CH 69 (Nice): 4th and 5th Martial Souls

"Hahahaha, I succeeded! I actually succeeded!" Outside of the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, an intense wave of Soul Power raged through the place with Dugu Bo in the center, indicating the advancement of his Soul Power Level :"After all these years of being stuck in the same Soul Power Level, not only did I solve what had been torturing me for years, I even broke through by three realms, to Lv 94! Hahahaha, this is truly a joyous occasion!"

As his Soul Power calmed down, he looked at his hands in amazement and excitement :'Wonderful, this is simply wonderful! That boy was right, this truly is the best method! The other methods would either get rid of my poison or weaken it.

But this method not only would remove the danger, it even strengthened me and my poison beyond measure! Who would have expected I would come across such an opportunity because of that boy and make a Poison Soul Core at my age? Is that what he called it? Right, a Soul Core specifically for the attribute of a Soul Master, which became my Poison Soul Core.'

It felt embarrassing to feel this giddy at his age, but he couldn't help himself. Forget about advancing by three Levels, he had lost hope of advancing even by a single one. Breaking through after reaching Titled Douluo was no easy matter, he hadn't broken through a single Level after so many years of reaching Lv 91.

Yet now, in just a few hours, he broke through not one, not two, but three Levels. Of course he would be excited. He was sure that if other Titled Douluos heard about this, they would all rush towards Ah Li to ask, and maybe even beg for his help.

'Three Levels. Advancing by three Levels after Lv 90. Just thinking about it is like a bad joke.' He snickered :'And it would be treated as one even by me if I hadn't just experienced it. No doubt, I must stick around with that kid.

Although it is a pity that I'll lose some of my freedom since I'm now someone's underling, it's completely worth it. Not only will Yan'er's life be saved thanks to him, she will grow extremely powerful in the future as well if he's willing to help her. And with how freakishly powerful he is, I may even be able to take revenge against that bastard Yue Guan.'

Taking a deep breath and exhaling, he smiled lightly :'And besides, even if not for how amazing he is, I had already made a deal with him. As long as he doesn't hurt my granddaughter, I'm willing to follow him even to hell. It's the right thing to do if my granddaughter is saved.' The fire of loyalty burned in his eyes, determination to repay the favor of saving his only remaining family member, his dear granddaughter, sinking deep into his heart.

'By the way... where is he anyway?' He looked around, confused when he saw no traces of the noiret. He frowned :'Did he leave? How am I supposed to find him if he did? Wasn't he going to give me medicine for Yan'er after she absorbed a Soul Bone?'

As he searched for his traces or anything that he left for him, the entire place shook suddenly. It was just a small shake at first, like a light earthquake. But the entire place suddenly started shaking violently, as if the entire group was about to split into two.

"W-whoa, what the hell?!" Dugu Bo looked around, searching for what was causing the sudden earthquake when suddenly, from the lake, an intense beam of golden light shot into the sky. Something soured up from the inside of the beam, making the scorching hot and freezing cold parts splash around. Thankfully, nothing was splashed out of the lake.

He looked with amazement as a figure rose, and he could swear he saw two dragons flying around him to the sky, one red and one blue. Enormous in size, but nothing compared to what their actual sizes were. As he shot up, spinning like a top, the dragons danced together around him, before going inside of him.

As they disappeared with a mighty roar, the light separating into multiple pieces before going inside of his forehead, forming a dragon tattoo, Ah Li came to a stop in the air before spreading his clenched arms, letting a violent wave of Soul Power spread around, a mix of red and blue, just like the western dragons that were dancing around him a moment ago. Looking into his fists, feeling overwhelming power inside of his entire body even without the Orbs, a toothy smile spread on his face, revealing his sharp fangs. Giving him a feral and animalistic appearance when seen with his two long red horns spreading out from his head.

"Hahaha, hahahaha, hahahahaha, HAHAHAHA!" He laughed into the night sky, overjoyed at what he had achieved. A new Martial Soul. He had acquired yet another Martial Soul despite acquiring another one just yesterday. And not a normal Martial Soul either. But one that even surpassed Bibi Dong, the Rakshasa Goddess Martial Soul, a 1st Class God Class Martial Soul.

God King Class Martial Soul. And not just one, but two of them. One Beast-type and one Tool-type.

That was the grade of what he had acquired. And not just normal ones, as if there were any. But two God King Class Martial Souls that were the fusion of two God Kings. No wonder he felt so powerful. His entire body had gone through a monstrous transformation thanks to the new God King Class Martial Soul.

And even though he had mostly stopped his Soul Power Level from progressing, he had still broken through to Lv 40, and would break through to Lv 45 or so right after acquiring his Soul Ring. He had already advanced from Lv 33 to 38 thanks to Ice Empress. And the best thing was his Orbs. He had actually gotten their attributes as well, which made him smile in satisfaction.

