"Alright! I finally found you guys!" Goku said, approaching the team.
"Chi-Chi? What are you-"
BOOM!
The missile struck the mountain explosively in the middle completely decimating everything upwards from it.
A small gas cloud flew from the explosion, the veil of fire over the mountain disrupted.
"MY PALACE!" the Ox-King cried out, watching his home explode.
Bongo remained unfazed, reloading his rocket launcher and firing another missile at the mountain.
BOOM!
BOOM!
Fire Mountain was struck continuously, a series of missiles exploding the rock ruthlessly, only satisfied until the entire structure was levelled.
"My room..." Chi-Chi said distantly, staring at the now flat plain of the land.
"Who did this?" the Ox-King said softly.
Bulma looked at Oolong and Goku blankly before looking back at the Ox-King.
"WHO DID THIS!?" he bellowed, completely irate.
Bongo who was not far away heard the screaming man and smiled to himself, walking away slowly.
"I-It was probably King Gerumes' army," Bulma said, thinking quickly.
"Who?" the Ox-King said harshly.
"Evil guys who are looking for the Dragon Balls, the orange orb I was telling you about earlier," Bulma explained.
As if on cue several pickpockets deployed by Pasta dropped down from the sky, all working together and clearing a path for the rubble revealing a shiny orange orb with seven stars on it.
"Hey, that's the Dragon Ball!" Oolong said, sharply watching.
PSH!
The team could only watch as the Spybots rocketed back to a helicopter that quickly flew away.
"There they go!" Oolong exclaimed.
"We have to stop them!" Bulma said, running back to her motorcycle.
"But the vehicle's totalled!" Oolong exclaimed.
"Oh please!" Bulma said fiddling with her bike causing it to spark back to life.
"What kind of Genuis Inventor do you take me for? Hop on! We need to get going!" Bulma said, calling Oolong.
"Take me with you," the Ox-King said in a deep voice.
Bulma was slightly surprised but didn't resist, enabling the emergency expansion function on her bike.
"Let's get our Dragon Ball back!"
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Ah! Pasta! You have returned! How many of the Dragon Balls have you collected?" King Gerumes said eagerly.
The sooner all 7 were gathered the sooner he could wish his hunger away.
"Only three sir but-"
"THREE!???" King Gerumes bellowed.
"Yes sir but the remaining four are coming to us! A brat managed to collect most of them and she's on her way to come and get the last few! I've already commanded the army to take defensive measures, you'll have your wish in no time!" Pasta reported calmly.
She had beat the girl to a cave in the northeast, managed to steal another from a little blue imp and his goons. The last dragon ball from fire mountain ensured that the girl would have no other option but come to them if she wanted her wish.
King Gerumes breathed out, rubbing his temples.
"Get them quickly!" He ordered.
"Yes sir!" Pasta said before turning and leaving.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bulma and the team were currently flying in an aerodynamic people carrier, barely fitting in the small two-seater. Bulma had decided it was much safer to leave Pansy at her village as it was simply too dangerous for children to be running around when explosions were happening every few minutes.
Oolong sat in the Ox-King's lap with a peeved expression on his face while Bulma barely resisted the urge to laugh. Up and behind Goku followed the transformed vehicle with Chi-Chi who was still clutching his clothes.
"We're so high up!" she said, scared to look down.
"Uh-huh!" Goku said, focusing on steering the Nimbus.
"Aren't you scared?" Chi-Chi asked, not getting how Goku was so calm.
"Nope!" Goku replied simply.
Chi-Chi admired Goku's courage, finding something within herself and stood up, balancing on Goku's head.
"The Palace!" she called out, looking ahead.
King Gerumes' palace was much higher than the ground level around it, the surrounding atmosphere all mined away in search of blood rubies under the closed eye of the King.
Streams of grey smoke wafted to the sky as machines worked the land, even more, searching and searching for Blood Rubies.
Pasta looked at the reading on the machine and called out.
"Destroy that aircraft immediately! We can take the remaining Dragon Balls from the wreckage!" she called.
"Ah! Some scary things are coming!" Chi-Chi said, her keen eyes spotting many fighter jets on the skyline.
"Maybe they just wanna say hi," Goku said, sitting calmly underneath.
Pew! Pew! Pew!
Clink! Clink! Clink!
A torrent of bullets raced towards the Dragon Team while streams of bullet shells pooled on the ground like water.
"That's not good!" Oolong said fearfully.
