A warning

After blinking twice Gaby's gaze met that of the demon with a crown on his head.

While he stared fiercely at him,he had his hand flexed over a face which the sleeve of his garment concealed while sparing only his eyes.

Next Gaby eyed his surroundings as his breathing slowed down.

He was back to the hallway, where he was before... surely the savior's voice he heard wasn't Dark's it had to be the King's but why ?

"I don't need you Killing this one.... there's something about him,I feel we will be needing him"

Dark raised a brow, eyeing the king quizzidly while expecting an explanation to what he had just said with him.

"If I am correct,he plotted all these... he's smart and talented,I want to see more of him".

After looking up ahead, his eyes settled on dark and his gaze hardened.

"There was another presence...what was it?"

The Sorceror glanced quickly around him then returned his gaze back to the king before replying;

"There was a hell dog not too long ago...It must have escaped while I was distracted...it won't be a problem would it?"

The king swung his hand swiftly behind him as he turned in the other direction.

"Lock him up for now....I already know what to do with him"the demon muttered under his breath before vanishing.

The seats of the Chief knights surrounded a long rectangular table with a map of the forest surrounding the walls spread out on it, extending to both ends of the table.

Their knights surrounded them listing with apt attention and eyes which never left the map.

A short stack of stairs led to an elevated area up front in the hall where king's sat in their usual position,on both sides of the emperor.

From their high position they could see the whole occupants of the room, the heights of their seats giving them a better view of the map below.

The hall was packed with selected knights from all six realms, with each knight being diffentiated by the emblem of their armour.

Gerald and some top generals did most of the talking, explaining formations, giving out battle ideas and grouping knights based on their abilities under any of their superiors.

From where she sat Athena watched the emperor's knight, with tides of thoughts running through her mind, she was barely paying attention to the meeting.

Imagining a lifeless body of him made her want to puke.

She couldn't bare seeing the life of such a young talented innocent man go to waste because of her.She would do her possible best to convince him and set him on their side and she prayed with all her heart it would work.

At the end of the briefing, Athena realized she had been staring at Gerald the whole time during the meeting.

Her eyes had never left him, even while he was seated and when another speaker came up her gaze only followed and settled on him.

Thankfully,he didn't notice she had been staring all these while.

He never looked her way, probably was avoiding eye contact or was too engrossed in plans for tomorrow's battle.

Athena only took her eyes of Gerald for the brief moment general Rengyoutsu walked pass her with other generals out the door way.

For a moment she watched him from behind as his white garment tossed to the rhythm of the wind that emassed the whole room from the open windows.

She wondered if he had gotten Delu's opposing spell but she wouldn't dare approach him to ask that.

The general was too stubborn and held a reputation for doing things his own way.

If he had no Intention of getting the opposing spell,he wouldn't and no one would make him.

She couldn't understand why he wouldn't cooperate when she was certain he also wanted the imperial prince dead, having knowledge of the prophecy.

Ren was the only one she knew who could breech the barrier,a general rumoured to be as strong as the emperor,a general who had a reputation of taking others from none except the emperor.

She had seen him fight in battle but he had never transformed probably because he had no need to,his powers were beyond sufficient.

Athena considered talking to someone in the plot about it, someone of high rank that he would probably give audience to.

The Chief knight sat, arms folded with crossed legs while she watched Gerald speak to some generals after the meeting.

The kings still sat, whispering and chatting with their voices dissolved in the noise from the hall.

In a short while, they began leaving one after the other, some vanishing from their thrones while a few walked out of the door with several knights trailing behind them.

Gerald looked Tyran's way countless times after as though wanting to speak with him but he was prevented because of the crowd that needed his attention.

A few kings talked with him before leaving,so did some generals.

Gerald talked with some others the whole time distracted by looking and monitoring for an opening to speaking with the emperor with a conspicuous look of impatience on his face.

Athena watched Gerald approach a standing Tyran as he stretched.

For some reason fear gripped her as her heart rate increased.Deep within her she prayed it wasn't too late, that he wasn't about telling him she killed her squire.

Gerald muttered something which the emperor nodded to,then suddenly king Maxmillian walked up to him and whispered into his ears.

Emperor Tyran nodded again while looking into the king's eyes then he turned to Gerald, said a few words then Gerald bowed and started to descend the stairs.

With his hand on king Maxmillian's shoulders they both disappeared, leaving the knight's face wearing a look of disappointment as he walked towards the doors of the great door.

As a crowd of Knights walked past him with the armour of a good number of Knights rubbing against his,Gerald looked below at his belt to find a paper stuck in it.

His eyes wandered for a while as he turned from side to side, searching his surroundings for who had left it.

When he couldn't find anyone suspicious,he took out the letter and sniffed on it,it had no scent of the person who had written it, probably was coated with Fripju lily.

Gerald squeezed on it tightly and walked out the great hall, not looking Athena's way.

Immediately he walked pass her she abruptly stood up and trailed after him.

For a while she walked behind him in silence, with her mind pondering on the exact words to say to him.

After Gerald noticed her presence he increased his pace and when he had given a good distance between them he took out the paper and opened it.

It was a short one with; 'The hunt,be careful, don't leave the emperor's side, only he can protect you !' being written in the middle of the paper.

Gerald stopped walking and stared at it for a while but when Athena drew closer he quickly folded it and stuck it in his armour.