"This is something else." He smirked, and heard Fire's voice in his mind :"(Congratulations, kid, you've made the impossible possible. To think a human child could withstand getting not one, but two new Martial Souls of this grade. Even if you could stop the feeling of pain, the fact that your soul and body could withstand them is extremely impressive.)"

"(He's right.)" Blue joined the conversation :"(Even a single God King Divine Beast becoming your Martial Soul should have been impossible. More so since you weren't born with it, and had one fuse with you. But you actually managed to withstand two God Kings fusing in your body and giving you two Martial Souls. Congratulations, I have to admit you're the most talented being I have ever seen.)"

(A/N: FYI, it's not that each became a separate Martial Soul, but that each of the two Martial Souls is a fusion of the two. Both have fire and ice.)

Ah Li, smirking :"(Yeah, thanks. I have to thank you two as well for joining our little family.)"

Fire :"(I wouldn't really call it small, it's pretty lively up here. But you're welcome, kid. So, what do you plan on naming these Martial Souls? Picking a single one of us for the names wouldn't work considering there is going to be nine of us.)"

Ah Li :"(Hmm... let's call it... Supreme Dragon and Supreme Dragon Axe. Although it's a bit flashy, we can't give it a useless name considering it's might.)"

Fire/Blue :"(Thanks for the good name.)"

He nodded. He truly was happy and excited. He had gained a lot. As in a LOT lot. So much he had to put it in a list.

1) Two new Martial Souls. It's still unbelievable, but it was an extremely welcome surprise. He managed to get two new Martial Souls, one Beast-type and one Tool-type, which he didn't have until now. One was a Dragon-type Martial Soul, and the other one was a one-handed golden battle axe. He could already understand their might, perks of his Spiritual Power, but he still wanted to try both of them later on.

2) Soul Power Level. What he got was just the wisps, the actual amount was stored along with the amount that he didn't absorb, just like Skydream's.

3) Orbs. He didn't expect it, since they were technically already dead and just souls, but he did get their attributes. He wasn't complaining though, getting the attributes of two fucking God Kings wasn't something to complain about. And being someone who liked things organized, he put those attributes in another category just like the Arachnid Age.

Draconic Age: GK-2,000,000-years. GK stood for God King, since the age didn't increase and was just classified as 1,000,000 after godhood, no matter which Class a Divine Beast was.

4) Absolute Elements. Yes, Absolute Elements, not Ultimate Elements. Thanks to his new Martial Souls, he managed to get the elements that the God Kings possessed, Absolute Fire and Absolute Ice. He needed to discuss with them as to what was the difference between Absolute grade and Ultimate grade. But he had a hunch he already knew.

5) External Soul Bones. Yes, he also got External Soul Bones. But not like normal External Soul Bones though, these External Soul Bones were like extensions of his Supreme Dragon Martial Soul. This Martial Soul didn't have any physical form, despite giving him Soul Rings and Soul Skills. It didn't mean these External Soul Bones were just decorations though.

They were still like normal External Soul Bones, but just tied to his Martial Soul. Whenever he released his Supreme Dragon Martial Soul, the External Soul Bones would be released with it automatically. And if he released any of the External Soul Bones, all of them would be released at the same time along with the Supreme Dragon Martial Soul. They were all tied together.

He gave these External Soul Bones a name of their own, the Draconic Inheritage External Soul Bones. And each Dragon King would give him a new piece. The Water Dragon King gave him the Water Dragon King's Fangs, while the Fire Dragon King gave him the Fire Dragon King's Horns. He called bullshit on the power of just his Draconic Inheritage External Soul Bones, it was just a matter of time before the people demanded for him to be nerfed. He couldn't help but snicker.

6) New Soul Rings. They didn't just become his Martial Souls. Just like Ice Empress, they also became his Soul Spirits, making it so they could also give him Soul Rings. But considering how he wanted all nine Dragon Kings, he could only get two Soul Rings from each. One for his Supreme Dragon Martial Soul and one for his Supreme Dragon Axe Martial Soul. Weird thing was, he didn't even need to absorb them. His Supreme Dragon Martial Soul already had two Soul Rings attached to them. But he knew the reason, it was because of his 7th gain.

7) Something he did not expect at all. The other rewards, he had expected or was sure he would get. But this one, he did not think he would get it at all. Something that really shocked not just him, but also Bibi Dong and Qian Renxue who knew this certain gain's importance.

Godhood Inheritance.

Focusing his Soul Power on his forehead, the dragon mark shone before nine cards with golden edges appeared. The common things about all of them were that all of them had golden edges with nine golden diamonds on the lower right, with a text box on the lower half of the cards. However, seven of them were completely blank, even the text boxes, while only two of them had an image each.