"Oh please! Do you have any faith in me at all?" Bulma said, pressing buttons.
"Nope!" Oolong said honestly.
SHHWRM!
A thin blue forcefield materialised around the ship, causing the bullets to harmlessly bounce off.
"Any words Oolong?" Bulma said slyly, expecting a 'thank you'.
"Nope!" Oolong said honestly.
"This is quite the doo-hickey you've got going here!" The Ox-King said, looking at the blue and yellow lights, not quite sure what was happening.
"AHHH! Slow down! Stop turning!" Chi-Chi screamed, unable to handle the rapid and sudden movements on the Nimbus Cloud, her heart beating quickly.
"I can't!" Goku protested, knowing that Chi-Chi could get hurt if he wasn't careful.
He flew the Nimbus forward, using his keen eyesight and slender body to weave the bullets flying towards him, Chi-Chi forcefully copying his movements by grabbing onto his clothes.
'This is actually pretty good training!' Goku thought, working up a sweat.
They reached the castle, suddenly having to turn and weave to avoid it.
WSH!
'Huh? What's that sound?' Goku and Chi-Chi thought at the same time as they heard whirring in the distance.
They peered around the corner to see a huge Captain Bongo spinning around a long metal pole with two huge chunks at the ends.
"Oh? Some kids?" Bongo said aloud.
He didn't even hesitate.
Bongo flew forward, controlling his hoverboard and brought down an overhead smash on Goku who barely blocked it with his Power Pole, feeling the strain in his arms.
'This guy is so strong! I can't beat him like this!'
Goku knew his best bet was to regroup and fight him on land, not in air where Bongo could hit high all the time. Although he would love to fight, especially with someone else behind him, he couldn't take any risks.
The Nimbus Cloud responded to Goku, helping him evade the ruthless Captain who flew behind trying to strike Goku and Chi-Chi.
"Uh-oh!" Bulma sighed, looking at her screen worriedly.
"'Uh-Oh?' Why Uh-oh?" Oolong shouted, fearfully.
"So you're not going to believe this but it turns out I forgot to fill up the gas so..."
Almost prophetically, the force field dropped.
Bullets smashed Bulma's ship from all sides, causing it to nosedive the engine bursting completely, Bulma's control allowing the ship to smoothly arc over the ground in front of the castle.
Pew! Pew! Pew!
Clink! Clink! Clink!
Out of cleverly constructed holes in the Palace walls, the soldiers of King Gerumes' army shot mercilessly at the ship, making holes in it.
"We're gonna die!" Oolong said, completely scared.
"Guess it's my turn to do something," the Ox-King said, tucking Oolong under his left arm.
He punched the door on the left side of the aeroplane and ripped Bulma's seatbelt with one swipe. He quickly grabbed her and left the aeroplane, landing on the ground quickly and sprinting as fast as he could.
Bulma quickly grabbed her purse, not wanting to leave the Dragon Balls behind and covered her head.
Very few of the soldiers saw this in time, continuing to shoot at the plane without a pilot causing it to explode.
"HMPH!" the Ox-King grunted loudly as he approached a palace wall, he jumped up and drop kicked it, breaking it apart with his bare feet. He regained his balance and stood up dropping Bulma and Oolong.
"That was awesome! You totally saved us!" Bulma said, impressed with the Ox King's movements.
Not even she was bold enough to pull off such a stunt even if she did have the strength.
Oolong stared at the Ox-King in awe, not wanting to pour cold water on the mood by saying they should have been dead 30 times over.
"You can't get away from me!" Bongo said, chasing the pair of kids while brandishing his weapon.
Goku stopped and started carefully, dodging Bongo's attacks.
"That applies to you too girly!"
Chi-Chi growled gripping the blade on her helmet.
"Leave us alone!" she shouted throwing it at him.
Captain Bongo scoffed.
He leaned right, dodging the attack easily but later moved back into position on his hoverboard, allowing the axe head to curve back and tear his hoverboard in half under his feet.
"Fuck!"
That was the end of Captain Bongo.
Chi-Chi raised her hand at the right time, catching the blade and putting it back.
"Wow! You're super smart!" Goku praised, impressed by the simple trick.
"T-Thank you!" Chi-Chi said blushing.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PSH!
A missile exploded on one of the doors on the outside of King Gerumes' palace.
A "Capsule Corp" hoverbike whirred in, flying through the gap and quietly scaling one of the walls.
