CH 68: Dragon Kings Join the Crew

(A/N: Yo, I'm back! Sorry, for not updating, I was taking an actual break. You know, enjoying some games, reading some Mangas/Manhuas/Manhwas, trying to find a way to sell me organs to build a fucking Branded deck in Master Duel, those stuff. I'm back though, and I'll start updating again.

I was supposed to update yesterday, on the 1st, and even wrote a new chapter for my original Dragon novel, but it was my sister's birthday and couldn't update this one. So, sorry for that. And can we talk about that badass masterpiece of a boss music that basically starts an opera in the middle of the duel? It's Yu-Gi-Oh! "To think something like this would happen." Upon hearing about his "dreams" and reincarnation, Water grew amazed :"You truly are a fascinating existence." Fire didn't look as amazed, but had stopped showing aggression after making sure he wasn't an enemy. After all, it was easy to know if someone was lying or not for creatures as old as them.

Fire :"The concept of reincarnation isn't much to beings of our strength, since controlling the soul is basically child's play for us. But if what you said about universes and Multiverses is true, then coming to another Multiverse entirely is a pretty big deal. After all, traveling between universes is nothing compared to that."

Ah Li :"You already know about universes being separate?"

Fire :"Hm? Of course. Although we're not Omnipotent, it wouldn't be farfetched to say that God Kings are Nigh-Omnipotent or nearly Nigh-Omnipotent. It just depends on each one's own limits. So it's easy for us to know about the ends of the universe and to know that there are other worlds beyond. But we didn't know about Multiverses, which as you've said, are like a compilation of the same universe."

Ah Li :"Makes sense."

Water, smiling :"It's true that your reincarnation is impressive, but I think your dreams are a lot more wonderful. To be able to experience and see the stories of other Multiverses is amazing. I'm sure you've come across many interesting stories and worlds."

"Well, yeah. I've seen many Multiverses and many protagonists or heaven's chosens, some which are interesting, amazing and fun to observe, and some that outright make me rage. And there are some Multiverses that have made me regret having eyes or intelligence. I'm getting war flashbacks just thinking about it." Thinking about Boku no Pico, Metamorphosis, sc*t, amp*tee, and all the horrible things he had seen, a noticeable amount of cheerfulness left him.

Fire :"Damn, you must have seen some real messed up shit, huh, kid?"

Ah Li :"Yeah... messed up shit... shit... goddamn it..."

Water :"Are you alright, child? You're starting to look a bit pale."

Ah Li :"Yeah, yeah, I'm good. Phew, I was just reminded of a lot of bad memories."

Fire :"Good to hear. So here's the important question, why did you come here, and why are you telling us all of this?"

Water :"Dear is right. Although it is true that your secret is safe here with us considering we can't get out of here, it's still not a good idea to reveal something like that. So that must mean you want something from us."

"That's true." He mused, eyes sharp with a sharp smile :"Simple, I want to ask you two to join me, along with all the other Dragon Kings." Surprising the two. Fire cocked an eyebrow :"Join you? Us? Why?"

Ah Li :"It's because of three reasons. One, it's the benefits. In case you missed it, you two are Dragon Kings. Fucking God Kings even if former ones! If you two join me, I am absolutely sure my strength will skyrocket!

Two, I think it's too much of a waste. Too pitiful. Nine God Kings will just wither away as time passes with no chance of ever taking revenge for yourselves or the Divine Beasts and Soul Beasts that have suffered in the hands of the Gods. The fact that they tried to sabotage the enemy is understandable, but to be so cruel to the entire race of all Soul Beasts and force humans to advance by slaughtering them is still unnecessary. They're just asking for enmity. And three, revenge."

"Revenge?" Fire asked, engrossed in Ah Li's reasoning, especially when his cheerful face disappeared, replaced by a cruel light in his eyes as he gritted out :"You're not the only one who has a grudge against those bastards.

Although I haven't suffered because of them, people dear to me have been unfairly wronged by those bastards. The two of them had a grudge against a successor of two Gods, and even though the Gods had agreed to not intervene with the mortal realm, those bastard Gods unfairly intervened several times and even resurrected him after dying by their hands!

That's what has happened in the original timeline, and would happen in this timeline too if I wasn't around. It would happen in the future and hasn't yet. Although that's what I'm trying to stop from happening, it's true that it has happened in other universes. Even if I do get rid of the successor, my grudge with those fucking Gods and everybody else who ignored the rule they had made will remain.

All of them are responsible for what happened to my dear ones, whether it's the ones who were against them or the ones who just ignored what those Gods did, they're all responsible for what happened to them. The end result was that my loved ones died, so isn't it obvious that I want them all dead?"

'Li'er...' Bibi Dong was touched, along with Qian Renxue. She knew he cared about them, but didn't know how protective he was of her mother. It was a nice feeling. To have someone care so much about her, even if not exactly because of herself, when she never had someone like that in all of her faked life.

