Lord Beerus

"Can your miserable little brain comprehend why I'm so angry, Saiyan King?" Beerus asked, his foot firmly on the back of King Vegeta's.

The King himself looked worse for wear, his body injured all over as he cowered on the floor, shaking more than a cold, wet dog.

I don't know whether or not he didn't answer because he was too injured or too afraid. Either way, it annoyed Beerus even more.

"Answer me." The Destroyer demanded.

"Because I promised to fulfill your mission in time you gave me, Lord Beerus, but it took longer than I thought it would..." The King answered.

"Wrong." Beerus replied immediately, causing King Vegeta to whimper in fear.

"Father's being humiliated!" Vegeta muttered in disbelief. "How can he take that? Just who is the filth?!"

"Shut up, do you want him to hear you?!" I chastised the Prince of No One through gritted teeth.

I don't want to be Hakai'd out of existence just because you spoke too loud! Reincarnation God or not, I don't want to test out what happens after I die to a goddamn Hakai!

Beerus pushed the King's head down further before revealing to him what his error was.

"I consider myself a rather flexible deity. I know you mortals have your limitations, but there is one thing I cannot tolerate." Beerus started, his glare growing fiercer. "The callous arrogance of those who do not pay the respect a Destroyer is due."

Beerus then used his foot to smash King Vegeta's face into the ground, causing cracks to appear in the floor.

Vegeta's eyes widened in absolute shock at the scene before us whilst I winced at how much that must've hurt.

"I ordered you to find me the most comfortable pillow in all the universe, and I know for a fact you obtained it. Your tenacity was impressive, although your methods..." Beerus paused as he ground his foot atop of King Vegeta's head. "...a bit severe."

The Destroyer God removed his foot from the King's head and crouched down, grabbing him by his hair and making the fallen King look him in the eyes.

"I bet you don't even know how many creatures you killed in that raid."

The words that left Beerus' mouth caused my ears to perk up.

The raid?

Wait... That raid... It better not have been...

"Of course, being what I am, I could've accepted all that if you'd actually given me the best pillow instead of keeping it for yourself, and trying to fool me with the second best."

Beerus' grip tightened on the King's hair before he suddenly struck him in the gut, causing the King to yell out in absolute agony.

But I didn't even register that.

All I heard was that the entire raid that happened on that planet, the one that almost got me and my father killed, was all because of a fucking pillow. And to make matters worse, the idiot almost wiped Planet Vegeta off the map by trying to fool a fucking Destroyer God!

Zyleth's anger overflowed for brief moment, causing his Ki to leak out of his body.

Feeling the odd sensation radiating from the corner, Beerus glances over and saw two small Saiyan children standing behind some rubble.

They both looked angry, which was no concern of his, but one of their energies...

"Strange... I could've sworn..." Beerus muttered as he stared at the two children for a second before turning his gaze back to the arrogant King.

It wasn't just Beerus who had felt it either. Whis, who was on the far side of the room near the children, had also felt the strange sensation coming from the corner.

His gaze focusing on one of the two. The older one that was wearing a light green battle armor.

"Hmm..." Whis hummed as he tilted his curiously.

With my anger clouding my mind, I had failed to realize what would happen next as Vegeta suddenly yelled at the Destroyer.

"Bastard...! That is the King of all Saiyans!" He shouted before charging at Beerus.

My eyes widening as I realized my error, I reach my hand out to grab Vegeta, but I quickly pulled back once I saw that I still had my Time Ring look alike on my hand. Quickly pulling my hand back, I take off both the ring and my purple Potara earring and quickly put them into the space in my arm guard.

I look at the charging Vegeta, bracing myself for what's about to happen.

"AAAAAAAAHHHH!" Vegeta yelled at the top of his lungs.

Beerus looked over curiously, seeing Vegeta charging at him. He narrowed his eyes at him, which caused Vegeta's body to shut down and fall to the ground unconscious.

I really wanna know how to do that...

Looking at Vegeta, I think to myself that it actually might be better for him to do this in the long run, as that PTSD he has from this experience is what causes him to rightly fear Beerus when he arrives on Earth.

Seeing as I don't want to overstay my welcome, I quietly tip toe towards the window that Vegeta and I came in through.

"Hello there." I hear the familiar voice of Whis from behind me.

"Hi." I turned and greeted the Angel for a brief second as I continued to make my way out before my pupils shrank with realization. "Oh no..."

I turn around and see Whis standing over me with a smile on his face. Although that smile didn't make me feel the least bit better.

"Excuse me, but I was wondering if I could have a moment of your time? I have some questions I want to ask." The Angel said with a jovial tune.

Before I could even answer, my pupils shrank even more as I heard someone else walking up behind me.

"What are you doing, Whis?" The voice of Lord Beerus sounds off from behind me and I slowly turn around again to face him. "Huh? Who are you?"

His dead eyes staring at me as if I was lower than a worm sent shockwaves through my body as I panicked and shook.

I'm dead... So very, very dead...

"Don't make me repeat myself, child." Beerus said as his eyes bore straight through me.

A shiver went up my spine and I instantly bowed ninety degrees with enough force to cause a shift in the air. My gaze sits firmly on the floor as sweat dripped down my forehead.

"I praise thee, noble person! With all my praises and my thank yous!" Oh lord, am I quoting Goku?

"Well now, a Saiyan with some manners. Whis, I'm not dreaming, am I?" Beerus asked as he looked over at his attendant.

"No, my Lord. You are surprisingly awake." Whis replied with a shake of his head.

Unfortunately for me...

