Chapter 102 "Side Story (94.5)"

A pure white flame tinged with crimson, the celestial fire, ignited on Mikaela, spreading her ten wings wide like a radiant mini sun, dispersing endless light and heat.

"Clang!" The valiant celestial girl extended her hand, and the fervent flames crazily surged towards it, culminating in a metallic tremble as a long spear, formed purely from celestial fire, solidified in Mikaela's grasp.

"Really, no need for anything else." Muria was astonished; Mikaela was dressed only in a battle robe without any enchantments or auxiliary effects, and even her weapon was conjured from flames.

"Boom!" The sound of thunder roared through the arena, as endless golden lightning burst forth from Muria, turning half of the arena golden with the swirling thunder around him. The intense dragon flame ignited on him, spreading an invisible storm.

Immediately, a metallic clang echoed across the arena, as a weapon formed of thunder and dragon flame appeared in Muria's hands—a polearm similar to a spear, but with crescent-shaped blades attached near the tip.

"What kind of weapon is this?" asked a celestial progeny, puzzled.

"Don't know, never seen it before."

"It looks like a fascinating weapon," remarked Titan Atreyan, watching with interest as Muria wielded the halberd formed from thunder.

"This style of weapon seems to require great skill to wield effectively," observed a battle-hardened Titan, recognizing the specialty of the weapon in Muria's hands.

"Hey, I might make one too."

The halberd, in Muria's previous life, was often seen as a ceremonial item, rarely used in actual combat. Not because it couldn't be used in combat, but because the halberd demanded high strength and skill from its wielder. In ancient times, those who could wield a halberd were invariably powerful warriors.

However, for Titans, the restrictions and requirements to use a halberd did not exist. Their immense strength and superior combat skills were standard, making each Titan a master of all weapon types.

"Mikaela, you form your weapon with your own power, so I will also use thunder and flame. I won't take advantage of you," said Muria, wielding the halberd and pointing it at the celestial girl, his face emotionless, his eyes indifferent, devoid of any superfluous emotions.

As he finished speaking, a whirlwind howled, and a dazzling white rainbow struck towards Muria's forehead, seemingly aiming to kill him without any concern for his status.

"Clang!" The sound of metal on metal rang out as Muria's halberd clashed with Mikaela's spear. Golden and white sparks flew like a fountain, scattering around. The ground lit up with stunning patterns as golden lightning flashed between them, slicing from Muria towards Mikaela.

Muria, with his right hand wielding the halberd, blocked Mikaela's spear, and his left hand, wrapped in wind and thunder, threw a punch. A fist composed of wind blades and thunder, like a war hammer, thundered towards the tall celestial girl.

The atmosphere twisted and vibrated in the direction of Muria's punch. The air was pushed away by his force, emitting a mournful cracking sound, as sonic booms spread along the vacuum trail of his punch, showcasing Titan power.

Muria did not hold back at all, intent on pushing the celestial maiden he admired to the brink.

Both Muria and Mikaela had enough confidence in themselves and believed in each other's strength. An attack of this magnitude was something they were both capable of handling.

Facing Muria's thunderous punch, Mikaela's arm vibrated, dispelling Muria's halberd strike. Numerous sparks gathered on her shin, forming a sharply angled greave. Her long leg rose, kicking apart the formidable thunder punch, and the air filled with sparks circulated around.

Seeing his forceful punch repelled, Muria was not discouraged. His halberd exploded into wind and flames, rushing towards Mikaela. The celestial girl, unflustered, dissolved her spear into a wall of flames, blocking Muria's assault.

Burning with dragon flame and carrying thunder, a fierce and wild hurricane erupted from Muria, rising skywards as his 36-meter-tall Titan form stepped forward.

The arena's ground, designed to withstand battle shocks, lit up with patterns emanating from where Muria stepped, quickly illuminating most of the arena.

"Boom!" An unprecedented roar echoed through the arena as Muria stepped forward, his Titan and Dragon King bloodlines granting him a terrifying physique that allowed him to exceed the speed of sound in an instant, compressing the air explosively.

His massive, muscular form instantly charged in front of Mikaela, his right arm raised, the muscles beautifully defined, and then with his huge fist wrapped in wind, thunder, and flames, he struck at the celestial girl's delicate face without a trace of pity.

In her battle form, the ten-winged Mikaela looked slender compared to Muria, but surrounded by celestial fire, her presence was no less imposing.

Seeing Muria prepare for close combat, Mikaela showed no fear; instead, the flames around her intensified, and a slight smile appeared on her typically impassive face.

This pleased her greatly; such a Titan was exactly what she had hoped for, validating the strength she had forcibly suppressed over the past year.

As Muria's fist approached, Mikaela reached out to grab it, her fiery hand clasping Muria's fist—"Crack!" a slight sound of bone breaking was heard.

"Not bad at all," Mikaela murmured, looking at the impassive Muria, before her body was flung back, trailing a long path of flames across the expansive arena.

The mechanical mindset spell Muria employed kept his emotions at bay, focusing solely on the fight. Golden blood occasionally splashed from the sky, while on the ground, fluid-like incandescent flames flowed—Mikaela's blood, burning like fire.

Time blurred, and Mikaela's flames began to wane, no longer enveloping her completely. Her power was nearly depleted.

Muria's condition wasn't much better; his large bolts of thunder reduced to fine arcs, the dragon flame extinguished, and the hurricane a mere shadow of its former self.

"The final strike," Muria murmured, channeling the last of his strength into a solid form of the halberd.

Mikaela's wings, too, gathered all remaining flames into her hands, forming a simple spear.

"Clang!" As their weapons took form, they both propelled themselves like long rainbows, clashing together. "Pfft!" Golden blood tinged with celestial fire splattered.

"I won!" Muria declared, holding the spear that had pierced his chest with one hand, while positioning his halberd at Mikaela's pale neck with the other.
