[Starting Split]

I frown as I look over a new tab that has made itself known in my system... my peerage.

Peerage:

Rook 1: Virgo:

Mood: is pleased that she isn't dying and hopes that she will be punished soon. This apparently being a new world is a little shocking, but a small part of her wishes to explore it as her previous master had kept her within his mansion in a grotesque form.

Special Effects:

Magical Growth:

Virgo is a celestial spirit, or she was before you turned her into a devil, and celestial spirits grow stronger the stronger their summoner is and the more magic power they are given. You gave her quite a bit of magical power when you first summoned her, making her far stronger than she used to be, but then you enhanced her even further with an Evil piece. She now passively grows stronger by merely existing. Regardless of training or exertion. Not a by lot, mind you, but over the course of centuries, her power grows quite a bit.

"Hn." I hum.

It doesn't actually give me her stats annoyingly.

I shake my head, closing the screen and look to the pink potion sat before me, letting out a quiet sigh.

It's done.

My fertility potion is complete.

According to the spell 'you guarantee that on your next attempt, you and your partner will conceive a child. Conception overcomes sterility or infertility in either you or your partner, whether natural or due to an injury, illness, or curse, as well as herbal remedies that normally block conception.'

This is really good.

My new pink haired head maid-slash-rook opens the door. "My lord, a woman by the name of Serafall is here to see you."

"Oh, let her in-"

Virgo is shoved out of the way, earning a quiet moan from the girl.

Serafall stands there in her normal magical girl attire, a smile on her face. "Tah dah! Miricle Levia-tan is here to save the day!"

"Hello Sera-tan." I wave with a small smile.

She practically reappears beside me and squishes my head into her breasts. "You did sooo good yesterday! You averted a biiiig travesty!"

"N-No problem." I mutter, voice muffled by her tit-age. "So what brings you here?"

"Can I not visit my adorable Gai-Tan whenever I want?" She asks. "Does there really need to be something that I need?"

"I... guess not." I blink.

'my adorable Gai-tan', huh?'

"Oh!" I cheer as I begin to struggle slightly in her grasp. "I've got something to show you!"

She lets me go as I pick up the pink potion.

"oooh, another potion, huh? What's this one do? Better healing? Strengthening?"

"If I'm right about it, what it should do is allow someone to make a baby one hundred percent of the time when they fuck someone."

"Hah?" The magical girl blinks as Virgo slowly steps into the room.

"Would you like for me to make some Tea, Master?" The maid asks.

"That would be nice, Virgo." I nod.

"As you wish." She nods as she quickly turns around and walks out of the room.

"Y-Y-You're not joking, right?! Fertility potions?!" The satan asks.

"I believe that's how they work, yes." I nod. "I'm not sure if they do work, though... I haven't been able to test it, but it should work as intended."

I grab two more bottles from my spatial storage. "Wanna test it out?"

She stares at the three bottles on the table for a moment before she seemingly comprehends what I just said.

"Gai-tan you dirty little boy! You know my body's for So-tan!" She replies.

I give her a dry blink. "I was talking about you giving them to someone and checking back later to see if they worked."

"…''

"What were you thinking about?" I ask with a small smug smirk.

"I found the folder hidden inside of your art tab inside of the homework tab hidden inside the work tab." The Satan states with a small huff as she crosses her arms over her chest.

I freeze. 'Wait... didn't I have some risky pictures of seraf-'

Oh shit.

I notice her slightly smug grin at my steadily approaching embarrassed blush.

"If you wanted some pictures, Gai-tan you could have just asked!"

I clear my throat. "Ah, well, yes. Back to business. Please figure out if those work. If they do, I become the most valuable man in the underworld."

The Satan frowns down at the three potions. "You... probably would... we'll have to negotiate on what I can offer you after I see if they work, though."

"That's perfectly fine." I nod.

"As for another matter, Gaius... would you like to have your name withheld from the news of Diodora's death? Both have their advantages and disadvantages."

"Hmm... I'm fine with either. Just leave out that I was the one who supplied evidence of his misdeeds."

"Speaking of which... can I ask why you were spying on the Astaroth heir?"

"I was a little concerned with how all of his peerage members were recently excommunicated nuns and holy maidens after I did a bit of research on potential allies and foes around my age." I state. "I decided to do a brief investigation and when I got the first video that showed how much he tormented them, I maaaayhaps got a bit more suspicious."

"I'm glad you did, Gaius." The woman sighs. "That could have been a great disaster."

"I'm happy to help!" I grin.

[Split]

Serafall actually stayed a little longer than she normally does that day... that was nice.

I let out a low click as I look to the large machine steadily producing potions before me.

Cure moderate wounds potions.

This machine will make three every eight hours.

It took about two weeks to get the materials and to build it, but it was all for free, baby!

In the game, they are more than twice as powerful as the regular healing potions... I'm not sure how much stronger they'll be here. Perhaps a simple two times, maybe more? Who knows.

But I'm able to get the items required to produce them for quite cheap, so I think I'll send the first batch to the Sitri's for testing.