How did I even end up in this mess? I swear to god, if I die today... I'm gonna take Krillin with me...

Actually, was he even born yet?

Doesn't matter. I'll find a way.

"Right. But that still doesn't answer my question. Who are you?" Beerus repeated. "Actually..."

I could feel Beerus' focus his gaze on me and I freeze up more than an entire block of ice.

"Why do you look familiar?" He asked.

How the hell am I supposed to know, you overgrown bipedal sphinx?!

"I... I don't know, sir! I'm certain this is our first meeting!"

"Not sir. Lord." Beerus corrected with narrowed eyes. "You may call me Lord Beerus."

"Yes, Lord Beerus!" I replied promptly.

Beerus looked towards Whis with a small smirk adorning his face. "I like this one. So young, and yet he understands respect better than that so called 'King' over there." He said, pointing his thumb towards the unconscious Saiyan.

Goddamn it, how long am I supposed to bow like this? My back is getting tired...

"So it seems." Whis nodded in agreement before looking down at me. "But to answer your question, this was the one we saw, my Lord. The one whose battle led to the acquisition of your pillow." He told Beerus.

He saw that?!

"Ah, that's right. What was your name again...? Crylec?" Beerus asked as he licked his own hand, grooming himself.

"Zyleth, Lord Beerus." I replied.

"Zyleth, yes. Strange name for a Saiyan..." He said as he rubbed his chin and looked at me up and down. "Stand up straight, child."

Hearing this, I quickly stood up straight as an arrow with zero hesitation, my arms held at my sides as if I was a soldier. Beerus then began to circle around me, inspecting me as if I was some sort of exotic food.

"Are you sure this is the same one? His power is nowhere near what it it was when he fought that Vy- Vyzec-- What did you call them?" He asked his attendant.

Not as strong? I suppose he must be talking about the moments that I was using Kaioken.

"Vyxilians, my Lord. And yes, he certainly is the one, but his power has seemingly diminished." Whis said as he looked at me with a curious gaze. "No, that's not it..."

Whis stepped closer, using his staff to lift my arms and tail as he circled around me with intrigue.

"That sudden burst of power definitely came from you." He muttered.

"Burst of power?" I asked with a confused expression.

"Yes, when Lord Beerus was speaking to your ruler." He replied, still proceeding to look me over. His eyes suddenly widened a bit before returning to his calm demeanor as he slowly stood up straight. "You're hiding your true power, aren't you?"

That accusation caused me to flinch back a little.

"Hiding it?" Beerus asked as he glanced at me.

"It seems that young Zyleth here has learned how to control his energy to the point that he can hide his true capabilities." Whis told the Destroyer.

"Really now? And here I thought all you Saiyans were just Barbarians who didn't even know how to groom their tails properly." Beerus said.

"Groom our-- Huh...?" I couldn't help but be so utterly confused by that statement that my response just slipped out.

"Nevermind, seems you still don't." Beerus shook his head before turning to walk away. "Let's go, Whis. I'm growing dreadfully tired."

"Actually, Lord Beerus, if you're willing, I was hoping to ask Zyleth here a few questions." Whis told him before turning his head towards me. "You don't have a problem with that, do you?"

"Of course not, Lord Whis!" I shook my head vigorously at the Angel.

Whis smiles a bit and says, "You can just call me Whis."

I nodded my head, hearing a groan coming from the other side of the room.

"Fine, but hurry it up! I want to get off this backwater planet as soon as possible." Beerus said before sitting down on the King's throne.

"Wouldn't take but a moment, my Lord." Whis said gleefully as he stared at me creepily. "Now, would you mind letting your power out for a teensy moment?"

"Like... all of it or just a little bit?" I asked.

"All of it would be best." Whis replied.

This isn't good. My body secretes God Ki naturally on its own. I'm guessing it's the reason why Whis is bothering to speak to me in the first place considering that I let a small amount of it out just a moment ago.

Only thing is, what happens when his suspicions are confirmed? If I use Kai Kai to run, he can most certainly find me using that damned staff of his and would probably be very suspicious of why I can use a technique only a Kai should know.

Seeing little in terms of options, I nodded hesitantly before clenching my fists and letting out a primal roar. My near-black aura erupted from my body, causing a fair bit of rubble to fly all over the place.

Upon feeling my energy, Whis' eyes narrowed. From the other side of the room, Beerus had suddenly sat up straight in the throne, looking over with the same narrowed gaze as his attending Angel.

"My, my... Seems like someone has some explaining to do." Whis said with a serious expression.

"Yes, someone certainly does." Beerus said as he walk over and looked down at me.

That's it. I'm dead. Game over.

This was all for goddamned nothing. Five years of grueling training and battles all for me to be erased from existence.

Krillin, you are so fucking dead!

"Child..."

Beerus extended his hand, and I braced myself for erasure.

"Who are your parents?"

My eyes open with vast amounts of confusion before I look up at him, then towards Whis, when back towards him.

"Pardon?" I asked.

"Your parents! Who are they?!" He shouted in annoyance.

"M-My parents are Gine and Bardock, Lord Beerus!" I exclaimed, bowing multiple times.

"Bardock and Gine? Now those sound like Saiyan names..." Beerus said as he looked over to Whis, who nodded his head in agreement. "Are your parents Saiyans?"

"Yes, Lord Beerus." I nodded my head.

"Are you sure?" Whis suddenly asked.

I nodded my head vigorously. "Yes, I am quite sure!"

Whis and Beerus looked towards each other with suspicious gazes before looking back towards me.

"Then I suppose we'll just have to meet them." Beerus said, looking at me with a smirk.
