CHAPTER ONE

<CORNELIUS' MANSION---JAPAN>

WELCOME BACK HOME.....was written boldly round the richly living room which has various maids working in it.

It's the biggest mansion in Japan anyways,so that much is expected.

The maids were preparing for the arrival of Mr Cornelius son, Martin Cornelius. 

After seven years of being in the states, he was finally coming back, so the maids were  busy making the house look radiant.some of the maids are fixing the meal,some arranging his room

In the middle of the living room stood Kelvin, he was looking fucking dangerous like the devil he was.

In his mouth was the weed he always kept on him and he kept puffing as he stared at the decorated room. 

That has been his daily routine, perhaps his hobby, smoking his time away, clubbing and going after everything that wore a skirt. 

"Didn't I warn you several times not to smoke in this house again?" Eugenia, their mother, asked sternly. "If you want to smoke, you know where to go yet you come to show your stupidity… " she snarled at him

"Mother!!" Kelvin yelled, throwing down the weed then stepped on it. 

"Didn't I tell you to stop polluting my house?" Eugenia yelled

"What do you want old woman?" Kelvin asked in frustration. 

"Martin is coming back home!" She said, calmly

Kelvin smirk.

"The moment I started seeing these useless crap for decorations, I knew this was the nonsense you were up to." He scorned. "That scrote is coming home without letting me know. Bravo!". Kelvin chuckled slightly then glared in a dangerous way. 

"How dare you speak of your brother that way and besides, is your opinion needed before your brother comes home?". Mrs Cornelius retorted, angrily

"Did he get tired of staying there or did he just get interested in coming home,hu ok llh!mother! answer me". Kelvin asked

"Aren't you happy to see you brother after 7 years, when are you gonna stop ur hatred towards your own blood" she snapped

"Maybe when you stop comparing us". he blurted

"Enough of your stupidity,so get your fucking ass up, go in there get the car key and go pick up brother up in the airport"

"I am going nowhere,am not picking a bastard up,if you want peace in this house don't bring in ur beloved son". Kelvin sneered

A resounding slap landed on his cheek immediately he said that

"How could you hate your brother so much,for the past seven years we haven't seen him,now he's coming home shouldn't you at least be happy to see him, I thought because you two were young that why you don't get on each other side,but now I see as you grow your hatred grow wider with you bastard, I regret ever having birth to you". Eugenia said almost in tear

"Look at your brother he hasn't been with us he there living a peaceful life but here you are been feed and cloth,you haven't work to earn all you do is smoke and get us into trouble, can't you live a good life like your brother"

"That's what you keep saying of me, have I not tried my best enough ,mother, I can't change who I am so stop comparing us". Kelvin said angrily

"You are just a waste"

"What going on there, mother and son, isn't today supposed to be a celebration day,why making bad use of it". Mr Cornelius   join them, when he heard the noise

"Isn't it you foolish son"Eugenia said as she sat on the cou.she hold her forehead with her palm, crying slowly

Kelvin just walked out of them

"Common,genia you don't have to cry, you are to be happy our son is coming home after seven good years and forget about Kelvin,u know Martin mustn't Meet you in this mood". Mr Cornelius console her

"I know but Kelvin is always making me sad". Eugenia said, wiping her tear

"Let forget about Kelvin for now, relax make yourself happy, lemme to talk to him" 

he phone rang immediately he stood 

 "Hello Oephus"

"7pm topbond hotel."

"Alright."

the call drop.

BALCONY

Kelvin resume his smoking as he got to the balcony, he has tried all his best to prove that he has good in him too but no she couldn't want to see, all she do compare him to his younger brother, and that pissed him off always.

He continues transferring his anger to the weed as he puff it angrily.

He has been trying to gain his mother trust but she never stop criticizing him for his brother leaving them, now that the one who made his mother hate him so much is coming home it not gonna get any room in his mother heart, that only fury his anger.

"Kelvin 7pm today at topbond hotel you are meeting with Oephus,make it snappy there and make sure you bring my fucking money". Mr Cornelius said.

Mr Cornelius has been a drug dealer nobody knows about this only those he trade with and his son Kelvin.

"Alright dad". he said still smoking

"Man up and be wise, mind you I want you to be in your best behavior when your brother comes home " Mr Cornelius said, leaving him to himself 

ALFRED'S APARTMENT

Birsha was in the living room fixing lunch when Tracy arrived. 

"Mum!" Tracy smiled, hugging her from behind. 

"How was it?" Birsha asked. 

"I was asked to come on Monday by 7am. I just hope I get the job." Tracy said as she sat on a chair

"Just put your mind at ease, sis. You'll surely get it." Daria, her younger sister said in encouragement and she nodded. 

"Where's dad?" Tracy asked. 

"As usual. He's probably at the bar, drinking his wrecked life away!" Daria blurted out. 

"Stop saying that. We know he's trying his possible best but he doesn't get the money." Their mother warned

"Even if he didn't have much did he has to be drinking and disturbing our peace" Tracy said

"Yeah,is the drinking the way out ,cus you keep defending him,and to even think he use the money you sweat for to drink make me mad" Daria said annoyed

"It's enough girls, everything is going to be fine,let eat" Birsha said, serving their food

"Hello everyone" Kimberly, Tracy crazy friend said aloud as she step into the house.

"Hi Kimberly, Join us on the table" Birsha said

"Thanks Aunty"

"Hi" Daria greeted

"Baby girl" Kimberly said, touching her cheeks

"Stop calling me baby girl,i'm a grown up lady" Daria pouted, Kimberly laughed 

"so...Tracy how did it go" she asked

"Well..am to resume on Monday" Tracy replied  mouthful

"All right baby, hurry up with your food,we get to go somewhere" Kimberly said in rush.

"Can I tag along" Daria ask.

"No darling stay with Mommy" Kimberly said dramatically .

"Am done, let me go change my dress" Tracy said

15 minutes later…

she's all dressed in black short gown

"Bye mommy" they both said at a time and exit the room.

"Bring something for me when coming" Daria said after them.

"My lovely kids" Birsha smile
