As the instructor's voice echoed through the clearing, signaling the end of the day's grueling training, Jinhu exhaled a long breath, relief washing over him. His hand, trembling from the exertion, slipped from his head, and he splashed some cool river water onto his face.
"Finally," he mumbled, barely audible over the gentle ripples.
The other students slowly rose from the hot spring, their faces etched with pain and exhaustion. Seung, Jaemin, Jinhu, and Sunny dragged themselves back toward the academy, their footsteps heavy as they trudged through the dense forest.
But Seung's mind wasn't in the forest. He couldn't stop thinking about what had just happened. Push-ups, a kilometer run, the hot spring—how had he done it all?
