Shenron! (105)

DSH!

DSH!

A storm of lightning swirled around King Gerumes' castle, bright blue energy travelling far and wide. All seven dragon balls that were trapped in King Gerumes' stomach shined brightly being visible from the outside.

"I don't feel so good! BLEEEEEH!"

A column of bright yellow light burst out of King Gerumes' mouth, rapidly expanding and engulfing his whole body.

"Whaaaa-"

The Dragon Team had no time to react as the stone and structures around them were all broken apart by the gentle yellow energy.

FYUM!

A single pillar of light arose from King Gerumes' castle, the light destroying the castle underneath as it was simply unable to match the reaction force necessary to support the emergence of the Dragon.

The pillar of light began curving, bending and in the sky creating a bright and blinding gleam.

Everyone on the land screwed the eyes shut, those that didn't permanently blinded as a shocking figure came into view.

Bulma looked up and her mouth fell wide open.

A huge sprawling green dragon with chilling red eyes snaked above King Gerumes' castle, long green whiskers wiggling as his nostrils flared.

"Who has united the seven balls and disturbed my slumber? Speak now and make your wish so I may return to my lair!" it shouted boldly, a powerful wave of wind washing over the land as its words were heard.

Panchy's eyes widened, seeing the great figure even from her own house.

But she was too far away.

She couldn't make her wish to restore her land from here.

'Please Bulma!' she begged.

'Please make my wish for me!' she thought, looking over her land which was absolutely devastated.

The people on the land stared at the Dragon in awe, too shocked to say a word.

"Why are you silent? Don't waste my time! SPEAK!" the Shenron roared angrily.

"Ah!"

"Ah!"

"Hwah!"

Many people woke up, realising the Legend was true and hurriedly began to think of something they wanted.

"I wish for you to restore Pancy's land! Make it 100, no, 1000 times more fertile and fruitful than it was before!"

A single voice broke out, calling upon the great Dragon's power.

"So be it!" Shenron shouted.

FSH!

FSH!

FSH!

The ground rumbled savagely, a sound that could only be produced from an earthquake, rose from the still land.

FSH!

Blood rubies of varying sizes broke away from the ground, all hovering in the air above and rushing to the same place, causing a huge red cluster to appear in the sky. Without grace they landed haphazardly on the floor, some travelling great distances as they tumbled forward, a gigantic pile formed.

Then a new wave of magical energy crawled over the land, causing the earth which was dry and dirty floor before to turn green, lush and vibrant grass suddenly spreading all over the kingdom.

"Your wish has been granted," Shenron said before dissipating into new streams of yellow energy, the seven Dragon Balls scattering across the sky.

"Now we need to find each one all over again!" Goku said, watching it disappear into the vast blue sky.

"Thank you, Shenron!" Pansy said, tears streaming from her eyes.

"Bulma!"

A short and thin man with thick-rimmed glasses and a long white lab coat burst into Bulma's bedroom, interrupting her studying.

"An awful and terrible thing has happened!" Dr Briefs said, looking as if he could have a stroke at any moment.

"Oh? What happened?" Bulma asked, looking away from her books.

"We've lost all our money!" Dr Briefs exclaimed.

"Our trust funds! Our bank savings! Even our investment settlements! We've been robbed!" Dr briefs said, shouting loudly.

"No, we haven't!" Bulma said simply.

"We haven't? Bulma look! My bank balance says zero! ZERO!" Dr Briefs said, showing Bulma the phone he invented, hyperventilating.

"My bank balance hasn't said zero in over 25 years!" he cried out, tears forming in his eyes.

"Dad stop panicking! I invested all of our money, you don't need to worry!" Bulma said reassuringly.

Dr Brief's heart dropped to his ballsack.

If his money was stolen as he previously thought, he would have been able to seek governmental support and legal action against his robbers but it turned out his daughter was the one responsible for his wealth vanishing.

There was no insurance for bad investments.

Bulma saw the look of complete devastation on her father's face and sighed.

"You know that place I told you about? Gurumes Country, I signed up their agricultural department up on the online open market and already spoke with some of your contacts, the money is in good hands," Bulma explained.

"Gurumes Country? Do you mean the place where the magical dragon showed up? Honey, what did tell about doing booger sugar? Tell me the truth, if you wanted me to invest in your business, you could have just asked," Dr Briefs said gently, now understanding Bulma had flushed all his money down the drain.

"I'm not on drugs! The reason I have so much confidence is that I have people selling Blood Rubies and so the company's economic growth is going to skyrocket, becoming a bajillion times greater than the silly farms on the outskirts of Alphabet Country," Bulma said confidently.

"Blood Rubies?" Dr Briefs said, his mid-life crisis put on hold.

His brain whirred for a few seconds as he processed what his daughter had just said.

"You sly little vixen! That's illegal you know! But make sure you sell the rubies over time if you sell them all at once you could crash the market on accident!" Dr Briefs said, now getting the ploy Bulma had performed.

"Obviously," Bulma said turning back to her work.

Dr Briefs chuckled as he thought about how much money he could make and what expansions he could make.

'If the market price for a blood ruby is about 103,250 Zeni and let's assume Bulma had around a hundred of these blood rubies. In the Open Market, there are ten thousand shares per company and if she invested every drop of cash we had that would put one share at about a one million Zeni, if she sold these rubies over time and put the money straight into the financial output of the company then one share would go up to around...'

"2.5 Million Zeni!" Dr Briefs screeched.

Bulma smiled, figuring out her dad had finally done the maths.

"Bulma you're a genius!"

"I know," she said quietly, facing her books.

"But you really did take everything we had! You're lucky I made doomsday preparations that can sustain us for the next 10 years, otherwise, I would have to magic up a new invention to save us," Dr Briefs said, breathing a sigh of relief.

Dr Briefs jumped for joy, realising that his daughter had just doubled his money.

"I want 2.5 Trillion Zeni in my account in a year's time," he said while walking out of the room.

"But-"!

"No buts! You took that money without asking after all!" Dr Briefs said, leaving Bulma's room.

"But-"

SLAM!

Dr Briefs closed the door to Bulma's room dramatically.

"Panchy! You'll never guess what just happened! We're rich!"

"We were already rich before darling"

Bulma heard her parents jubilate in the other room while she gritted her teeth.

'What was the point if he's going to swoop in and reap all the benefits?'

She angrily picked up her phone and dialled a number.

"H-Hello?" Yamcha said, his voice going up an octave.

"Pick me up in an hour, we're going to see a movie," Bulma said angrily.

"Oh-ok!" Yamcha said, his face going tomato.
