Bonding Time

Connor

"I think it's great!" Lottie laughed as she pranced around my closet dropping items of clothing in my empty bags whilst I sat on the island in complete disbelief.

She seemed to be enjoying herself thoroughly as she picked through my tracksuits dressed in a mini skirt and heels. That seemed to be her new homeware these days.

"You're just happy I won't be in the house and you can do whatever you want," I rolled my eyes, "I told security to not allow any parties so if you think you can do that shut it down now Lottie."

She gasped as she pressed her hands to her heart, "you always think the worst of me. Maybe after this camp you'll learn to trust a little more. I'm tired of your sour attitude everyday. You need to lighten up."

"There's nothing in this world that can make me trust you," I hissed, then jumped off the island. I snatched the neon pink male thong she had bought for me as a prank out of her hand and threw it back in the drawer. "If you're not going to take packing for me seriously, let me know. I'm capable of doing it myself."

"I'm trying to be a caring girlfriend you know," she pouted and wound her arms around my neck before giving me a kiss, "I'd do anything to be trapped in the middle of nowhere with Edward." She let out a playful moan, "Holly said he can do wonders with his body. She literally lost her voice the next day from how he had her screaming."

"Out!" I growled but she let out a loud laugh then pushed me out of the closet. I did not have the energy to fight her anymore therefore I went to my office to pack my laptop and the files I would need.

I knew I was dismissed from playing rugby not just for the national team but the club as well but that did not mean I could not put my input. I was not going to participate in whatever bullshit activities they had planned for Edward and I. Work would keep me busy enough since I could still come up with game strategies even if I was not there.

I would have never been in this position if it wasn't for him. I never got red carded until Edward joined the team. He was a plague and a token of pure bad luck. Everything about him made the whole team flip on its head and it had been complete chaos ever since. How had I allowed myself to get caught up in this?

When I was done I was pleased to see Lottie was done. With a light inspection to make sure she had not packed anything controversial I gave her a kiss and allowed her to invite a small group of friends. That had her glowing and instead of driving me to the airport she sent me away with a happy smile before running back to the house.

With a sigh I drove myself to the airport beyond pissed I was not going to normal terminals. Edward being a complete prick insisted that we use his private jet. By his private jet he meant his daddy's. I did not have much of a choice because Coach had thought it was a great idea since we could bond early.

I had a feeling I would throw myself out of the plane before even being given the chance.

After entering the private jet gate it was hard to miss the large black and gold jet that had 'Coleman' written at the side of it in gold. There was a red carpet laid out and two smiling flight attendants waited.

From the second I stepped out of my car, a guard was ready to take my car in storage at the personal Coleman warehouse where I spotted a few other jets and row after row of luxury cars. The other flight attendants took my bags for me before escorting me up.

As soon as I stepped foot in the jet it felt like you were in a luxury hotel rather than a cabin. This must have been what first class felt like because I did not know where to look. There was diamond encrusted everything with what I believed to be real gold. The seating arrangements felt more like a casual lounge than a jet.

The seats, a luxurious cream with black leather accents. If this was what the title of the world's richest man got you then I was more envious than I already thought I was.

"And aren't you a sight for sore eyes?" An obnoxious voice chuckled, pulling me out of my daze. Edward came from the back of the jet dressed in black ripped jeans, the whitest sneakers I had ever seen, a white shirt with a leather jacket thrown over. A diamond encrusted chain was around his neck and aviator sunglasses resting on top of his platinum blonde hair.

The swelling had died down and only faint bruising was visible which left me bitter. How had his bruises all almost disappeared whilst mine were prominent?

It was the first time I had ever seen Edward in anything but our uniform, a tracksuit or a suit for formal events. In fact I did not think he owned anything but those three items I mentioned. I did not understand how the Chernyshevsky-Coleman family was so pretty that I almost felt bad for punching him, it was wrong to punch a woman.

"I expect not to hear a word from you throughout our entire flight," I straightened my shoulders then sat down. My body immediately sunk through the seats and I could not help but groan. This was comfortable, ridiculously so.

"We're meant to bond," he grinned then sat opposite me as he strapped on his seatbelt. "That means no rude comments for the entirety of our trip."

"Then I guess we're barely going to last," I rolled my eyes and ordered a beer from the hostess. If I was half drunk throughout the trip maybe it could make it more bearable.