I force myself to myself to my feet as the magic circle in front of me glows brightly. "Master, it appears Miss Leviathan has returned to negotiate with you... she has brought Lord Lucifer with her as well."

"So, they work, hn?" I mutter to myself.

I was sure they would, but there was the small part of me that thought they wouldn't. That devils would be different. An unexpected variable the system didn't account for.

I step into the teleportation circle and with a flash we both leave the room, reappearing in the foyer.

"Sera, Satan Lucifer." I smile to the two as Virgo stands behind me with her hands folded behind her back.

"I assume that the potions work due to the fact that you are both here." I slowly mutter.

"Yes. They have."

"I see." I slowly blink as I gesture towards up the stairs. "Let's go to my office then the negotiation may begin. Virgo, could you make us some tea?"

"As you wish, Master."

I turn to the stairs and calmly walk up them. "To be honest, I wasn't sure that the potions would work."

"I was sure they wouldn't be harmful, yet I was unsure about the whole fertility thing actually working beyond a simple ten to fifty percent or so increase overall... and with devil birth rates less than one percent... a simple one point one or one point five percent didn't seem like much of a change."

I open the door to my office and gesture towards two fancy chairs before a large wooden desk.

I sit down behind the desk and let out a low hum as I look through one of the drawers and pull out a large suit case as the two satans sit down before me.

I click it open and turn it around.

Sat within the briefcase are twenty pink potions.

Fertility potions.

The two devils eyes widen at the sheer number of potions within.

"So. What are you willing to offer me for these?" I ask with a small smile.

Sirzechs looks up with a frown. "You could realistically ask for anything in the underworld with even this number of potions."

"I see." I slowly mutter.

I let out a low click. "Well, there's honestly not much I want... I'm sort of satisfied with my life right now."

I scratch my chin. "I have been wanting to learn some stuff... so how about you trade for some important stuff that you wouldn't mind me breaking as I try to figure it out."

"Valuable things that you can break..." Serafall blinks.

"Yep." I nod. "Like, magical swords and the like... stuff that you wouldn't be all that torn up about when they disappear forever. That sort of stuff."

"Hnnnn." I hum as I scratch my chin. "And I trust you will handle the fallout of anything drastic to a certain family that has slighted me, broke several agreements with my family, stole my family's lands and has refused to reach out to me despite the ample time I have given them?"

"What?" Sirzechs blinks, seemingly out of the know despite being the head of domestic affairs.

"Oh, just the Phenex family... my dear Fiancée married her own brother after merely one month of my disappearance, breaking the eighth section of the devil dispute act instead of the required six months after an ambiguous disappearance. Then the utter fools never officially cancelled it beyond that so now we have to deal with infidelity as my current as of this very moment fiancée now has four children with another man."

"…"

The door to our left is opened as Virgo appears with a tea set.

She sits the kettle on the desk, followed shortly by three saucers and three cups, then a small bowl with cubes of sugar.

She bows slightly. "Will this be all, master?"

"Yes, thank you Virgo. You may go if you wish."

She nods and turns, walking out of the room. "I will go entertain myself then."

I pour some tea into each cup and let out a quiet sigh before lifting my own and taking a quiet sip. "I wouldn't be so utterly miffed about this had they reached out on their own and renegotiated the marriage contract, I am not unreasonable, yet they have utterly ignored me and spit in my face."

"As long as you do not take too ridiculous of an action... I will support you." Serafall nods.

"I as well." Sirzechs agrees.

He's probably already scheming about how to use this to get Rias out of her marriage contract.

"As for the actual price... you have given us... I suppose we could indeed do that." Serafall mutters. "How many are you able to make?"

"I'd prefer not to make many, as wouldn't that strain the strained peace we have between the heavenly faction and the Grigori?"

"It would..." The woman mutters as she cups her chin. "It would be best to only use these to create clan heirs with powerful clan traits. And use them sparingly at that. Enough that they are actually useful, and few enough that it would just seem like luck. Many would see the devil race amassing numbers as a threat."

"Fifty vials." I state. "I'll make fifty vials in total. These twenty included. Once you run out of those, I'll make some more."

"I will be willing to give you five now as a down payment, then the other forty-five as you pay for them."

"I see... in that case, I believe it would be best for us to return tomorrow to pay you and purchase the remaining fifteen in your possession."

"Alright, I will be expecting you then."

[Split]

A quest has been completed.

Ahhh... it feels good.

One of the larger goals I've had is finally done.

And with it, I've gotten almost as big of a reward from the whole Diodora thing...

It sort of makes sense if you think about it, Diodora was an entire sub plot later on, me beating him here in such a thorough way really fucks with the timeline. No excommunicated Asia. No Issei juggernaut drive. No Issei at all as when I settle my matters in the underworld, I'll hunt him down and murder him- ah right. Quests.

The most powerful man in the underworld:

Fertility potions. An impossible item. Many alchemists have tried and failed to produce something that works as intended. But they're not you. Show the world your absolute importance.

