"It's ready," Mr Yellow said to Broly excitedly.
"Did we really need to make it this complicated?" Broly asked, content with the super armour he had already built. He squinted again at the results on his monitor, leaning forward in his chair.
"Yes! What scientist in the history of ever has settled for the inferior when they could make something superior?" Mr Yellow asked outraged.
"I think what Broly is trying to say is that he's already strong without the need of armour yet he made an incredibly strong one and now you want to make that armour even stronger. It's impossible for him to find a good opponent now," Queen Vegeta said somberly, leaning against the wall in the research room.
Broly smiled, looking honestly at Mr Yellow.
"Who invited her?" Mr Yellow said irritatedly.
"I invited myself, tin-can," Queen Vegeta said sourly.
Broly's smile grew even wider.
"Do you even understand what's going on?" Mr Yellow said, confronting Queen Vegeta.
Broly covered his mouth, forming his typical 'I wouldn't have that' expression while facing Queen Vegeta.
She smirked.
"As a matter of fact, I do," she said walking up to the screen depicting their research.
"The material the armour was made of before was a kind of composite, the crystals mixed with the metals Broly brought from Sythis but the Supercomputer concluded that since the crystals had similar physical makeups, a polymer material would be just as protective while enabling all of the special ki functions," Queen Vegeta said concisely.
"How did you know that?" Mr Yellow exclaimed surprisedly.
"I'm not a meathead," she responded simply.
"In any case," Broly said interrupting.
"Ultimately, a composite structure would be beneficial towards creating the most objectively defensive armour-"
"But you want to use the polymer structure instead because it would give you a broader range of tools and especially considering our Oozaru transformation, you'll most likely add a few alloys to give us the best range of techniques," Queen Vegeta said, reading Broly's thoughts.
"You're smarter than I thought," Mr Yellow said, relinquishing some ground.
"Broly banned me from going to the gym so I read up on the stuff you guys were doing, I know how to write as well," Queen Vegeta said, bragging slightly.
'Bragging about the ability to write? If you think so Queen,' Mr Yellow thought slyly, keeping his thoughts to himself.
"I'm hungry," Broly said aloud, changing the topic.
Queen Vegeta smiled.
"Same," she said, already leaving the room.
"You Saiyans are always hungry, that's just an excuse to-"
A stray ki blast made of pure white ki hit Mr Yellow squarely in the chest, making him fold forward before he regained his balance.
"The tin-can is really good for target practice," Queen Vegeta said, smirking as she made her way down across the hall.
"Stop calling me tin-can, you-"
Another stray ki blast hit him, this time hitting his face, making him go backwards.
Broly laughed, slightly amused.
"Don't talk to me ever again you traitor!" Mr Yellow said, leaving the pair of Saiyans and returning to the research room.
Broly chuckled.
"It's not that deep, I'll make it up to you later"
SLAM!
The door to the research room was closed shut.
"I'm sorry about him, he's a little-"
"Protective? Weird that you would programme him that way," Queen Vegeta said passingly.
"He made a serious of updates by himself, jacking himself into the Skynet and downloading a bunch of modifiers and information that I didn't put into him," Broly said tiredly.
It was becoming a problem.
"Is that so?" Queen Vegeta said rhetorically, pretending like she knew what Broly was talking about.
They both entered the cooking area but when Broly was about to step into the kitchen Queen Vegeta stopped him.
"I want to make something for you," she said, telling rather than asking as she stepped into the kitchen, leaving Broly at the dining table.
'That's hot,' Broly thought as his mind whirred and his face reddened.
Broly found this innocent gesture to turn him on much more than it was intended to, he wasn't sure why but anything Queen Vegeta did riled him up, causing him to feel strange.
He recollected his breath and sat down by the table.
"Tell me your secret," Queen Vegeta said, taking some vegetables out of the fridge.
'Secret? What secret?'
Broly wracked his brain before finally saying:
"Every time I put you in the Medical Machine, I look at your naked body," Broly said honestly.
"No, not that-"
Queen Vegeta processed his words.
"Every time!?" she said outraged, her face tomatoing as she narrowly avoided cutting herself.
"I'm sorry," Broly continued honestly.
'I knew he looked, maybe once or twice but not every time! So he is a man after all'
"Not that secret!" she forced out.
"Tell me how you're so strong," she said, recalling that she had never seen him genuinely attack her with full strength.
"That's a hard question to answer," Broly said honestly.
"We have some time, spill the tea," she said, sincerely wondering what supplementary drugs Broly had taken.
"Well, apparently, I'm the Legendary Super Saiyan," Broly said, slightly embarrassed to say it out loud.
Queen Vegeta's eyes widened.
She disappeared from the kitchen and reappeared in front of him, gripping his face with her two hands.
"The Legendary Saiyan that appears once every one thousand years!? Don't lie to me boy!" she said seriously, her expression extremely tense.
"It's true!"
Broly ripped the black band around his neck, allowing it to materialise into a tablet and quickly pulled up the camera footage as well as statistics from his Legendary Form.
Queen Vegeta practically snatched it out of his hands and looked at the screen, a plethora of thoughts going through her mind.
Her eyes fell on a green-haired Broly, taking in his dominating figure.
'It's true! Could have saved Planet Vegeta? No, he was too young! It's a miracle he made it out alive! And my idiot husband tried to kill him!'
"L-Legendary!"
Queen Vegeta felt her legs go limp as she saw Broly's statistics, completely in awe from how high his power level is.
Queen Vegeta dropped the tablet and gripped Broly's face again.
"You are the peak of Saiyan power! You have to help me kill Frieza!" she said, moving her face towards his face.
"Of course!" Broly responded, spurred on by the beautiful woman who was commanding him.
"This explains everything!" she said, hopping off the table and heading back to the kitchen.
'To think, I was rescued by the Legendary Super Saiyan!'
What were the chances?
Queen Vegeta continued to mumble to herself happily while she prepared dinner.
'She seems really happy now, I've should have said that earlier!' Broly thought in hindsight, realising he had kept his cards too close to his chest.
