Arc 1-Chapter 5

Xiao Tian is currently looking himself in the mirror . Last night, he skipped the meals again due to his unwillingness to eat even though it is vital. He is still feeling hungry but held on to it .

Tian- I don't even have average looks , I don't look like a protagonist from any angle, generally cultivation protagonists are handsome or heaven defying , even the rapist Yun che looks handsome . Nothing is standing out of me dull grey eyes, black hair and below average face . Honestly, I look like some background character in anime . This can be advantageous for me but still can't I ask for a good looking face when everyone in this world are godly looking .

Xiao Tian sighed again . He expected to have good looks but seeing everything is below average about his face made him a little dejected but he quickly got over it . His mystic eyes doesn't have any special effects on eyes but he can see deathlines clearly .

He was surprised that he got a job at the institute despite being 8 years old but this is cultivation world where all kinds of bizzare things are possible . So, he shrugged it off.

Xiao Tian recieved a wooden token which represents his position as a librarian . After that , Xiao Tian searched for a house near by with a large back yard and beautiful but simple house . After buying it , he was left with 900,000 DSC . Xiao yan after seeing that everything is settled has left .

Xiao Tian completed the quest by buying necessary items for kitchen . His plot is already bought so , there's that.

He read few easy recipes and prepared his food . After feeling his stomach full , he went to his bed room and started to meditate .For the first time after coming to this world , He felt the energy in the air . Xiao Tian began to cultivate.

He concentrated towards the feeling and saw himself in a white sphere with golden tints , in the middle there is a tiny egg which is in spinning at the centre . Xiao tian got out of the meditative state and exhaled vigorously .

Tian: Huff! Huff! Damn! I Huff! thought the pain will be nothing but I was so wrong . It is painful to cultivate but the technique revolves around altering the body granting superhuman capabilities which will inevitably cause pain. Status .

Tian- The rest of it went for the creation of egg , Normally with the amount of soul force I gathered and level of technique I have , I would have broke through gold rank by now but..... Inscriptions are runes and runes can do some reality bending shit in animes and novels . I can't Ignore that .

Tian got alerted listening to that . He knows that there are subsidiary realms in divine continent but to think that even Legendary rank experts are going to die in the catostrophe made him worry.

With perfect memory and flaw recognition , he decoded the old languages quickly but he still has to read a lot of books . People rarely attended library , even if they did they would just left the books on the tables all he has to do is arrange them in shelves so, his job was easy .

During night , he started arranging his house with equipments necessary for farming , plumbing and cooking. He decided to grow herbs but cover it by growing Vegetables along with them .

In his home , Tian is cultivation when suddenly black stuff appeared from his skin all over his body and formed a hard shell across him but Xiao Tian still cultivated until he felt terrible order around him . He knows that he broke through Bronze rank and is still cultivating because his Soul seed is sucking the soul force even better than before but got disturbed . Tian immediately took off his clothes and went to bathing . He burnt the clothes which were covered in impurities .

After his bath , Tian looked himself in the mirror , he still looked below average but this time his skin became smooth and he could feel the strength in his body which is superhuman . He felt like he could smash anyone to bits and pieces but he knows better than that , this is just feeling of gaining strength . He could think even more clearly now , his senses are sharper than before.

Seeing the sheer amount of flaws in the translated books here , it is waste of time but I can't suddenly appear out of no where and ace the test , I recently heard some group called Dark guild who are from outside of this city , there'll be on my tail if I'm not careful . I will also try to decode the ancient alchemy pills here and create them in my house .
