name. Vivian is on bad terms with Ciara, and for some reason the two of them can't directly go against each other.

Seeing how Ciara had quickly gotten Ean's registration information, I bet she must be interested in her. It'd be a pity if Vivian was too, because only Ean would suffer, if she ended up being dragged into their petty feud.

I walked in when I spotted the teacher coming, behind her were two guys. The first one looked weak and lethargic, and the other one seemed bright and effeminate.

Unbeknownst to me, immediately after I walked in the black haired teen looked up.

"Are these new students as well? What kind of people are now attending our school?!", I walked into the class in a sour mood.

Although social or financial status, seems like the ranking system, it's not!

People judge other people by how they present themselves, first impressions!

Although there are some factors which determine first impressions, like what they've heard or what they've seen, hearing and seeing is not the same thing as experiencing something yourself.

Hence, I had determined that this kind of person, the weak looking one with a pretty face was just lucky to be able to get into Arcane High, but his luck ran out the moment he stepped in here.

Although Ciara might not have his time, they are a whole lot of people who are ready to take up the job.

I finally sat down on my seat, which was infront of Mason's, diagonal to Ciara's and right next to Ean's, if we ignored the empty seat in between us.

I glanced at her in disinterest, and assessed her according to her looks and bearing.

She gave off that, 'don't mess with me or you'll get it', vibe, with that aura of hers that makes her seem as if she's better than us. But at the same she seems inexperienced and clueless, as if she's a monk who's never gone to the city before. "Boring and interesting at the same time, no wonder Ciara likes her so much…", I muttered and glanced away, wondering why the teacher hadn't come yet.

"New students, huh?", I played with my pen and thought about the two guys I saw with the teacher. Maybe because of the impressions I got from them, or I was too immersed in my thoughts, but I ignored the fact that they were both wearing our school uniforms.

Although their information wasn't posted on the group, I could roughly make something out based on Ean's information.

It's the third week since we resumed school, she didn't reach the cut-off mark of eighty five percent but she's here. That means the school took some kind of interest in her, lucky! They all are!

They weren't even planning on doing that scholarship thing this year, as per what I was told. But they ended up doing it anyway, only for weird people like them to apply and actually get approved!

Well they should prepare to bear the disadvantages of being lucky enough to get accepted into Arcane High as scholarship students. Ean would undoubtedly be the luckiest, since Ciara already has her sights on her, and she had barely shown her face.

Vivian was already on her way to her seat when the homeroom teacher, Ms. flora came in with the new students right behind her.

Our class was a small one, and it may not look like it but it is one of the best classes available at Arcane High. Arcane High is divided into two, the second generation section and the next generation section.

The second generation section comprised of good-for-nothings, non heirs, and illegitimate children or unacknowledged children by their families. I'd say that the second generation section is Arcane High's money bank.

Most of the scholarship students who get in, and are from mid to better than average families, are sent over to the second generation section.

Only the intelligent ones, who have more than just money and smarts are admitted into the Next generation section. As for Nicholas, he just got lucky because he's smarter than average and his father knew the School's headmaster.

Imagine that, paying all that money for your kid to make friends or hook up with someone from a richer family, only for them to be put in a place of degenerates.

However, the next generation section was the complete opposite of the second generation. Just like our title suggested, we're trained to be the next generation.

Although we were smaller in number, we had an absolute advantage in importance. They trained us according to our talents and skills, and I heard if we passed their tests or show we've improved, we'll be taken to somewhere multiple times better than Arcane High

One would say the second generations were valued because of their money, but that's not it. Arcane High was originally a school that produced talents, it just got corrupted along the way.

"Attention class!", Ms Flora's demure voice resonated loudly in the classroom, bringing me out of my thoughts.

Everyone were scattered across the class and didn't bother to return to their seats. Ean on the other hand had one hand in her bag and the other with her phone. She paid Ms Flora no heed, isn't she confident?

I looked away from her then to the pretty boy who had caught everyone, including Ciara's, attention.

"Everyone, these two students are from the scholarship program and I'm sure…", when Ms flora started her speech, I wanted to mock them or something, do anything to show my superiority to them, especially the black haired teen.

Honestly, I couldn't hide my disdain for this person at all, he was just like that other bastard who got into the Elite School because of some shitty researchs.

I stared at him hatefully, as I thought of that crazy Blondie who managed to get into Arcane Elite School, because of his connections and some stupid research. But then his gaze which was elsewhere suddenly met mine.

The Black haired teen looked up and gazed at me indifferently in the eye, seeing the unbothered and carefree look in his eyes, I flinched, but immediately became angry.

"Does he have no Idea of who I am? I am a bonafide pa-", I froze up when his gaze suddenly turned cold. As if he had sensed the dissatisfaction I had with him. His half closed eyes were stern as they gazed at me coldly, as if I were a slab of meat that would soon be devoured.

I froze up and I couldn't look away, something about his gaze made me feel like he had seen through me.

Was that possible? I didn't know and I didn't care. What I was concerned about, was why I was scared of him when he was just a measly scholarship student.

Wasn't he the same guy who looked weak and lethargic? How come he seemed so powerful now?

Our gazes were locked with each other's, I couldn't look away from his nonchalant gaze, and it felt as if we were in a staring contest of death! Such that, if I looked away I'd die, but if he did nothing much will happen, except that I'd still die from both relief and shock.

My shoulders tensed up and cold sweat broke out on my fore head. I lowered my head the moment he looked away, I couldn't feel his gaze on me anymore but I could feel his terrifying aura.

I couldn't bring myself to look up, in case he looked at me again. So I continued to stare at my desk, a wet drop fell on my hand, it was my sweat. I counted the drops on the table silently praying that it stopped.

My prayers must have been answered, because I felt his aura reducing bit by bit until it completely disappeared.

I was still enveloped in my trauma even though the pressure on me had disappeared.

I sensed movement from my side, and instinctively turned to look towards that direction, only to see a bored Ean fiddling with her phone probably to choose a new song to play on her headphones.

Her lashes were lowered casting a shadow on her face, and the sunlight made her face glow. Her side profile was beautiful, and despite her cold and stoic look, there was still a breath of life on that face, due to the annoyed and bored look on her face.

The exquisite and never seen before black headphones made her silvery white hair stand out the more. It was a clear and distinct mixture of white and black.

Looking at that beautiful profile, at that moment I couldn't help but calm down, and want to have a closer look no a proper conversation with her, but alas we were one column apart with one seat separating us. 'Maybe I should move there', I thought indecisively.

I've introduced all but one or two of the male interests, although I didn't give much detail, can you guess which of them could possibly be the Male lead?

Have some idea about my story? Comment it and let me know.