"Shoot the intruder!" a soldier commanded, shooting at the bike.
BOOM!
The hoverbike exploded under Yamcha's feet, propelling him forward onto a ridge of the Palace. Several soldiers pulled out their guns as Yamcha soared through the air but he quickly brought out a pair of nunchucks and smashed them into the soldiers' faces .
Yamcha ran as fast as he could into a section of the palace, finding a room stacked with blood rubies.
"What are you doing?" Puar asked.
"Grab as many rubies as you can carry!" Yamcha said, fleeing the building.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"This isn't good!"
"The ship was empty and there were no orbs in them!"
Two soldiers turned a corner, checking their part of the palace, making sure that the intruders hadn't ventured in this way.
"BOO!" Oolong said, disguised as a huge twelve-foot monster.
"AAAAAHHHH!" the soldiers screamed before fainting on the ground, their mouths frothing in the process.
"I knew having a shapeshifter would come in handy!" Bulma said, thankful that she had recruited Oolong.
"That's a neat trick buddy!" the Ox-King said, patting Oolong on the back.
Oolong smiled, pleased with himself.
He could hear footsteps around the corner.
"BOO!"
"BOO!"
"AHHHHHH!" everyone, besides the Ox-king, screamed, seeing monsters on both sides.
"Puar?"
"Oolong?"
They both transformed back into their original forms, calming everyone down.
Bulma sighed relieved, happy that the huge monsters were friendly.
"Hey! Your that cutie from earlier!" Bulma said accusingly, pointing a finger at Yamcha.
"M-Me?" Yamcha said, reverting to his tomato state.
"End of the line kiddos!" Pasta said, pointing a gun at Bulma.
"Hand over the Dragon Balls!" she said loudly.
"No way!" Bulma retorted, hiding her purse behind her back.
"You got guts kid, too bad I've got to spill em!" she said, shooting at her.
"Hmph!"
"Hmph!"
Yamcha and the Ox-King acted quickly, the latter using his large and rotund body to tank the bullets while the former wall-ran and attacked Pasta.
"Wolf Fang Fist!" he shouted, randomly thrusting strikes in every direction smashing his right hand against Pasta's gun and left hand against Pasta's helmet causing it to break.
"Ah!" Yamcha exclaimed, realising his hand had somehow reached the breast of Pasta.
Pasta's helmet broke, revealing her long red hair and her deep black eyes.
Yamcha immediately stumbled back and froze, realising he was attacking a woman.
And a beautiful one at that.
Pasta didn't respect this at all and promptly drop-kicked him, sending him crashing towards the Ox-King who blocked Bulma like an unshakeable pillar.
Pasta kissed her teeth and pulled out a grenade from under her vest and chucked it.
"RUN!" the Ox-King shouted, beckoning the team to move forward.
Boom!
Boom!
Boom!
Pasta threw grenade after grenade, not caring that she was doing extremely harmful damage towards the castle.
The Dragon Team fled, Bulma pulled out the Dragon Radar and coordinated their movements, taking them to the throne room in one swoop.
The Ox-King saw the door in front of him and brought it down with one fist.
"Pasta! You have-"
"WHO ARE YOU, PEOPLE!" King Gerumes erupted, his hunger and anger spiralling out of control.
King Gerumes climbed out of his throne and stumbled forward before gripping his chest as he felt his heart palpitating wildly, making him feel as if it was going to explode.
"AARRRRRRGGGGGH!"
King Gerumes transformed from his former 5-foot green state and into a huge purple twelve-foot monster, his skin turning purple as he belly grew wider, threatening to flatter all that was in front of him.
"Kamehameha!" Goku shouted, flying in and blasting the monster with a thick wave of energy. He didn't need to be told anything, his instincts kicking in the second he found his friends.
Goku jumped off his Nimbus Cloud, following the beam and dumping all of his ki into one attack.
"HAAAA!" he shouted as the beam thickened, becoming a quarter of the size of Master Roshi's attack. The blue smoke cleared and King Gerumes still stood tall, motioning towards them menacingly.
"GRAAAAH!" he roared incoherently.
Goku and the Ox-King jumped forward at once, both latching onto his arms restraining them temporarily.
'Wait a minute! If that's the case then!'
Bulma noticed something and heaved the purse at King Gerumes, his wide mouth already open for her to smoothly shoot it into.
"I summon the Eternal Dragon! Shenron!"
