''A1 get all Dogs of War ready to fight, get ready to go to the Ruin immediately. A4 Bring the Artifact from the Treasury and the rest of the Pseudo Artifacts.''
Samuel immediately sent out the orders with determination on his face.
Undoubtedly this Ruin is destined to be an adventure for Luke, and if it wasn't Samuel defending it it would be another Rank F Organisation, or a new enemy for Luke.
But Samuel was different, he had enough dogs of War to compete with the so called protagonist, if it went according to the normal trajectory, Samuel was convinced that Luke would easily wipe out the organisation and earn a good amount of resources.
However if Samuel wanted to fight against Luke he had to be confident enough to kill him. Otherwise it would surely snap back to bite Samuel in the ass.
Although Samuel is confident to be able to Outdo Luke in the future after enough time, he can't deny that his development rate is much slower than Lukes. Think about it, Luke has zero access to resources, a poor background, no Spiritual Fruits and is already a Middle Rank 1 Warrior!
It took A1 an expensive Spiritual Fruit and more time just to break through, and Samuels other Middle Ranks were either gained through Partners Loyalty or given a lot of Spiritual Fruits.
Samuel wouldn't be surprised that if Luke has enough time to digest the Spiritual Fruit he got and the resources he would've gotten from the Ruins if Samuel didn't get them he would definitely become a High Rank 1 Warrior.
But now is Samuels only chance to take Luke down. If possible he would just like to be a spectator in Lukes story, but obviously Lukes running into his Ruin doesn't allow for this.
So when Luke finally entered the room with three tombs what greeted him was a strange sight.
Over 60 figures stood armed with swords, battle axes, spears each radiating the power of a warrior, five leading the way with a small white shield floating in front of their bodies.
''What the fuck?'' Luke was stunned. He didn't expect that a Ruin he happened to stumble across would have so many warriors.
''Hey uhh wait hold up no!'' Luke was just starting to speak when A1 immediately charged forward.
Naturally Samuel wouldn't be so dumb as to let his Dogs of War casually chat with the protagonist, who knows what would happen.
Luke also realised he couldn't talk to these people, and to be honest he didn't want to lose the chance of looting this Mausoleum. He couldn't explain it but there was an instinct telling him that something important was in here. Something crucial in his life!
So he could only fight. His body immediately radiated an endless black smoke surrounding his arm. Immediately he cut out the long Pseudo Artifact BroadSword, hidden in the smoke.
A1 didn't stop his slash towards Lukes body, but his eyes darted around keeping his eyes open for the blade.
But just as A1s cut was going to reach Lukes body he seemed to dissipate into the smoke reappearing to the right of A1. A mocking smile appeared on Luke's face as the blade once again cut down.
Clearly A1 is unable to spin around quick enough to block, but just as the Broadsword was going to hit A1, a small white shield appeared between A1 and Luke blasting out a bright light.
''An Artifact?!'' Luke exclaimed. He has had a bad experience with Artifacts ever since he became a warrior. Not only did he lose first place in the competition to a Bell Like Artifact, he is convinced that the Sealife Organisation are using an artifact to hunt him.
But now there's another one! However it clearly has no combat capabilities, so Luke wasn't too worried, he could wear down A1.
However he forgot something important, well 60 important things. The rest of the Dogs of War took this chance to attack.
Various weapons flew towards Luke, even including a fire coated slash cut out by A50!
Luke immediately panicked. Although he was strong for his rank even without Spiritual Fruit, he couldn't stand up against 60 warriors including multiple Middle Rank 1 Warriors!
So his body twisted in an unusual fashion almost melting as he squeezed between the multiple blades.
Soon he reformed almost ten metres away from the crew, his mocking look replaced with a slight sense of panic.
But just as he turned wanting to run out of the large tomb he saw another 20 figures had filled in the door.
This caused him to completely panic. Without hesitation he pulled out a small golden orb from his pocket and immediately crushed it into dust.
The dust floated up and poured into every one of Luke's pores. Deep inside Lukes body all of his blood was slowly turning golden as it was infected with the Golden dust.
A1 could clearly feel that Lukes Aura rose quickly and unsteadily before breaking through to the High Rank 1!
But A1 wasn't afraid, he leapt forward to meet Luke in battle. But Luke wasn't planning on sticking to A1s fist to fist fight.
His body once again dissipated into smoke appearing behind one of Samuels Dogs of War, his sword swinging down separating the Dogs of Wars head from his body.
Samuel who was watching this through A1s eyes suddenly received a System Prompt directly into his mind.
[Hosts Dog of War A76 has been killed.]
Samuel grimaced when he watched the death but there wasn't much he could do. Fighting against a Protagonist is naturally going to result in losses.
Soon the battle continued, luckily it seemed that Luke was unable to use his ability repeatedly most of the time he had to fight normally. During this time A1 and the other Middle Rank Warriors were able to mostly tie him down with the help of the Artifact.
However to Samuels distress Luke would occasionally turn into smoke and kill one of his Dogs of War.