Objectives:

Give the Fertility potion to Serafall: [x]

Wait for her to give it to someone and check the results: [x]

Profit: [x]

Rewards: 15000 Electrum, this is an 'impossible' action so it counts as 1 Mythic Trial.

Your Mythic Tier has gone up by 1.

Useful.

What can I purchase with my newfound electrum... two levels easily, unlocking my next clan trait abilities, and fifth level spells. But a third level is just out of reach...

Or it would be.

I look to twenty swords of assorted lengths, weights, and cultural style sat before me.

All of them are fairly powerful magical swords. Each estimated to be around a plus eight sword... however, there are some outliers.

Hrunting (Reproduction)

The original swords of Beowulf were broken and long ago, yet the devils got their hands on broken remains of some of them, this is the result of their attempts to reforge the legendary blade Hrunting. It was a success; the blade was recreated with only a slight decrease in overall power. Using the same method several clones of the blade were created, albeit with decreased power overall. The user of this blade has their physical statistics magically increased by +2

Hardness: 20

Health: 55

Weight: 4 Lbs

Damage: 4d8+20+Str*2

Crit Range: 19-20.

I don't even know where to place this in levels of strength...

It's definitely beyond a plus ten... The damage is more than a plus five sword with the bane, holy, Vicious, and an elemental effect. Then you take in the fact that it increases stats like those bulls strength items.

It's like a plus fifteen or so?

And this is a reproduction... one of the CLONES of Hrunting with 'Decreased Power'.

They gave me two of these...

Just imagine how powerful Durandal or the Excalibur fragments are... hell, what about the 'most powerful holy sword' Caliburn

I'm absolutely selling one to the auction, as for the other? I think I may just make it a 'legendary item'.

Then I'll have some money to burn and not just one, but two extremely powerful weapons.

Actually, I have a lot of money to burn anyways. System purchase two levels.

Affirmative.

With those levels, I've got fourth level sorcerer spellcasting and level five demonic magic spellcasting.

Let's check out my new abilities.

Level 9 Malthus Clan Ability:

Enchantment Specialist: (Mythic)

'Enchantment Lottery' Special Quality is granted to you for free, the rates of 'Heart of the Forge' Double. (Note: any increased probability to chances of 100% or greater are instead moved to the next level of enhancement.

Enchantment Lottery: Whenever you create a magic item you may freely deicide to 'Randomize' the special quality gained via enchantment depending on the total amount you are enchanting the blade, thus if you improve it to +1, and grant it a '+1 enchantment', instead of a simple 'Frost' or 'Fire' enchantment, you could potentially unlock something like the +1 enchantment, 'Mana Blade', or the 'Lesser Strengthening' enchantment.

Note: after you get a certain effect with 'Enchantment Lottery' you may reproduce said effects in future works without relying on Enchantment Lottery.

Level 9 Decarabia Ability

Mythic Phoenix Cry (Mythic): (Active)

At level 9 you gain the ability to condense your regenerative powers into liquid form and create powerful potions which heal the wounds of whoever the tears drop on. due to your mythic powers, these tears also restore the stamina and recharges the magic of whoever uses them and cures any disease or poison afflicting the target.

When you use this ability to create a Phoenix Tear, you must have one specially prepared container filled with enchanted water alongside magical ingredients to preserve the tear. the typical cost of this special concoction is around 20000 GP

Note: When you use this ability, your regeneration is temporarily lowered by 5 for an hour, to a minimum of 0.

A smile slowly splits my face.

Well now...

I can unlock new enchantments... plus I can make far better Phoenix Tears.

With that the Phenex family gets kicked down another step in the devil hierarchy.

With this, I could reasonably bust in there and demand for them to give me stuff. The satans will lose nothing if they support me. The reason the phenex family is so untouchable is because 'oho, better not offend me, otherwise we won't make phoenix tears anymore!' But now? With the fact that I can make better phoenix tears? They lose a lot of their political weight. That's for sure.

But do I want to escalate?

"Hmmm."

That is a really good question, I suppose.

I should. but at the same time, don't they have an ultimate class family member somewhere in the household? Ruval or something?

Hn. That's a little bothersome.

I'll auction my items and get some more cool stuff... then I'll make a decision after that.

I look to my mythic path and let out a quiet sigh.

I really want to make this blade better, but at the same time, other mythic abilities are a lot better.

'is there some shop upgrade which I can buy to make this viable?'

Realistic Legendary Items (Cost: 25000 Electrum)

Legendary Items are... underwhelming... these are supposed to be the all-powerful weapons the Mythic characters can use to kill gods! Yet at the end of the day, really the only good enhancement there ever was is the one that lets you double a weapon's damage for a limited number of times per day, NOT ANYMORE! This gives you REAL options with each legendary item, this makes it FEEL like whatever item you choose to be a legendary item legitimately matters because it DOES matter, gone are the days where a legendary item only has 17 options to pick from, 5 of those literally the same thing, try THOUSANDS of options!.

"Oh."

Cowabunga it is.