Hu Liena smiled gently. She was happy to be cared for as well, but what really made her happy was how much her master was cared for. Even if forgiven, she still felt guilty. She wanted the best for not just her, but also for her daughter. The fact that someone was willing to go against the entire God Realm for her dear master left a sweet feeling in her heart.

Outside, watching the hatred swim in his eyes, Fire smirked. It felt good to know someone other than them hated those ungrateful bastards so much as well. But he wasn't impatient in agreeing.

Fire :"Let's say all of that is true. But you missed an important point, why should we help you? Sure, we do have a grudge against the Gods, and nothing beats the desire of wanting to tear all of them apart limb by limb in my heart. But why should we join you?

We can't do anything anymore, as you can see. And even if we stayed put, the Silver Dragon King who escaped and the Golden Dragon King will eventually unite and fight against the Gods. The only reason why we lost was because the Dragon God was in a state of madness. If he was in his right mind and could use all of his powers, then there's no way the Gods would be able to win."

Ah Li, smirking :"Simple, because neither of them will do anything either. In the 30,000 years that I have seen, forget about taking revenge, neither of them even went against the Gods nor struggled against them."

"What?" The two frowned, Fire frowning deeper :"What does that mean? Those two are meant to become one for the Dragon God to appear again. And there's no way those two will put away the grudges against the Gods."

"Oh, but they did." The noiret chuckled mockingly :"Do you know why? 20,000 years from now on, those two will finally start to make a move. But the Golden Dragon King, who was imprisoned in the Divine Realm, gets killed and becomes the son of a certain God King's Martial Soul."

Fire :"What?! Golden Dragon King gets killed?!"

Ah Li :"That's not the biggest twist. Do you know who that certain God King is?"

"It can't be..." Looking at his knowing smirk, rage boiled within the two. His smirked turned toothy :"Asura God." At the mention of the name, overwhelmingly powerful auras of hot and cold escaped the two, shaking the entire space.

"Asura God... that son of a bitch..." Fire gritted out a whisper, making Ah Li smirk :"But do you know what's the worst part? After Asura God sends his son to the mortal realm, the Silver Dragon King, who had transformed into a human, finds hum. But instead of taking revenge or trying to resurrect the Golden Dragon King, she falls in love with Asura God's son!"

He started laughing, the fire of rage running rampant in their hearts :"That's right, she fell in love with him instead! So why would she go against the Gods when Asura God, basically the kind of Gods, is her father-in-law?! Not only that, she later on became the successor of the Goddess of Life and her husband became the God of Destruction, the two God Kings who were also responsible for the fall of the Dragon Kings!

Hahahaha this is one hell of a drama! They killed her entire clan and all of the Divine Beasts, and even made it so no Soul Beasts could ever ascend to Godhood, yet she joined them and married the son of Asura God instead! The actual bastard who was responsible for the death of Dragon God! Hahahaha, this beats all those bullshit drama focused stories I've seen!"

Anger was basically radiating from them, enough to either burn the world or freeze everything solid. This was an impressive space just for being able to contain them and the rampaging energy they were emitting.

"But the drama doesn't end there!" He continued laughing, finding the story so retarded when he actually thought about it that it was funny :"Do you know how the Dragon God came to be? He was the son of the Golden Dragon King and the Silver Dragon King!

So the Dragon God, the being you were counting on to take revenge for you all along with every other Divine Beast, became the grandson of Asura God! Hahahaha man, this is just hilarious! It gives Twilight a run for its money with how retarded it is!

I love him, so I'm going to discard everything and all the revenge to stay with the ones who fucked us all up! They even fought against another Divine Realm that had attacked them, and even when he succeeded in becoming the new Dragon God, he saved the Gods instead! Man, this is so stupid it's hilarious!"

"GRAAAR!!!" In his rage, all he could do was roar. Shaking the entire space with his mighty roar and nearly melting the space itself with his fire. Water Dragon King wasn't much better. Although she was calmer, probably the calmest among the Dragon Kings, her anger wasn't much better.

Coldness taking over her face, her eyes filled with hate and anger turned to Ah Li :"So you want us to join you in your revenge, since even the Golden Dragon King and the Silver Dragon King didn't do anything?"

Temporarily stopping his roars, the Fire Dragon King trembled in pure rage, looking at Ah Li who stopped smirking :"That's right. Why should I leave my revenge to other people anyway? They didn't do anything anyway, so what's the point? And do you know who my revenge is against?"

Getting the point of how much he focused on a certain God, they're eyes turned sharp in anger :"Asura God." The noiret nodded :"That's right. He's the one who let the bastard I hate succeed his position, and also the one who gave him the potential to become a God King.

Knowing who our common enemy is, I came to find you. If we work together, we can take revenge against them and kill them all. Be it Asura God, or any of the other God Kings. So what do you think? Do we have a deal?"

They looked at the hand stretched towards them, before looking at each other. The hatred and anger was unhidden, so was the newfound determination. Nodding to each other, they turned to him :"Is that even a question?" With two lines of energy turning into hands and shaking his, his smile turned demonic :"Happy to be working with you."
