Chapter 1

In Universe 7 there are many powerful beings, to such an extent that they challenge even the gods, these are composed of a remarkable species, the Saiyajin, to such an extent that there is not even a debate when discussing who is the most powerful of the Universe outside the God of Destruction, but what if someone appeared who challenges this Status Quo to turn their hegemony and be able to compete against them and even overcome them?

Well, it is under this premise that our story begins.

(Year 776)

In a very distant and remote place in universe 7, there is a kind of temple. This is located in a giant tree, which in turn is planted on the tip of a large rock, which is in the central part of the base of a giant inverted floating pyramid; around it there is an extensive and natural valley, designed in the manner of a kind of park in which are relatively abundant shrubs and trees, along with a lake.

In this place are the God of Destruction of Universe 7, now plunged into a deep sleep, and his assistant and master Whis, the angel of Universe 7. At that moment, the latter was taking a walk in the temple garden, when at that moment, a great tremor shook the entire planet, at that moment some sort of individual had appeared out of nowhere there.

"Oh my." Whis said as he approached the stranger who had appeared in his garden.

This was a tall, muscular fellow dressed in some sort of red suit with a strange symbol on his chest, he possessed a pale blue complexion and short white hair. However, the most mysterious thing about this fellow was that he seemed to emit a kind of ki similar to that of the gods, but not quite similar.

"Excuse me, I'm going to have to ask you to leave here, this is no place to be sleeping around." Whis said to him, while lightly touching him to wake him up.

At that moment, the mysterious individual woke up.

[MIRA POV]

My name is..., I can't remember it, the only thing I remember is that I was a big fan of Dragon Ball, to the point that I owned all the manga and movies in physical format and I had seen all the series, including Super and GT, even though the latter was not canon, I loved the Dragon Ball saga and kept a very special place in my heart until one day I finally came to the end, I fell off the roof while trying to fix the antenna and after that I don't remember anything else only darkness.

I thought I had indeed died, so imagine my surprise when I came face to face with Whis.

"Where am I?" I said as I repositioned myself on the floor and grabbed my head due to a throbbing pain I felt in my head.

"Well, hello there, my name is Whis and I am the personal assistant to the God of Destruction, excuse me, but I'm going to have to ask you to leave, you're crushing the flowers." He said and at that moment I realized he was right, now it makes sense why I felt so comfortable on the ground.

"Oh, my apologies, I didn't mean to, but being honest I don't know how I landed here, or where I am exactly." I said finally standing up and doing a mini 90° bow to apologize.

"Oh what a unique circumstance you find yourself in, I inform you that you landed in the temple of the God of Destruction Beerus. I would like to know your name if it is not too much trouble, after all we don't have many guests usually and I would like to at least know your name."

"My name is.." As I was thinking of a name, something caught my attention my hands were now blue and I'm sure as hell they weren't this big before, what happened? To find out the answer to this question I moved to see my reflection in the lake and what I saw I couldn't believe it. I'm Mira from the Dragon Ball Xenoverse video game? Now that's a surprise, but a very pleasant one. If I'm in this Universe I have to do the only thing characters like Goku or Vegeta know how to do, get stronger, the question is how do I do it' I thought until I turned to look again at Whis who seemed to be now distracted with the flowers in the bushes. 'Bingo'

"Hey Whis." I said catching the angel's attention. "My name is Mira, please could you train me?" I said leaning back in a perfect 90° angle.

[END OF MIRA POV]

That really put Whis off, after all his last student had been the one who is currently his boss, however, he was also overcome with curiosity.

"Oh and tell me, what would be your reason for wanting me to train you or more importantly why should I train you? After all if you ask me to train you it's because you evidently think I'm more powerful than you, don't you?" said Whis with a very calm tone, typical of him.

'Shit, he's looking behind my intentions, there's no other way, I'll have to bullshit my way through.' Mira thought at the time.

"Well, although I'm no expert, you seem like a strong guy, well, actually very strong, so I sense that if you really wanted me gone you would have kicked me out already without any complications..." He said look until he stopped momentarily to see Whis' expression which simply remained a mix between stoic and serious, so he kept talking.

"Besides if you train me I'm willing to get you anything you want, be it riches, land or food." That's when Mira saw Whis' expression change to one more interested in the latter. 'Gotcha.' He thought.

"And what do you think Mr. Whis?" Mira asked, to which Whis didn't instantly respond as if stopping to think over his options, until after a few seconds, he finally made up his mind.

"Well I must say you are certainly an interesting individual, ho ho ho, however, I will train you on 1 condition." Whis said in an equally tone but with a slightly more serious edge.

'A condition, will be what I think it is? If his character is even somewhat similar to how he was in Super, maybe it is.' Mira thought internally.

"I will train you only if you are willing to become the next God of Destruction."

"WHAT?" our bluish protagonist shouted a bit elated, before pulling himself together and clearing his voice.

"Sorry but I don't understand, you want me to be the next God of Destruction?"

Well sure, after all Lord Beerus, he won't be forever and being honest the fact that he has been for thousands of years, has made him more interested in eating and taking naps than destroying." Whis said with a casual tone, as if he was talking about the weather.

"So, how about that Mira, do you accept?"

To which with a small smile, he replied. "Yes, I accept."

"Very well, however there is one more condition I forgot to mention earlier."

'What? One more?' "Ok, what is it?

"After every training you will have to make me a delicious dish in return." Whis said with a big smile, to which Mira just nodded.

"Well let's start then with some light sparring." Whis said which surprised Mira.

"We'll start with a fight already?"

"Well sure, after all I don't know what your exact strength level is or what your exact proficiency level in martial arts is." Said the angel with a slight smile.

Which made Mira sigh, still not discouraging him.

"Ok, when do I start?"

"Anytime." Whis said, and then got into a pose where he had one of his arms slightly extended forward with his hand open, while the other was in a more neutral position.

'Ok easy, just go with it all it's like learning to walk, it's instinctive... I guess.' Mira thought before launching herself at high speeds at Whis.

(1 minute later)

Mira finds himself lying on the ground again, in the same place where he appeared with several scratches and unconscious, while Whis looks at him with some disappointment above him.

"(Sigh), he's got a long way to go." Said simply this one, as he grabbed his new disciple and carried him to another place to rest comfortably.

This has been an idea that has been in my mind for a while by now, I hope you enjoy it.
